I got a pen in a very sorry state.
In this video I will restore it and add to my collection.
I am not a big professional , so, don't repeat same at home.
Here I can give just an idea how to restore a pen.
Same time I can restore a pen to nice , good looking and

@@123amalmr Hi, to highlight the imprint, you can use a white color pencil. In this video, a polishing paste left inside the imprint, I'm not wash it out after polishing ))

I have just found your channel and I've been watching your videos. You do beautiful work. One trick with the cyanoacrylate (super glue) when filling small cracks/holes/unwanted lettering is to sand the area lightly beforehand and leave the dust on it. Apply some superglue to the area to be filled, and then immediately start sanding it before the glue can dry. Small particles of the material will be trapped as the glue dries as you keep sanding. Yes, this will clog the sandpaper, but after an application or two and a little sandpaper, the repair will be invisible even on colors other than black. Like any other technique, it takes practice. Keep up the nice work.

I did just this - with a 1947 Parker 51 barrel that was smashed in the post.
It makes for a strong repair - and it’s held up ok now for years as a ‘daily user’
Done a lot of work on MB Monte Rosa. Thanks for the tips and the video. Never give up. 😊
I’ve been collecting / repairing and restoring fountain pens for over 60 years… since I was 12.
Our methods are so very similar - and it’s a great feeling to bring a neglected or damaged pen back to life and writing again.

My daily driver is a Sheaffer Triumph Sovereign II from the 1940s, never fails.

Hi, I think you will get lots of replies to your question. I have had this issue and my approach is to soak the pen in warm water and keep the water warm, not Hot as this will damage the body of the pen. persevere eventually you will separate the parts. good luck.

от туши для ресниц, хороши щетки для чистки - правда щас большинство литые из пластика с коротким ворсом, а не длинноворсовые крученые на проволоке - но все равно подходят неплохо
для качества полировки лучше докупить полу-профи бормашинки типа Strong 204, или Marathon 3 (несколько моторов, на диайвай и гравировку подходит только один)
Да, можно использовать щетку от туши для ресниц, у меня одна где-то есть. Но я использую целый букет щеток, там разные размеры.
Спасибо за информацию, докуплю как будет возможность. Думаю очень пригодится.

Hi, I use Micro-mesh starting with 1500 and finishing with 12000, the video is 4 years old, so today , in heavy cases, I'm starting with 1000 then 1200 and up. it's quicker to remove the glue. As a finish I'm using plastic polishes, there are a lot of them.
Oh Wow! Why were there holes in the cap, and the end cap? I believe I saw 2 in the cap on opposite sides and 1 on the end cap. Brilliant job. EDIT Never mind the question. I see Grandmia Pens answered it.

Hello, thanks for your comment. I am using plastic polish it does have some slight abrasive. I am using two types, One to remove scratches , after to remove minor scratches.

I got my first Parker (Vector XL) quite smooth nib and decent writer however I'm having some skipping issues. What could be the reasons?
There could be a several reasons for that.. wrong ink, nib problem etc, but the most likely cause of this issue, however, is the way you hold the pen. Ensure you're holding your pen at a fairly shallow angle, but not too shallow, as the edge of the refill will be touching the paper and cause the pen to skip. Holding it at too steep an angle will also cause skips for similar reasons. Try to play with the pen and find the right angle. Use only the ink which are recommended by the Parker pen company .
Would you be kind enough to reveal what pastes were used to polish the pen ...i figured you used two different ones...i have a few pens which i would like to polish....thanks in advance

Check ebay, you need to search for 'Fountain Pen Ink sac' - To buy one, you need to know a size, as there are many different.

Can you pls tell me how to open a parker duofold lady grip section I want to clean nib i scared if it cracked while opening
Well, sure you should be very careful. Which year our Lady Duofold are? Usually, sections have a friction fit and some are glued in. So you should gently heat the area, then try to remove a section, sometimes it could take 20-40 minutes, sometimes longer. Don't rush, do not overheat, and be gentle.

@@grandpafountainpenreviews9554 If it is England , rounded barrel, so it is '60-70's, On this model section is screw on. So, try gently to unscrew the section, if unlucky, gently heat, then try to unscrew

Спасибо. Возможно, но реальный звук был сильно попорчен, голоса людей, пикающий детектор дыма, и другие звуки. Все удалил как смог, чтоб не мешало просмотру. Основные звуки восстановил. Но с музычкой вроде тоже не плохо, хоть она и на вкус и цвет, впрочем как и все на этом свете )

@@UncleScotty I have Parker VS in my collection, it’s to different pens . In the video it’s Parker Duofold [AF] , you can clearly see Duofold on the barrel. This pen is screw on cap, VS has push on cap. The pens may look similar, but it’s different models.
