When they get the altered candy they end up going on a trip to Halloween Town from the Movie Nightmare before Christmas. The the gentleman with the big neck is Eli and he is becoming the mayor who is basically shaped like a triangle. Geoff is a vampiren Layne is a demon, J is a is a werewolf and Earl (the gentleman with a really high voice) is the behemoth and in the movie he is blue with an ax in his head. If you don't want to watch the movie you should at least watch the intro where they have a parade for Jack Skellington who is the who is the hero of Halloween Town and all of these characters appear.
"Can't fully open his mouth because his huge double chin is in the way". I can relate 😂
You're at PattyCake Productions. Geoff did The Monster Mash so much fun. The boy is Layne's (beatboxer) nephew.
Thanks for a fun reaction! I think they are matching up to various characters in The Nightmare Before Christmas (but it has been a loooong time since I watched it). I really like that they have fun with their music and performances. The character voices are done really well.
Layne is turning into the devil thats frequently seen eith the yellow plaid shirt werewolf J is turning into, Eli is turning into the Mayor, Earl is turning into Behemoth, and Geoff is obviously one of the vampire trio

People do say he's green but to me he's blue. And he's Behemoth. The neck guy is the mayor. The child is Layne's nephew. Layne is the vocal percussionist, playing a devil here.

The little boy is the beatboxer Layne's nephew
But in one of the chats or Q & A's that Geoff did with his wife, Kathy, it was revealed that she doubled for some of the shots of 'his' (the nephew's) hand because he couldn't quite get it as precise as they needed it.
That's Earl. the guy changing color, I think he's supposed to be like an ogre. You need to watch some of the other reactions to this but I believe the kid is Layne's nephew, since I know they have tried to use family and friends where possible ie the guy who played Santa in Oogey Boogey Song

The vocalizing at the beginning of the song is the introduction to Grim Grinning Ghosts.
If you watxh over time, one member of voice play changes a few times so that'd make an interesting analysis as their sound changes
You should watch their version of when the Dragonborn comes

They have out done themselves yet again with this production. Cesar (the newest member) shows off his talents and what a singer! Another one featuring Rachel Potter, she shows exactly how much power she really has. And you'll love Geoff's bass in this. Between Geoff's bass and Layne's beatboxing, you'll have to keep reminding yourself that it's all voice. There's also a little section where the whole group is beatboxing.

You mention the group has no woman, they have one from this year where they have one, with Ashley Diane but they did 'If I were a Rich Man', fairly simple lyrics but the techniques are good. Have you reacted to You're a Mean one Mr Grinch? perhaps do that in the weeks before Christmas?
