Cop Questions Guy Without Probable Cause, Claiming Concern and He Dismisses Her

- Cops might have good intentions sometimes. But in some cases, they hide other intent underneath the apparent concern for a person’s well-being. Sometimes they just want to investigate something they consider suspicious. In the process, however, they might end up telling people to straight-up move away from a location, despite doing nothing wrong. Which, if you ask me, is not the way to go about things.

When I was 18 I got into an argument with my mom. I walked out to calm myself down before I said something that couldn’t be walked back. I was sitting on a bench on the main street of our rural farm town. I cop came over to check on me. I didn’t have my wallet or keys with me, and because I said I was in an argument with my mom, and couldn’t prove my age, I was handcuffed and taken to the police station. They wouldn’t let me call home, and interrogated me as to how many times I hit her. Finally an officer walked by who knew my dad, and called him. It is so much fun watching cops get their asses handed to them for violating rights
Something not quite adding up in this story. Why on earth would they think you had hit your mother? Why would they not walk you back to your farmhouse to corroborate your identity? What reason did they give for your arrest? I asked all these questions not to doubt your description of what happened but to help fill in some missing blanks!

Don't blame the police blame the assholes that call them for no good reason.
She was doing her job. Some idiot called and said he was having a mental health crisis.
If it happens to him "quite often" he needs to find out which one of his "friends" are doing this...maybe a crazy ex is calling 🤷
Y'all don't seem to understand. I'd be willing to bet that NO ONE called in a possible "mental health crisis." That's the excuse they use to make contact when there isn't a valid reason for it! That's why people are so fed up!
I blame the police. @@aryksanchez5070
@aryksanchez5070 that statement is part of the problem. You want to only blame the caller, but 1 there isn't always a caller and them saying there was is a way to initiate a stop. And 2, even if somebody called, they should instead by telling that person that they are reporting a non crime, non emergency and that is illegal. At no point should they be trying to interact with someone who doesn't want to talk to them and isn't doing anything illegal.
There's always "someone " who called about "suspicious " activity .
Fishing expedition
"Do you need anything?" How about a donut with my coffee.
She missed the entire point of a person kicking back and enjoying a coffee. Somebody reported him? Another reason to resist the 'Red Flag" law they want to pass.
What I find alarming that she was advising him to drive a car with a cup of hot coffee in his hand instead of drinking it in the stores car park prior to leaving
Exactly. This was on another channel and, while I've not read all the comments here yet, I could not understand how so many people supported the cops! NO!! Mindyaownbizznezz! He said he didn't need anything and she kept on with it. HOW THE DEVIL someone would call about someone being suicidal just sitting outside a COFFEE SHOP and drinking coffee is beyond me!! 'They' are always yammering about 'getting a call' and, people there are pretty damn nosy and in everyone elses' business OR, they just use that as an excuse to harass folks. I am of the mind a whole lot of this business is the excuse to harass.
And if you think thats a red flag bs then you need to go seek some mental health. People like you are a disgrace to people who fight real red flag laws which is something you clearly don't know anything about. Fact is not a single one of you pathetic kids would be batting a eye if some random person not in a uniform came up to the window and started asking the same questions to check up on the person and make sure the person was ok. You kids are only flipping a lid because its a cop this showing your how hateful and pathetic you cop haters are.
@@jameshead9119 Hah! Yeah no one every drives with a to go cup of coffee. Very alarming!
@@jameshead9119You’re picking the fly shit out of the pepper with that one! 😂
So, the cop stated that she will continue to bother him unless he moves his car.
I doubt the cops story.
No, she said if he doesnt want police contacting him he should park elsewhere. Cause if people keep calling the police for a wellness check, they are required to keep doing wellness checks.
And she asked if he needed help, he could of said something like "yea, could you talk to them so they stop calling the police on me. That way i dont get harrased and you dont have to waste time doing wellness checks on me :)" and then this conversation stayed positive and had a nicer outcome.
But if you act like a dick, you get treated like a dick, even though she stayed pretty polite the whole time
@@DiZh0 I was thinking the same lol, half these commenters are apparently expecting police to just ignore reports. They need to respond, and she did so in the nicest way possible.
@@taylatay6961I must be slow today, could someone explain how sitting in your car drinking a coffee is somehow having a mental health crisis?
@@taylatay6961she started out nice, but then the attitude came out with her saying "that's all I'm saying". If she were being nice, she could have said "do you need any help" and he said "leave me alone" then nice would be "ok have a great day". But no, she added her attitude to the situation. It's unnecessary drama and harassing.
@@thatvalensteingirl I'm sure he wasn't just sitting in his car having coffee. He was probably acting oddly enough to make people around him uncomfortable.
"Everywhere I go there's someone concerned about me"
To be fair, that raises flags.
She asked simple question. Just doing her fuckkin job. She was not rude. Very polite. The extra shit "go away, leave me alone is for likes on your youtube channel". Evidently u did something weird to make some one contact emergency responders to check on your well being. So knock it off!!!!!
Had she walked away when he said he didn't need help, that would have been fine. But she didn't. She kept pestering him for no apparent reason. That's a form of harassment.
@@wizardsuthshe had a reason, the people who called her
Cops lie as part of their job. What part of that don't you get?
Her investigation ended with the first response the dude gave her. At that point, she should have walked away. Everything after that point was harassment!
@korbin4510 police lie all the time. It is one of their main tools, suppose to work in getting criminals to crack.
Sadly police use lying all too frequently on unconstitutional fishing expeditions like this when there is no crime, no criminal, and no victim except their tyrannical arrogance and pride.
It is asserted that he audits the police and embarrasses them when they abuse their power so they harass him like this.
He should have asked her for her phone number. That would have made her run for the hills.
Exactly my thouths. If anyone asks if you feel ok, and THEN ask if you need anything, throw some rizz and start flirting. Definetly better way than being rude to police officer trying to do her job.
Exactly,, flirt with her dumbass
@@TrueMeKazik She was lying and snooping.
Or he should've handed her his number and say "I'm assuming this is what you wanted."
@@luelee6168 Make sure its a fake number, otherwise they now know who you are
It doesn't matter where you are parked. Why do they always say someone called. Who is someone. They like to treat everyone like they can control you
I know, they are f.o.s. Nobody called the pigs and reported this innocent citizen.
Well, maybe you’re too stupid to know this, but they are not required to give you the name of the person who called nor are they legally able to stupid remark
Fr they just say someone called so they have “probable cause” to harass you.
The someone was him dummy. Cops just don’t show up walk up to his car while he is recording for the fun of it . This guy has to make a video for people like you .
That’s it , it’s just that simple.
People call about stupid and/or petty shit all the time. Police get dispatched they have to go, even if it is to just subsequently explain there is nothing they can do.
Imagine someone with mental help actually needing the help in this same scenario :/
“Do you need anything?” I could think of something
He’s luckier than most Aurora citizens who cops confronts.
I didn't know Colorado had to that bad. Dam the last 5 or 10 years they've been consistently in he news
This wasn't Aurora IL? It wouldn't surprise me if this was Aurora IL. Police in North Aurora and Aurora IL are terrible
Colorado no longer has diplomatic immunity so its sue haven now
@@LewKos553qualified immunity . Hell yes.
Facts. Always amazed me how different departments were in the metro area. Denver has its issues, but Aurora is so frigging bad. Adams county is bad but Arapahoe Sheriff's dept is professional. Just goes to show it's not the area, it's the departments culture.
Who ever making calls just so the police can harass people should be fined.
Yeah, nobody called. It is an excuse/lie they use CONSTANTLY to justify whatever they are doing at any given time. It is ridiculous and stupid.
No they get calls all the time for this type of shit trust me I've heard it and have seen it someone once called the police on someone because they threw a cig onto the road and made it seem like the person was just throwing trash on the high way or something when the police got there did their investigation got pissed and immediately went to the person and pretty much told them you ever use the emergency services for something like this ever again we will arrest your ass. One time someone called the police cuz a person had a gun, the cops were told the person was just shooting it off in random direction so of course when the cops got there they were expecting like a shoot out or something just to find out no just a regular person walking the street didn't even have a gun.....the initial cop went to the person and laid into her ass saying we could of shot someone and that would of been on you because of your bullshit. @@satbobsmith7261
@@fictitiousnightmaresfalse
Total fishing expedition. You can never call them on it. "it was an anonymous call".
That is a crime.... false police report, its a misdemeanor in most states if im correct. The only problem is the victim has to know who falsified the report and most likely has to take them to court. #fuckthesystem🇺🇸💯
As someone who has been in a mental health crisis in my car, I would have also said I was fine, but actually been on the edge of suicide. Just sayin
That Santa Claus’s ho ho ho was on point
“…because we really care about people in THIS parking lot. If you park across the street, we won’t care so much.”
Did she approach and harrass every other coffee drinker in that lot as well.
No only the person who was acting mental so that member of rhe public rang the cops.
@@Bran_Redmawdidn't know sitting in your car enjoying your coffee was considered "acting mental."
@@ThePhilosophicalOne I'm sure they were just stopping everyone drinking coffee in their car. Or maybe they got a call. The nutter probably called them himself for the likes 👍
@@ThePhilosophicalOnehe literally says everywhere he goes someone is concerned. Stop acting like a weirdo to get attention and no body gives a fuck what you do
@ThePhilosophicalOne has to be more to it. He admitted that it happened to him "everywhere"
The police officer actually acted appropriately and handled it well. If there are concerned citizens making reports, they need to investigate. We know too little to make further comments.
The guy was being rude by saying. "Please leave me alone, etc." Just ask, "Can I help you with something ?" If she says no, then just respond, "All right, take care be safe." The same thing happened to me once, I was polite and it ended with no incident. That's how I responded, and there was no negative interaction nor incident. Be smart, polite and safe.
"This is private property. Do you have a say, without the owner contacting you for a complaint, as to who should or should not be here?"
She was fishing so hard lol 😂
They always roll up on you appearing friendly...😏
If he was having a mental health crisis the last thing he needs is that cop right there trying to press him on public .
I would be concerned myself if I see someone park his vehicle behind other cars. She'd conducted herself in a fair and professional manner. Nowadays social media seems to be used to attack the integrity of the police force. Please be fair to them as they are human beings too. Frankly I'm not a cop myself.
You are concerned because a vehicle is parked in a public parking lot? How does that even make any sense whatsoever?
This cop did zero things wrong and violated zero rights. We don’t know who called the cops or why. She was as polite as she could be and he was a jerk to her for no good reason.
*Lol why must he go park somewhere else when he has every right to be there being a customer at that very store/business.. If so then they should've posted a sign where it says customers are requested to leave the premises right away once being attended to or served.. Like they shouldn't even have a parking lot there, why they have that space for customers to park in there when they are being harassed to leave and not stay any longer over there smh.. And also this cop should learn to ask questions as to why someone is parked there, have they had any interactions with that particular business for them to be parked in their parking lot instead of giving orders and violating the rights of em fellow customers..* 🙄
