I'm not sure which school to go to, especially going into hair not knowing a single thing about it cosmetics wise. Would you say it's worth it? (In Texas also)
It's way more than 7k & it's not about what you learn. You are paying for the certificate, which you need to have to get licensed. It's also about making connections so you can get a decent job and getting used to all the horrible people you will meet so you learn not to open up to anyone ever. They also help you get used to being taken advantage of and abused by strangers so you will be ready by the time you enter a real salon. 😉 They also teach you not to speak out about unfairness and illegal shit you experience bc it makes them look bad and they people's want money. But this is just something that could happen, I wouldn't know...
