Yeah, I saw a lot of improvement form you DNF to now. You defiantly put in the time not, only with your training but, evaluating what went wrong and how to improve not only your physical performance but, also your mental performance which is not always easy. Having a good support system form both friends and family go along way; not only with cycling but, also your life outside cycling. Can't wait to see your next post. Cheers!
The location was great for a race like this! I use pathfinder in 38mm with a tire pressure of a bit less the 2 bar. Just got myself a new and wider wheelset so I'm going to try out some 42.
In Randers. Wouldn't really call it a cx race. I would for sure not end up in 3th place if it was😂 I think it was very good training and something that helps me get better at longer races
Equipment reliability is at least 25% of gravel racing so you won there. Being more consistent is more valuable than staying with the leaders, especially in longer races. And the longer the race, the more it’s an eating contest to stay fueled and hydrated
Kørte med pathfinder i 38mm. Har netop fået et hjulsæt som bedre kan håndtere bredere dæk, så glæder mig rigtig meget til at teste et setup med bredere dæk.
@@gravelracingwithmadsbang nu skal du selvfølgelig ikke bare stole blindt på alle tosser på nettet, men tør næsten godt lægge hovedet på blokken og påstå at du havde hængt de sidste procenter på med et continental speed eller trail dæk på asfalten 🙂
@@gravelracingwithmadsbang jeg har kørt med begge 2 sæsoner. Tror ikke du finder hurtigere dæk end terra speed, men endte ud med trail dels pga greb, men primært pga speed versionen hurtigt slides ned. Har kørt med pathfinder på min diverge, den var født med dem. Jeg synes de var træge at træde. Dog punkterede de ikke en eneste gang. Har smidt et sæt Michelin Power gravel på i år for at teste 47mm dæk, og mangler allerede nu lidt topfart, men fik så omvendt er komfort boost jeg manglede på de smallere dæk. Men vil som sagt continental hvis du gerne vil presse lidt ekstra fart ud af din cykel er mit tip. Ikke at du mangler fart 💪🙂
