      Waiting for stock availability is the most stressful part to be honest lol. That's another good cage option! With or without the top handle?

    Super helpful review, thanks Sidney. Looking forward to trying this with my Ronin S. I’ve been thinking of mounting a z-back and v mount on my handheld rig but reckon it’s gonna be a pain switching over for gimbal set up. Maybe best to stick with a rail mounted v mount. Curious to know how you’re doing this if you use alternatives to NPF batteries.

    Stumbled upon your channel today and I love it. Great quality content AND color.
    Quick question, do you think the Nucleus M would be strong enoug to pull zoom on something like a Sony 24-105?

    • @sidneybakergreen
      @sidneybakergreen  3 года назад +1

      Yes sir. That’s why I got it. It’s one of the strongest. I want to say it is the strongest but I might be wrong so don’t quote me lol

    Regarding the mounting arm for the the 7inch monitor, have you considered the SMALLRIG Universal Wooden Left Side Handle for DJI? I just invested in one myself and plan on attaching my 7inch monitor to it. Come to think about it, haha, i'm not sure if there will be enough space for the 7inch monitor. Haha. My own recommendation has me thinking. I may just need to invest in another monitor mount to attach to the side of the Handle. Hmmmmm.....

    • @sidneybakergreen
      @sidneybakergreen  4 года назад +1

      I've been really thinking about getting another monitor all together. I've had my eye on the Ninja 5 for a minute. I do know there are a few arms out there that work with 7 Inch monitors. I've seen my friends rock them, but the mounting is always complicated lol. Looking at the handle, I don't see a lot of clearance, but then again, I also didn't think the polar pro could do it either.
      I just tilt the polar pro up to make life easier.

      @@sidneybakergreen i ended up going with a SMALLRIG Rod Clamp Ring Extension Mounting Ring, SMALLRIG Cold Shoe Mount Adapter Bracket Hot Shoe and AFVO Articulating Magic Arm Field Monitor Mount. Should work nicely with the handle set. I will have the monitor mounted towards the front of the Ronin. Seperate from the handle. We shall see. Also, since i'm not recording externally, I ended up going with a FeelWorld LUT7 7" 3D LUT 4K HDMI Monitor.

    Could you speak to how much footage (proves and h.265) fits on various size cfast cards? Tying to figure out what I need for an interview. I own SSD’s but no cfast cards and would want one for reliability. Thanks.

    I also have a problem with z-cam on this gimbal. Will you provide a link to the batteries you are using because my NPF970 is too big? Thanks.

    • @sidneybakergreen
      @sidneybakergreen  2 года назад

      That could be the case, I don't have a direct link... I actually started using ankle weights to counter balance lol

    Great info. I went with the Ninja V but I am losing connection intermittent regardless if I'm recording or not. I am using an HDMI 2.0 4K 60 cable. The cable is tight on both ends. Do you have any recommendations as to how to fix this issue? I appreciate it. Thanks!

      @@sidneybakergreen Thank you! That was my thought but weird that it works sometimes. I’ll get a new cable. I’m thinking I need the coiled one.

    Hello!
    How long does the battery of the handle connected to the motor last?

    • @sidneybakergreen
      @sidneybakergreen  3 года назад

      Haven't done a timed test, but I want to say 5-8 hours.

    Counterweights and smaller batteries = gimbal too small… Agree?

    • @sidneybakergreen
      @sidneybakergreen  2 года назад +1

      Depends on the lens setup, but yes. At the time, other options weren’t available other than the Ronin M

    Man, I love all of your videos. So well produced and informative. I just attempted to mount my e2-m4 with a Sigma 18-35 1.8 onto my Ronin S and balanced it as well as I could. Although the camera sits just fine without tilting on my gimbal when the Ronin is off, as soon as I turn the Ronin on it starts bouncing the camera up and down until I power the gimbal down. Any idea why this is happening?

    • @sidneybakergreen
      @sidneybakergreen  4 года назад

      It could be the motors need to be auto tuned? Or you need some counterweights because its probably off balance somewhere
