Nice bro.. I'm thinking of going to a zeroflex Flex12. Currently running my cerwin vega stroker competition 12inch sub DVC 2ohm 2000w rms. It's running on same amp as you @ 1ohm. Just bought a Deep cycle AGM gel batt 130a/h thing goes nuts. 0% light dim with 2nd batt strapped to it.
You sub isnt getting its max power if your running an 1800dk, I'm running my sub at 1 ohm, your best bet is running your flex12 on a 3.5k, that's what I'd do, I'm waiting for the zeroflex evos to be released then I'll upgrade 🤙
@@magic6947 yeah I know bro.. that's why I was gonna upgrade to the 3500.. look on RUclips they dyno the 1800dk and the 3500.. the 1800dk put out 1600wrms @ 1ohm.. the 3500 put out 3600w rms @.5 ohm and just under 2000w rms @ 1 ohm. Even though the birth sheet says 2200w rms @ 1ohm
@@ozmqs6204 hey man, this video is around 2 years old now, at the time and 4g wire on a 1.5k, the setup now I'm using 2/0 on a 5k, the amp I use now has a clip light on the bass remote.
nice upgrade bro, i just got the same sub and amp but i was trying to decide what wires to run on it cause i didn’t know if 4 gauge would be enough to power it haha, thanks for your help -this my first setup so i don’t know much
@@ozmqs6204 4g ofc from jaycar if nzyour are in NZ wilbe fine for the dk1800, will advise running another battery in the back. For this you'd need 0g wire running from the alternator to the back with a grond on the alternator case to the frame of the car with appropriate fusing

Haven't had them bro or talked to anyone with them.
@@magic6947 swt bro they got after pay now lol

Look like the sub could do better ?
Yep, it does now, tuned it properly and playing though usb, i though this was loud as it is my first proper sub.
