We live in a time where professional rugby is so much bigger, intense and technically advanced that every match seems to have a great moment in it. It is great, however, that we can continue to recognize the great rugby that was played in the past, during the amateur era, that paved the way to the free flowing, spectacular rugby that we now love. The try by Gareth Edwards for the Bah-bahs is the perfect number 1
I know this comment feed will be filled with “but what about…” comments and I did love the list (poor Australia seemed to be the opposition more often than not) but Padovani’s try with the Italian commentary is a moment of true joy. I’m not Italian or Welsh (or Aussie) but watching that moment live made me shoot out my seat more than any other moment for the pure underdog status. Loved reliving these moments though.
Not a bad list. Obviously open to a certain amount of subjectivity, but overall a decent list. Thank you and bless you for not adding music over the top!
Bye man love your videos they inspire me so much. 1 video idea is you could teach how to properly study rugby games and you yourself could analyze rugby games
best rugby era was late 90' for me, the rugby played was fast, open. Power wasn't such as factor. The NX team in 1997 was out of this world, best I've ever seen.
He's been doing this for the better part of the decade! One of my GOATs. He's scored some of the greatest tries I've ever seen. I think he is hugely underappreciated in NZ. From a saffa.

One of the greatest rugby videos of all time. Well done.
That Jacques Fourie try against BIL in 2009 was phenomenal.
Also... Christian Cullen, holy shit that man was special!

The fact the Ireland france game has 2 tries here says it all. One of the best games ever, it had everything.

Superb. From about #20 on it was just pure genius mixed with great memories.
great compilation
Heskeths try vs SA in 2015 has to be here, it led on to history
Beauden Barrett has 3 in this video cements the fact that he's one of the best rugby union players ever

Nah Cullen better
Yeah, can't argue with that.... Beaudy is not bad at all.
best youtube video
Takudzwa Ngwenya deserved to be on this list
Cristian cullen 4 tries. This player was so underated
Agree. Best fullback in the history of the game.
He's generally considered the greatest full back ever so not sure he is underrated!
8:08 look as Lomu throws everyone to the ground
Blanco try for france at Twickenham should be in there. 100m team try.
Phil Bennets try against South Africa 74 lions .The floating side step .....awesome Shame not incuded l😮
Capuozzo + Padovani 2022 6Nations Wales-Italy
Lomu… Ah…AH!
Football aint got **** on this beautifull gmae.
Какая красотища..........
That's a forward there by the inside ball
There's a strong UK bias to these tries. Specifically Ireland.
5th is 1st
It's not.
❤❤
Lol
Do U know rugby? 🤔
At last no bloody crap music
At 7:31 that was a forward pass
All the tries resulting from a simple inter or a;lucky ball bounce should never have made it here.
Not the best trys, but the most legendary ones. Luck is a part of the game
mapimpis try was better than kolbes in the 2019 final tbh
