As a neutral it's good to see an Italian team make the playoffs and the Champions Cup. I don't keep tabs on Edinburgh per se, but they had a horror show, error strewn and lack of urgency in defence
Well, well where to start. If thats the best Edinburgh can put out, in the words of a legend "We are doomed" There was a disturbing lack of any quality , any thought, or any desire to win this game. Its time we ended the idea of Healy being the answer at stand off. He is in a different postcode at any breakdown he is so far back. He tuck his shirt in more times than going forward. If this was supposed to be a cup final, i now understand, playing like this how we never get to any. Or attacking system seemed to be try and get Van der Merwe the ball anywhere. No centres to try and attack through. The biggest worry for me is the Coach. If this is how the team plays for him in a game to decide the season he is finished. This is the worst coached team ive ever seen. Drop balls, knock on's, penelties and the worst record when the opposition gets in the red zone. Ive just renewed my season ticket, with a price increase. Now regretting it.
Sean Everett is the worst coach in pro rugby. We endured many years of with him at the Sharks, hated his style of play and selection, he rarely gave young players game time. Unless you were his sons friend, like Murray Koster, then you got all the game time you wanted
A bit of a sloppy game from both teams. Edinburgh looked tired, though, and showed less conviction. They were unable to capitalize on various opportunities that came their way. It seemed like all the luck started to turn Benetton’s way just because they believed in themselves more.
aye, the oaching looks the big problem to me. The way to get through a wall is for everyone to push hard together, no consideration of looking for a door or a way over or even dismantling it.
Plenty of good players but it's obvious the oaching is directing them away from using their imaginations and there is zero innovation in their attack or tactically at all.
At one point on a ball that looked as if it had fallen backwards and was taken in for what would have been a try, he called a knock-on instead of letting the play run and checking the TMO. This was probably his most egregious mistake as it showed a blatant disregard for procedure.

what a tan for Menoncello
we are not even in June
😂😂😂
Well played Benetton, thoroughly deserved the win. Some of the Edinburgh players looked liked they hadn't booked flexible tickets for their holidays.

Apologies for the bad spelling in my rant. I tried hard not to swear.
Unlucky Edinburgh! C’mon Ospreys!

all that prose and not a single word for the opponent, who thoroughly trashed Edinburgh
Grandi ragazzi!
Said it before and ill say it again. Edinburgh just arent a good team. Half those players call themselves internationals? Embarrassing.

@sumboi2321 agreed. I feel sorry for embra fans having to put up with that shite. Almost.
I had to stop watching the live game because of how terrible the ref was. 100 games in and he's useless. A complete lottery for both teams.
