I had a 3600X and a 6950XT. My game would normally be at about 60-70fps except on certain tracks where it would drop to about 40fps. I recently upgraded to a 5900X with the same GPU and my god what an upgrade. It runs consistently above 100fps usually locking well with my 120-144hz vsync window.
The key to get this game working smoothly is to change your desktop refresh rate to 60hz. THe game amazinly runs perfect. no stuttering and locked 60fps
Overclock your ram. I had 7fps avg gain going from 2400 to 2733. A new kit of 3200 ram is on the way. There is still some life left in this cpu i think, haha !
I have a strange problem. When I set the settings to High, RT OFF, DLSS OFF, in the first few minutes the game runs at a very acceptable frame rate, at 60 fps, at 2560x1080 (21:9) resolution. But if I keep playing for a few minutes, it seems like the game gets heavier and heavier, even without changing the graphics settings. the frame rate starts to drop to around 40-50 fps. Had the problem with release in FM5 too, luckily not in motorsport. Test the optimized settings which you can see at the end of the video with resolution scale 100 and dynamic render quality on high. if that doesn't work set dynamic render quality to medium. I've been playing on these settings for the last 10 hours in 1440p without any problems. Hope that helps
Hi! That happened to me in FH5, but with some updates of Game and Drivers, that was fixed. Also i recommend you to turn off Xbox game bar and other "recording" software's like the Nvidia one. To some friends, that improved performance, and specially reduce drastically the posible stuttering.
Also, when you change any setting of graphics, restart the game. Doesn't matter that the game don't tell you to do that, but it's not working fine. In my case, i turned off the DLSS, but, it still enabled (i noticed very clear)
@@TGGiant Have tried the game yesterday after months again. Looks blurry for me too unfortunately. Seems like they ruined something in one of the latest patches.
Do you think I can make this game run stable 60fps+ on 1440p ultra wide, no RT and minimal settings lowered? I am impressed at your fps @02:20 My specs 2070 Super AMD 5800x 16gb RAM
Hey Mate, sorry for the late reply. I can't tell you exactly whether you can achieve 60 FPS with widescreen. The cheapest method would be to either buy the game on Steam and return it if it doesn't run properly. For this you cannot exceed 2 hours of play. or you get the PC Game Pass for €10 and can test it for a month and then simply buy it in the sale afterwards. or you can also wait for the Steam Halloween Sale (October 26th) or the autumn Sale (November 21st).
in this case I think it's due to the predefined benchmark. But ingame the AI is also very strange. You often have the feeling that their only mission is to murder you

Tried it and it works great. Thanks for the tip
I tried this and my game run smooth now. Thank you.
It's time to drop a Ryzen 5000 series CPU into that build.
you're probably right about that😂

My problem is no matter the settings I use its always looks blurry as f*ck
Try to set the resolution scale to 100% and disable motion blur. Turn off DLSS and maybe try the dlaa setting.
@@phKeZ the only thing I haven't tried is dlaa. I'll give it a go later!

Wtf is wrong with the KI cars. They turn in so abrupt. Looks completely unrealistic and strange
