Have you noticed wavy horizontal lines in the whole screen area? you are more able to see them in gray shadow images, the more bright it is, the less you see them, I just bought one, brand new, and I thought it was a defective one, perhaps it is just a poor quality issue and not really a defect, but the surface is not smoot, how is it yours?
I’ve heard mixed reviews about the fan noise on this projector. I was wondering if there is a difference in fan noise when using internal speakers vs an external surround sound system. Thanks for the review.
Hi Jason, thanks for watching. The fan noise of Vankyo V620 is pretty low but you can hear a bit with the audio. In my opinion, if you hook up a good external audio system with it, you could get a much better sound and minimize the projector's internal fan sound. Hope this helps.
Mine has always got a green screen no matter how many vodeos i watch and change the setting to there setting its terriable and the fan is really loud so mines going in the bin and ile buy a dif brand thats cheaper and better image and better color this is junk dont waste your money and when u tey to get hold of vankyo by email they dont reply
Hi ToffiTube, V630 must be the newer projector they released, and I haven't had the chance to test it since it's newer it should be better and quieter. After checking the specs of v630, it looks better than the v620 spec-wise. dunno if you know, maybe you dont have the projector centered but the left side is out of focus and blurry
