How to take care of your handloom in 2020 - Saree care
Friends all of us have an amazing collection of handloom handcrafted and khadi textiles which are valuable due to various reasons. Some of them are so beautiful and rare that they can't even be reproduced today.
I want to talk about how to take care of these collections just one or two issues. I'll discuss some other issues later. Emotionally one is connected with one's mother saree, grandmothers wedding outfit or your own wedding ghagras choli.
It's summer and it's time to air these textiles and expose them to morning sunlight or evening sunlight for about 20 minutes. Please change their folds this will ensure many
different viral and bacterial infection which can be avoided.
Kindly ensure silica gel which is available at most chemists put it in a potly and place it near the heritage textiles. Please ensure the potly is kept near the textiles not touching. Please take care of your collection as they are national cat heritage and may be world heritage.
