@@davidrivera2906 I have the toys as well. Regardless... he was classified as TM2 in the packaging same with TM2 dragon Megatron which also was a triple changer. Fuzors were half-transmetal protoforms in stasispods that got struck by the quantum surge to which it damaged their pod's lifeform scanners and mutated their beastform. Totally two different categories of mutation.
@@jonzi he is still considered a fuzor transmetal. His and air razors spark were fuzed with the alien. They to the 2 form of tiger and hawk and fuzed them. The Japanese considered this a transmetal fuzor. It honestly doesn't take much to see the fuzor aspect. Two animals put together. Many of the characters in the Japanese beast wars shows were revealed as fuzors. Manteror and iguanus became a fuzor. Many of the toys were from the Japanese show.
The reason why Tigerhawk was killed off in the final episode was because his original Beast Wars toy got canceled, which is really stupid, in my opinion.
I think some of the hollowness of the wings isn't that bad as there is still moulding/textured/shaping. Much better than what happened with the gaming line - as much as I loved those games, they seem half done
We need beast wars quickstrike, depthcharge, rampage, and T2 dinobot and hopefully the rest of the transmetals and T2 characters. I'd like to see scorpinok's and terorsaur's transmetal forms too. Both were glowing as if they would have had transmetal forms in the show, if they wouldn't have died in the lava.
There's really no excuse why the wrists weren't on ball joints instead of hinges. As for the legs. In the show, the rear legs are beefier than either of the figures he's had, but due to transformation you can see why they have to be skinnier. Biggest issue I have with the figure are the front legs. They look too small for the figure in robot mode. It's like parts from the waste done were for a figure 20% smaller than the torso up is. At the very least, the legs should be longer. Proportions wise, the original did this better. Would be nice if DNA came out with an upgrade kit with longer leg parts, larger cod piece, and gap fillers, although it would probably cost as much as the figure does.
the codpiece is attached to his navel instead of his waist, that's why it doesn't dangle down far enough. it also doesn't extend back in beast mode at all, so there's no excuse. I don't think this engineer knows what a tail is.

I still have mine. This one is a pale shadow- nothing spring loaded, no moving tongue in the tigers face, the cannons don't combine... I confess I was hoping for a bit more like the original.
Bro you ain't lying original was a fuzor transmetal triple changer. With firing missiles and awesome engineering the only gripe I had with it was the mask got chipped but my mom took some clear nail polish and problem solved !!!

Got this guy on sale and he’s been fun to play with. His biggest downside for me are the weak back legs. They collapse and spread apart way too easily.
So amazing! He definitely has the feel of his Beast Wars counterpart but the extra articulation certainly adds to his appeal! I have not displayed him or Megatron yet.. I love your fight scene dioramas! The web was an awesome touch..
The cost cuts are everywhere and are very visible. Am I disappointed? Yes. Am I still super excited for this figure and willing to pay full price. Abso-bloody-lutely!
Every time @PrimeVsPrime say's 55$ for a Leader Class, it makes me jealous for the payment differences, because here in Puerto Rico, a Leader Class costs 80$, the Voyages 50$ and the Deluxe 27$, without counting the taxes, which is hell overpriced 😞

However, with Hasbro signing most of their transformers (power rangers/GI joe) license to Mcfarlane... makes me wonder if we will even get a continuation after silverbolts release. :( Not gonna lie though, I will not be missing the current "animal" sculptor at hasbro. They CANNOT get anything cat, or catlike, right at all. 😂 Tigertrons head for beast kingdom was the most decent theyve gotten. If they could have made the Tiger face on Tigerhawk just a little fatter in the snout, it would have look decently close to the animation model.

I bought it last week and I was surprised how big it is. The only issue I have is his front legs. They're not symetrical. But, in general a good addition for my collection

If you think his conversion was a pain then try transforming the original one when it came out before Beast Wars went off the air. The transformation is simliar but also they've given it some modern improvements. Hoping to see what they do for the transmetal from season 2 if they even bother with it.
It's one of my favorite beast wars figures from the original line. This is gorgeous, but being a leader class the gaps are unforgivable. Then the popping out pistons and no wrist rotation come on......those things are very disappointing. Then the head articulation nonablility to look up wow....I really am hoping DNA makes a major upgrade kit, not just the fillers on the wings and guns but maybe replacement hands with at least rotation. idk.
I really hope we get an updated Razorclaw out of this. Really need him for my Heralds of Unicron display cuz the original copy is expensive AF nowadays

Some issues with the hollowness. But in hand really worth full price. Hefty, accurate and scales awesome with TM2 Megs. All in all the beast wars characters have been amazing. If are a beast wars fan, definitely an immediate pick up.

This is one of those figures where I'd try to leave him half-transformed, display him as some John Carpenter's "The-Thing-A-Tron" with all of the limbs extended. The Transformation looks messy but fun, and I like the accessories, probably going to wait to see how they handle Silverbolt before I decide to buy or not. I feel like they'd not be able to pull off a show-accurate Silverbolt but would love to be proven wrong.
Wow your Tigatron has yellowed so much. Mine is still pristine white and so glad for that because he's one of my favorite characters. Tigerhawk figure is nice but too many cut corners for me to want to pick up. Oh well, I'm looking forward to Silverbolt.
Not a fan of some of cost cutting measures like hollowed parts/weaponry especially at a Leader scale. Also no excuse not to have Hand rotation. Transformation for this guy is super involved compared to a lot of modern day leaders. Height though is good, and both modes look impressively formidable. Really like the detail on the head sculpt with all of the individually molded teeth, and paint. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on Animated Prime as he's really the only one I'm on the fence about.
this guy looks great, i am genuinely excited for this figure. his wrists angle back for holding swords/blades, silverbolt should have wrists like that but he doesnt, he has swivel wrists which will be lame since he used bladed feathers
The fact they couldn’t even give him a proper set of wrists after the original didn’t even have poseable wrists either is just…I dunno I’m debating cancelling my preorder. I don’t even see how DNA Designs can make wrists without just making entirely new arms since everything seems to be pinned from the shoulder down.
yeah i agree they are way too tiny and skinny even the original figure had a bit bigger hind legs but they were springloaded and mine were busted over the years
Last time I've seen such crazy transformation it was Kingdom Rodimus. $55? Where? I'd buy without hesitation - for me it's more like $80+ That Tigatron yellowed horribly. Are you sure you store your figures correctly? I live in mild climate (sure, winters up to -20*C, summers up to 30*C, damp springs and autumns...), have him on display since I bought him - no signs of yellowing...
I had & still hav the original. Your gripes may be or maybe not valid. This is definitely an updated figure with a similar transformation. Updated, yes… better, well uh… it fits as far as an update. And I’m willing to bet that this plastic isn’t as durable.

his wrists angle back for holding swords/blades, silverbolt should have wrists like that but he doesnt, he has swivel wrists which will be lame since he used bladed feathers
The fact they couldn’t even give him a proper set of wrists after the original didn’t even have poseable wrists either is just…I dunno I’m debating cancelling my preorder. I don’t even see how DNA Designs can make wrists without just making entirely new arms since everything seems to be pinned from the shoulder down.

tbh i think it is a kinda decent modern take of the 90s figure but his legs are kinda tiny compare to his massive torso
I thought this too but it’s an illusion made by the hip skirt, the proportions aren’t too bad. It’s really just the beast legs which are way off
yeah i agree they are way too tiny and skinny even the original figure had a bit bigger hind legs but they were springloaded and mine were busted over the years
And now I’m canceling my preorder until a price drop

That Tigatron yellowed horribly. Are you sure you store your figures correctly? I live in mild climate (sure, winters up to -20*C, summers up to 30*C, damp springs and autumns...), have him on display since I bought him - no signs of yellowing...

I had & still hav the original. Your gripes may be or maybe not valid. This is definitely an updated figure with a similar transformation. Updated, yes… better, well uh… it fits as far as an update. And I’m willing to bet that this plastic isn’t as durable.
