April Fool's! Teacher + students pull off the ultimate prank.

- WARNING! A sense of humor is required for this video.
What happens when half the math class returns from a school trip? Well obviously, they get pranked by the remaining students and their teacher. What else could there be?
Remember that playing gags is an artform. It must be done with love in your heart. This scene taps into a universal fear we all share: the feeling of being completely and utterly lost, while EVERYONE around you totally understands.
Having said that, witnessing half the class slowly lose their marbles is straight-up HILARIOUS.
And, YAY MATH!
Learning should always be fun and connective. Please visit www.yaymath.org for:

I love when the student said, "This is all Chinese to me". I thought the teacher was going to respond, "Actually ... look closely, this is plain English". This is actually a good testiment of how great this teacher is. No student was affraid to ask questions AND almost everyone spoke up asking for clarity. It's a sign of a great teacher who can breed such participation in their classroom.
That coughs to hide the laughter were so hysterical. 😂😂 the students who came back from trip must be thinking how half of the class caught cold that day.

Yousefssking bro i started to understand it
Since when were math theories a thing?
They’re called “theorems”
Theories are only used in science.
All students: "Why?"
Teacher: "It's the slopes"
Students: "Ah, okay"
3 seconds later in all of their minds
"Wait, what does that mean?"

Notice how the slope was negative and yet 4/3 is positive lol

I feel like my math book has personally played this prank on me before.
That’s a good one, Payton 😂
I love how as the teacher goes through and starts to explain stuff, the kids that were in on it and the teacher himself actually started to connect a few dots and started to almost make sense of what they were talking about. There were a few spots where he kind of realized that he was stuck and he was contradicting himself, but there were also spots where he actually fooled himself into believing some of the things could almost make sense.

This is literally how math felt like in high school haha. But I really love the fact that your students weren't scared to ask a million questions and also express they don't "get it." I guess he didn't wanna scare and scar them with unnecessarily showing them how much deeper the rabbit hole goes. He got a couple minor details wrong like the equation for rise over run, but the overall concept of "sum" or sigma in math is still the same. It's used to find the area within a graph curve or can be altered to find the volume of an oddly shaped object. It can be applied in fields such as statistics or probability for protecting the future outlook of a certain industry or product, in architecture, civil and mechanical engineering, rocket science, and the like...
