The WINCH Sessions - Blair Conklin, Tyler Stanland, Perry Pruitt & Johnny Redmond

Blair Conklin, Tyler Stanaland, Perry Pruitt and Johnny Redmond go for round 2 on the ghetto Winch. Much to our surprise nobody got hurt this session but Brad Kuhn AKA "Lawyer Brad" came close when he almost got his head chopped by the rope while shooting the water clips. All clips from land were shot with iPhone 7+ hahaha.... Big thanks to Brad for the water angle!! The board of choice for winching was the all new Catch Surf 54 Special.

Dude I wanna get a catch surf board for primarily surfing super small waves which one is best fit?

If waves are super super small got 6' or 7' Odysea LOG. If there's enough power in the waves to get speed and you want to do some tricks (and have a bit of surfing experience) go with 5' Stump, 5'6" Odysea Skipper or the all new 54 Special like in the vid. Another super fun board for small Surf is definitely the Beater, it's kind of its own thing but real fun. Start on the twin fin version then when you get it down you can run it finless! Hope that helps.

Marley Ordoñez the one is this vid was Johnny Weber’s and I believe it no longer works. It was custom made from a lawnmower engine 😂 I know there is one on the market you can buy called the Grinch 🤙
