I hope he lets folks that as enjoyable as it is to have parrot pets, they need a tremendous amount of care and ongoing, daily attention. They bond deeply, and need to spend quality time with their human friends every day, you need to have lots of extra time to have parrots, and always adopt as there are so many parrots globally up for adoption.

In fact one extraordinary well taken care of and loved Macaw lived to be an amazing 112 years.
