They actually put out, impressed for $37/pair. Subwoofer: Gothic 12" DVC 4ohm Enclosure: Skar AR12x1 Amp: Kicker CXA400.1 Wired to 2 ohm since only 1 sub, Kicker is rated at 300w RMS at 2 ohms but Kicker always underrates, probably getting more around 350w RMS. The sub gets DOWN in the Skar enclosure and for only pushing 350w, can't say enough about Kickers amps even though I'm not a fan of their subs. I've got a Jensen 600w 4 channel amp I need to throw onto my normal speakers, after Walmart decides to stock more of the Scosche's. Was thinking 2 per channel, so eventually should be at 8, 6x9s, 75w RMS each. The battery charger puts out around 200w~ continuous charge, sound systems obviously has their lower consumption times and peaks depending on what you're listening to, but the 15a charger honestly maintains my system paired with the 115 RC battery. 3000sqft house, and you can FEEL the bass throughout the entire house without even cranking wide open, sub still has room to go, but only able to wire down to 2 ohm. 115 RC battery is capable of putting out 25 amps for 115 minutes, so like 600-700 watts of capacity, but will receive 400 watts of charge before that drains. And that's assuming a consistent 25 amp draw for 115 minutes, sound systems don't pull consistently. Never dip below 60% charge, which is what my battery charger actually likes to maintain at, which avoids gassing of the battery, works great. I got a 100Wh battery pack charged up at all times for a quick jump/quick charge if I ever need it, but I haven't had to use it yet. It's also capable of charging at like 25 watts via Type C, but no need for it, yet. Don't sleep on Car Audio indoors, shit slaps and is a ton of fun, even more fun not having to worry about gas prices and fuel consumption just to get the boom boom on.

I got a dumb question but maybe someone can answer it for me. What do you do when your amp takes a bigger gauge wire than your power supply? For an example your amp can take 0 gauge but your power supply can only take up to 4 gauge. Would you just use 4 gauge wire to wire the power supply to the amp or is there some sort of adapter that you would connect to the power supplys terminals?

I didn’t notice any new video when you opened the box and I cannot seem to find that has 120 A without the battery terminal cables. Could you direct me on how to get there because I went on the link you posted on your video and it’s not in Paramax.
Is the power supply stable enough to run a system at high volumes or would it be better to add a car battery and have the power supply act as the "alternator" to keep the battery charged up?
So if I use the inverter do I need a specific amount of voltage from my house power outlet? For example in cars your electrical usually it’s better to have a higher amp alt and 2 batteries for power. I was wondering what would be the side effect of this?
That should be good enough to power a 1500 watts amp, I'm personally using a Dell server psu @ 62amps which is good to power up to 750watt amp. Thanks a plenty for video
Could I connect a sealed AGM (so it isn't leaking in my house) directly to this power supply their website says they have a smart battery charging system. Does that mean I could seamlessly add an AGM as a power buffer? I know you can also add a capacitor. But an AGM added to my car setup was unbelievable. It pushes a few thousand watt system fill tilt with the car off without any dimming. It's kind of incredible. So I wonder if it could help my home electrical to add an AGM to this. For reference I'm looking to run a taramps smart 3 bass at 0.5 ohms. I know this 120 amp supply may not be enough. But also, I'm thinking my home electrical may not be enough. Because after 1 to 2 thousand watts, lights start dimming. It just doesn't seem to me that I could get a clean 3 to 7 thousand watts from a regular home outlet/breaker. Am I wrong? I know I could check this to see what I have in my house. I will before I pull the trigger I'm just in the planning stages and I'm wondering if an AGM or two may be the way to go. I eventually want a clean 5 to 8k watts on the entire system. It'll have something around the lines of four 12s or four 15 inch drivers. And likely a few DS18 on the mids, likely some ds18 super tweeters. I want to keep the whole setup car audio, for the novelty of it. Right now I just have an Amazon power supply I got for like 60 bucks. It claims it can provide a thousand watts, but I doubt that.
I want to build a huge system and use youtube from my phone only as a receiver also I want use a 6 channel to cover all my speakers. Can it be done and can you make a video also on how to etc.
Does it sound good indoors even though its meant for a car?? I am trying to figure out what type of subwoofer I should buy but everything on amazon is for cars. I am wanting a 15" 1500watt sub for my home, for music and movies, I just want loud bass and I have a 1500 watt studio amp four ohm bridge 1500 watt. Could you pls help me out here
I use my mind rite for psu but I’m going to upgrade soon to same ampere you have 120amp my psu rite doing great lokey for me if I play some deferent music I still can make my garage vibrating
How do i know how many volts of a power supply i need? Like im trying to get an 800 watt woofer so how many volts should the power supply be? Thanks for your time if you do read this.
I've got a question for you ; so I live off grid an I got a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and amp an I'm curious if I can hook it up to a car battery as a power supply which will be connected to a solar panel. Then have car speakers mounted an a car head unit to connect Bluetooth to my phone. Is that possible? What would I need to connect the components? Yes, may seem like a juvenile question, but I haven't had much experience with car audio so I'm asking.

@@blazedlegend top secret? 🤣😂😂😂😂😂. I watched one video on another channel and I never saw anything else running it and so I was just wondering what else you got, is it like an extra battery or something? But idk, I may only run 1200 watt total, my neighbor is literally so close to me lol.

Headunit: Pioneer MVH-21BT (22w RMS/channel)
Battery: Nationwide 115 RC/800 CCA
Charger: 15a Battery Charger
Speakers: 2x Scosche 6x9, 75w RMS. Need 2 more but my Walmart can't seem to stock them. They actually put out, impressed for $37/pair.
Subwoofer: Gothic 12" DVC 4ohm
Enclosure: Skar AR12x1
Amp: Kicker CXA400.1
Wired to 2 ohm since only 1 sub, Kicker is rated at 300w RMS at 2 ohms but Kicker always underrates, probably getting more around 350w RMS.

Thats an insane hookup bro, the 13.5 w7's...umm best ever hands down
Only a sub is hooked up. What about mids and tweeters? Do you just connect them to the amp?
This was only a demonstration video... check out my other vids to see my real setup

So do you just plug in the power supply to the wall?

hey bro I honestly don’t know much about subwoofers and wiring, could you please help out? I’m getting a sundown 12x v3 soon and need help on choosing an amp and gauge wiring for the sub any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Down4sound.com has a saz 1500 rms for sale
And I’m guessing around 8-12 gauge wire

you can also use a original xbox 360 power adapter if you splice the end it works great
Can you use this for everything at once or just the amp/sub?
wondering the same thing
In another video I saw you used a battery. Do you have to use a battery or can u just use a power supply, and what combo speaker/amp. And if can you just plug the rcas in the back of a receiver and plug in more speakers? I’m new to this stuff, lol
Hey man love the video, I have one issue. There’s this weird buzzing / humming sound and idk how to get rid of it. What do I do?
Yeah I had experienced that too.. it’s because your receiver only has a positive output, contact me on Instagram dc4.geo I’ll guide you how to fix it
Have you figured it out? What’s your socials?
i was doin this in the early 90s trying to get bass in my room as a kidbut power suplies that could run a decent amp were expensive back then and as a kid in middle school
does the subwoofer ohm matter? my sub can be 4 or 8 the amp i think was designed for 4, thank you for your help
Do you still have this power supply? How much money 💰? They are from $219 to $ 239 I seen. Are they easy to adjust voltage? What volts did you adjust too? 13-15 volt? Thanks for the video!
Yes I have 2 of them! And yes very easy to adjust voltage, I wouldn’t go over 14.7
Thanks for the reply! I just ordered this same one and hope to learn how to make adjustments. Do you have a setting on the side like numbers or do you have to guess or use a volt meter? can you still hook up subs and an amplifier in a car without the power battery box thing ?
Yes. The power battery box thing is a power supply which is what the car battery essentially is.
@@revaxiz5643 just use 4
Hey bro.. can you make video on how to connect a capacitor with the power supply?
What type of screws do you use to connect the speaker wires to the amp?
Stetsem and taramps make much higher power amperage and great quaility power supplys and are adjustable and u can run 14.4 ir higher amperage.
most important part that he forgot to include was, which or what or how do we get that rca to iphone adaptor ive been trying to figure this put for days straight if you see this please respond
Tip: For a cheaper way just get a xbox cable and just slice the wires and it will only cost 22.99 unless prices gose up it will help power the amp
adding cap helps if you use more juice than your psu can output, cant recommend adding battery indoors
I use a cap for my real setup, and you can use batteries... AGM of course

just ordered a powermax converter to power my car subs and amp indoors. thanks for the helpful video. appreciate it. the one i ordered is 100 amps. will that be good to power two alpine type r subs they are 500 watt rms each i believe. or rather will my car amp get enough power to supply the subs?
You’re set 💯
How’d it go?
could you use a 1200 amp in your house for a great speaker systeym?
Did the power converter that you got? Did they come with the battery cable . I didn’t notice any new video when you opened the box and I cannot seem to find that has 120 A without the battery terminal cables. Could you direct me on how to get there because I went on the link you posted on your video and it’s not in Paramax.
would you want to install a fuse holder in the power wire between the amp and the powermax like you would between an amp and the car battery?
Is the power supply stable enough to run a system at high volumes or would it be better to add a car battery and have the power supply act as the "alternator" to keep the battery charged up?
You’ll be set with just the supply trust
So if I use the inverter do I need a specific amount of voltage from my house power outlet? For example in cars your electrical usually it’s better to have a higher amp alt and 2 batteries for power. I was wondering what would be the side effect of this?
Really thinking bout doing a setup in the house but got a budget but pretty sure I could pull it off
Thankyou bruh I been looking for 20 mins
Where'd you score that bad ass Amp?
What happens to your old power supply power max 75amp
So I can just buy the power supply that you got connect it to the wall or? L seems so simple and what the amp wattage I should use what's the max?
Yeah plug it in
what power supply would i need to run a 1250 watt amp ?
Why do I need to connect the remote wire from the 12 volt input to the rem input?
So the amp can turn on, this only if your using a power supply... if a battery is in line then you do the same thing but have a switch connected
That should be good enough to power a 1500 watts amp, I'm personally using a Dell server psu @ 62amps which is good to power up to 750watt amp. Thanks a plenty for video
Yo what's up brother is there a similar way to hook it up for your TV to watch movies
Is the 100 amp a big drop from the 120? 120 amps are hard to find and I don't wanna drop $260 on a power supply.
What a bout hooking up the cross overs and preamp?
Does it sound good indoors even though its meant for a car?? I am trying to figure out what type of subwoofer I should buy but everything on amazon is for cars. I am wanting a 15" 1500watt sub for my home, for music and movies, I just want loud bass and I have a 1500 watt studio amp four ohm bridge 1500 watt. Could you pls help me out here

So about a 60 amp
How do i know how many volts of a power supply i need? Like im trying to get an 800 watt woofer so how many volts should the power supply be? Thanks for your time if you do read this.
Can you run RCA s off your tv into the amp since the TV is AC powered will that effect the amp signal since it is DC powered.
I have a question I going to buy a amplifier but I’m wondering do I need to buy a power supply for it
I've got a question for you ; so I live off grid an I got a Rockford Fosgate subwoofer and amp an I'm curious if I can hook it up to a car battery as a power supply which will be connected to a solar panel. Then have car speakers mounted an a car head unit to connect Bluetooth to my phone. Is that possible? What would I need to connect the components? Yes, may seem like a juvenile question, but I haven't had much experience with car audio so I'm asking.
Can you post links for the sub you have and wires etc?
