Great reaction. What I love about this song, is it could translate over styles of music. It could easily be done as a finale to a Broadway Musical with a full orchestra from the 1930's or 40's. I have to see them live.
Any Lovebites song live is so much better cause of the vibes and professionalism those ladies have. They became my favorite band to listen to everyday, first time that has happened since i found Twisted Sisters in 1980 with bootleg cassettes i can say that.
Incredible song. How they take a song about such a dark and awful subject (Hiroshima bombing) and turn it into this uplifting anthem is simply amazing. This song is way underrated and doesn't get the recommendations like some of their heavier ones (guilty of this here) but god damn it's one of their best. They're not just great players with a great singer, they are master songwriters and composers and even better live performers. And this being the final encore song (from their Daughters of the Dawn 2019 concert bluray - buy it ASAP) yet they still brought this level of energy and emotion to it. Love this band. Wait til you hear their heavy shit.
Rising by Lovebites will always be my favourite track but the ladies are building a superb catalogue of music. Easy on the eye but, more importantly, tight live and they have metal running through their hearts 🤘 They can't go wrong.

Exactly correct. I like Band Maid, enjoy listening to them, recognize their remarkable talent, but Love Bites is in class by themselves. Love Bites is a true Super Band, one of greatest of all time. I'm 71, so my musical experience spans back to early 1960s, not just "80s. You're so right on''.
Awesome possum pick and choose from any of their live shows, with the exception of bloodstock, wacken live, Daughters of the Dawn, Five of a kind are your best bet and be ready to be blown away. Shredtastic Fantastic indeed!, Midori (blonde) plays lead over the majority of this song. With a syncopated prog break, melancholy slide break, which is over and eastern theme that was first featured one another of their songs (Hammer of Wrath), Miyako’s solo foreshadowing the choir ending, and the music matching the lyrics on emotional jerks from bomb blast in sight, to hope, which is a lyric sequel to another of their songs (Apocalypse). Then you learn that their friend Mao wrote the music on a challenge from Miyako to start with a Rachmaninov theme; she wrote separately from the same theme, both songs made the cut for the 4-song EP. I guess it’s technically a deep cut, but my fav. When Destinies Align however is possibly their quintessential studio song, stylistically right in the middle of their heartfelt rock party rock symphonic thrash speedy powermetal, Even as the thirty-somethingth song they’d written (in only 30 months), before getting lyrics it was briefly named Lovebites. But live, I’m looking for the flash n thrash 🤘🎸💃🏻😉😎

Yeah mate they've got that effect on the crowd. If you got chance to see them live don't waste your time, just go. I know by my self i sow them twice in UK and Wacken Germany 2018 and 2019. Now keep going next time have a look their performances at Zepp Diversity Tokyo the live show Five of kind from this year. Start with Thunder vengeance the open show song, then Rise some hell, Signs of deliverance, Swan song, Holy war, Dancing with the devil. Also the quality of the video is much better. I can't remember did i say in my previous comment they are the winners of 2018 year in category for best new metal band. And this year Lovebites are nominated again the last album Electric pentagram is nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. Stay safe and stay metal.

You are forgiven for Livebites, I livebite for Lovebites :D Midori (the one on the left) is often compared to Yngwie Malmsteen, while Miyako (on the right) to Gary Moore. She also is their main songwriter with 7 out of 10 songs, where the rest is divided between Midori, Haruna and Miho (bassist) she is so underrated, need more of her. Asami (singer) does most of the lyrics with their producer Mao. Haruna (the drummer) is I believe 4'8"? Not sure, but she is the energizer bunny. Miyako is also classical pianist which you can for sure hear in their songs. She took up guitar at age of 19 and already after three years she was playing for bands and whatnot. Their transitions are perfection and the little nuances (so to speak) they put in their songs is spectacular. Unlike many bands these days they do not overdo anything, aside for putting to shame most of guitarist and drummers when they start shredding or playing in general.
This song like an anthem, pretty good to close the concert(along with we the united). Unfortunally, this song not played at Five Of A Kind concert .. but still great setlist. Holy War for the next reaction is good idea :D

I just realized something that I've never noticed before: when they're doing their curtain call, and Haruna comes out, she's ALSO WEARING HIGH HEELS! She was playing the drums ... in HEELS! H-h-hoowwwwwwww? OMG! It's impressive enough that all the others are strutting around the stage playing at their level in heels ... but drums???? That's a whole several more degrees of difficulty!
With high heels almost 2 hours power double drums ? That is not feasible. No, no. She has red sports shoes on during the concert. If you watch the whole concert video, you can see it several times. She then quickly changes shoes to move forward to the presentation. You can also see how insecure she is wading around.
The only thing i want to change in lovebites is their dress, i dont have a problem with white colour... But please make that colour looks more suit for metal music, give them good clothes designer
