This has to be the worst reaction I've seen not only about Linkin Park, but as the music analysis videos genre as a whole. It's not even about liking the song or not, but the 5 minutes of a paralysed disgust face, no pausing, no commenting and then 1 minute of a bland, vague, baseless commentary, with no further explanation of why, which actually is the exact reason people are here instead of just listening to the official video (what they should've done). Then doubling down bashing the commenters that they were "trying their best to like the song" while asking for respect of his opinion and tripling down being passive-aggressive in some replies. What a childish and ridiculous behaviour for someone that claims to be a "Metal Journalist". Next time just upload the video with a Subway Surfers gameplay instead of your camera, at least it'll have something to add to the clip. Ffs, so many excellent analysts having their videos taken down by WMG and this one doesn't.

This band comes back after 7 years and releases this banger of a track that literally sounds like something off of Hybrid Theory, a sound people have been wanting for the past nearly 20 years, and yet some individuals like this guy still have the audacity to try to find something to complain and bitch about. I have listened to them all, and while I love Lanternlight, The Weave is absolutely astonishing - in my view, the best song on this album and in the top 3 Nightwish songs of all time. This is the sort of song Nightwish needs Floor for - I am sorry for Tarja fans - Tarja could not pull this song off.

Been a maiden fan since the early 80,s and this is absolutely brilliant. Love this band.

You need to re-watch that while paying attention to the video... while you were dancing and not looking at the screen you missed a great scene of one of the guys playing the "drums" - 3 girls bending over so he could drum on their butts.

Did not expect this kind of reaction and I have a totally different opinion on this song But those comments are crazy af.. It's totally normal when someone say that he did not like a song or band, band members, people.. in a decent way, of course. People obviously don't understand that "not like" ≠ "hateing". Anyway, hope that you will like the rest of the album more ;)

I agree with you. The lyrics are ok but the music doesn't feel right like something is missing. Maybe it's the tempo or it just meant to be mediocre music you've heard thousands of times on thousands of others groups albums. Nothing sticking out really. So not my favourite so far. 🤓🇸🇪

Excellent reaction as usual. You summed up everything I like about this song perfectly. It’s got the signature big epic sound, combining an orchestra and rock instruments which I love. As for Floor, there aren’t many vocalists that could hit the notes she sang at the end of the song with such power. Up there with The Weave as my favourite on the album.

I think a lot of people won't admit that this is better than most old LP records, because they can't admit that Emily is killing it. "Give me Meteora! Give me Hybrid theory!!" Band does that, reviewers - "Yeah, I'm still not sure." lol

JFC what an L take....this is straight up Hybrid Theory vibes. Its literally One Step Closer 2.0 if you listen. I dunno just how much heavier you think they were back then but you forgot something. This is on par for their sound at THEIR PEAK! Chester Bennington: "Shut up when I'm talking to you!" Emilie Armstrong: "Stop yelling at me!" Plus if you pay attention to the riffs. One Step Closer 2.0...but yeah ok....complain.
