I've been super excited to upload this video -- I've had the song done for ages but never got a chance to work on it after that! The video was done by my amazing boyfriend, I'm really happy to see it complete c:

Btw, the tuning may be your style, but I feel like the tuning and mastering could be far more powerful to fully grasp the meaning and music.

it's super good! My only critique I feel hasn't been directly addressed here yet was GUMI's overall volume- you can barely hear her in the chorus. while that can be done for artistic effect, I feel here it just detracts. She should be prettttty loud.

I really like the way the whole song is so quiet and laidback (especially the chorus) whilst the topic is much darker. It gives off an eerie feeling of relaxation yet still manages to feel the stress that’s described in the lyrics. Put simply, this is a masterpiece!

Somehow Perspective ended up in my recs again after a few years, and I was really happy to see you uploaded again recently :) (awesome song btw) Tbh I didn't comment for a while on this video because I was a lot more socially awkward even over text then. I still am as you can probably tell by the length of this comment but I digress
I actually ran into this song when I was getting out of a mental hospital. I was in like grade 11 and I was trying to categorize complex world issues into simple boxes of right and wrong. I discussed a lot of philosophy and morals with my brother, but I think that kinda just gave high school me an existential crisis about how horrible the world is. Obviously, the black and white thinking wasn't working, hence the breakdowns, but it was all I knew.
When I first heard this song, I remember feeling especially called out. Usually when I listen to music I associate it with a character or whatever because I don't like being perceived, but this felt almost like the music was staring at me, seeing into my soul, and challenging me. I was just looping Perspective and trying to use it as motivation to leave behind a lot of the cycles of black and white thinking. I suppose listening to the song just kind of put me in the right emotional headspace to look into myself and change.
Today I still care about ethics, but I don't let it consume my entire life anymore. A lot of it was my own work, but a lot of it was changing the influences that media had on me. And I'd like to think that this song was a positive influence, so thanks for that! ^^ So even if your uploads are sparse, please keep creating! 💜Every story is worth sharing because it could help someone else

In all honesty, I don't like this song as much as the previous ones. [long review coming; tl;dr: at the end]
Your motifs have always been fairly straightforward, and I do respect that. Many songwriters seem to think true art is incomprehensible - while there is an appeal in some degree of ambiguity, which leaves the message up to interpretation, it's nice to see songs that doesn't need to rely on obscurity to sound good.
You tend to use simple, common themes - _Gifted_ for envy; _Graduation_ being, well, exactly what it sounds like; _Clockwork_ being more ambiguous than the others, but still quite focused on the story of one relationship; _Rise_ as the well-loved cliche of the underdog embracing themselves, and unlocking their true potential. You show that just because a motif has been used a million times before doesn't mean it can't still be used well, and that cliches are tools, not something to avoid. You take straightforward, age-old ideas and dilemmas and reconstruct them in a singularly oriented song, without needing much extra embellishment. I respect that. it's one of my favorite things about your music.
But I must admit that I have some problems with this particular song. In all honesty, it feels kind of aimless, not quite finished. All your previous songs knew what they were doing. They were focused on a single theme or trend, and pulled it off well, whether it's _Gifted_ lamenting the MC's feelings of jealousy and unfairness or _Rise_ encouraging the outcast to stand up for themselves. But _perspective_ , well, spends most of the song talking about how morals aren't just black and white, and then at the end adds a _single line_ saying that to confront a world of grey areas, we should listen to our conscience, which isn't exactly helpful advice ("you see, to do what's right, you just have to follow what you _think_ is right! betcha didn't think of _that_ !!") - and even it it were, it would make way more sense if you actually spent at least one verse talking about it.
If your message is, "follow your own judgement on morality," you should have spent more time talking about it, since you get really caught up on the whole "not black and white" thing. You could have just stuck with the latter - sure, it's a pretty common theme, and also something people tend to learn by fifth grade, but again, I do think simplicity is part of the appeal of your music. If you're going to do something as significant as propose a solution to, what, all moral dilemmas? - you really need to actually use more than one line talking about. The "so listen to the voice inside you to tell you what's right" line really feels like it was just tacked onto the end haphazardly.
Also, I feel like you get really caught up finding words that rhyme at times, instead of actually focusing on your meaning:

It feels a bit repetitive.
*tl;dr: the straightforwardness of your themes is good, but your last line feels abrupt and out-of-place. your message needs to be more focused, and less repetitive.*
