I'm just dipping my toes into vintage pens with a Parker 21, which is similar in some ways to the 51, so I really enjoyed this long look into the process of getting it cleaned up and writing again. It gives me hope for my own journey. Thanks for posting this!
When I was disassembling my burgundy 51 aeronertic I used a pair of my moms plastic gripped jewelry pliers. The plastic left no scratches on the nib so I think it would benefit you to get some for yourself as well.
Most enjoyable and entertaining to watch. Loads of useful information. Thank you for taking the time to make this video. Andy (UK)

The parker 21 plastic is much more hard and brittle so be carefull!
