The reason I gave was the Miyoo Mini+ is much better and even though it's more expensive it'd actually worth buying. The SF2000 will be languishing in your junk drawer within a week.
Sure, come back to a video 8months after it's dropped and say prices are different. 🤷. But with the passage of time comes more competition. You can pick up a Miyoo A30 for about 2.5x the price of the SF2000 right now. Similar form factor too. The SF2000 is absolutely still hot trash 😂 but the A30 is a solid low cost performance handheld. I know which one I'd pick. 👍
@@handheldgaming4life Looks like there are comments from months ago saying the same thing. The SF2000 isn't trash, it's a cheap handheld for situations where you wouldn't want to risk a more expensive one. I bought mine as a beater to keep in my car. It works fine as long as you understand its limitations. And honestly, although it is more powerful, the build quality of the Miyoo handhelds is shockingly bad, I'd even go as far as to say worse than the SF2000. Maybe ok for a careful adult, but I wouldn't give one to a child. The screen fell off my Miyoo Mini, and since then I have stuck with Anbernic.
The problem as I see it are people use 1 site, AliExpress only and don't shop around. As I found I got a MM+ for a lot less than AliExpress prices. As for build quality. MM+ is decent quality compared to SF2000 that's for sure. But perhaps worse quality than an Anbernic. The build quality of the Miyoo stems from the original Mini and people still think the + is same. The new Miyoo A30 is considerably better than the SF2000 and will survive in a car without the risk of torching the car. 😂
@@handheldgaming4life I'm sure it can, but again, it's well over double the price of the SF2000. I agree that it is worth spending a little more to get a better device (for example, buying an RG28XX instead of an A30) but that doesn't mean that there isnt a place for the SF2000.

Depends on location. The Miyoo is about 4x the price if I were to buy it new locally. Significantly more expensive even if I was to import it, after considering shipping, VAT and customs taxes. It is better in every regard though.
In the UK i'm struggling to find a SF2000 for under £20-25, they usually advertise as under this but then postage on top. Plus they're always from Aliexpress/Temu etc so the risk of added import taxes always looms.
