Slash and Angus jamming is awesome. Two of the greatest bands that have spanned decades, with 2 of the best guitarists playing. Slash is a badass. Seeing Angus take it over is pretty badass. But at the end of the day, you’re still getting 2 of the best guitar players from 2 of the best bands from 70s-90s
Dude, you're right about everything but a 1 thing. It's 2024 now and i'd listen to acdc or gun's roses instead of "modern" "music" so not 70-80, 2024 as well😅
Imagine how the audience felt. They bought tickets to a Guns n' Roses concert, and, partway through it, they suddenly get Akka-Dakka. (BTW, that's the nickname we Aussies use when we refer to AC/DC.)
Wan' tell you a story 'Bout a woman I know Ah, come to lovin' She steals the show She ain't exactly pretty Ain't exactly small 42, 39, 56 You could say she's got it all Never had a woman Never had a woman like you Doin' all the things Doin' all the things you do Ain't no fairy story Ain't no skin and bones But you give it all you got Weighin' in at 19 stone You're a whole lotta woman A whole lotta woman Whole lotta Rosie Whole lotta Rosie Whole lotta Rosie And you're a whole lotta woman Oh, honey, you can do it Do it to me all night long Only one that turn me Only one that turn me on All through the nighttime And right around the clock Oh, to my surprise Rosie never stopped She was a whole lotta woman Whole lotta woman Whole lotta Rosie Whole lotta Rosie Whole lotta Rosie A whole lotta woman Yeah, yeah, yeah Oh, you're a whole lotta woman Whole lotta woman Whole lotta Rosie Whole lotta Rosie You're a whole lotta Rosie Whole lotta woman-man-man-man-man Yeah, yeah, yeah Whole lotta Rosie Whole lotta woman Whole lotta woman
One of my favorite songs from AC/DC live. Takes the studio version to another completely different level. My late brother in law [bless him of great heavenly Father] put me on to AC/DC live album 'If You Want Blood You've Got it' waaaay back when it was released on 13th October '78 and I listened to it at Christmas '78 when I was 15 years old. I was totally blown away by the entire album. However 2 songs drew my attention, this one about our Rosie and the other was track #9 'Let There Be Rock' and 8 minute 33 second EPIC song that still today sends shivers up my spine. In 1978 it just blew people's minds over here in New Zealand. We Kiwis had never heard anything like it in our lives. The ENERGY of the song is like an atomic bomb of the highest power - the USAs 'Castle Bravo' - at 15 megatons....If you haven't listened to AC/DCs live album ' 'If You Want Blood You've Got it' my suggestion is please do it. It is considered one of the greatest live albums of all time make no error. Track #3 'Bad Boy Boogie' is another absolute door slammer, at 7 minutes 29 seconds duration. Even the late Malcom Young, Angus' older brother admitted, "I personally still prefer the old album. We were young, fresh, vital and kicking ass." Greg Prato of AllMusic notes, "While most other rock bands of the era were busy experimenting with disco or creating studio-perfected epics, AC/DC was one of the few specializing in raw and bluesy hard rock, as evidenced by 1978's live set, If You Want Blood You've Got It." In 1988 when I was in London on my O.E. [overseas experience] I got to see Pink Floyd play Wembley Stadium on Saturday 6th August, I was 25 and bullet-proof [until the next morning lol] and I took a few photos - here's the URL to my Flickr account where they are in my album: www.flickr.com/photos/35707376@N00/29866632340/in/album-72157673246424191/ If you'd like to also read a small part of my life story - it IS worth it - I feature in this newspaper article and the description tells my story: www.flickr.com/photos/35707376@N00/51988007800/in/album-72157649716035656/
“Angus stole the show, he’s better than slash when slash is at his own bands show, he’s making slash play rhythm for him” OR..or.. Slash is being respectful and allowing the guest have his own spotlight for a couple of songs
Duff told of this on Jericho's podcast and i will always love this clip. "the riff started and i looked to side stage and my wife is filming, she knew, i look at Axel and he's not even looking at me, Frankie our drummer is smiling. slash is looking down at Axel's throne. so now I'm like how does the fuckin song go ya know? they rehearsed it backstage while i was off with Susanne earlier in the day"
@@nahiyanalamgir7056 agreed hence the comment.......slash is amazing, he rates in my top ten. I found it really interesting ( and as an aussie pretty cool ) that he seemed to be a more subdued slash ie he was just as in awe as the rest of us
Also, here's the answer for the holly war between les paul and sg. The first one is perfect for the rythm and Agnus shows why the sg is so great for the leads.
BTW 4 ALL U YOUNGSTERS late to the show bout these bands the loudest freakin bands u will ever hear was AC/DC IN late 70s early 80s them and MOTORHEAD..JUS FREAKIN LOYD ASS BASASSNESS
That's our personal preference but since Axl's mid-range is gone and most AC/DC songs are at the higher end, Axl is better suited for AC/DC than Guns N' Roses now. That's from a technical perspective and it's OK not to like it.
When Angus steals the spotlight, it ain't your show anymore 😆😆😆
"How good are you?"
"Well, Slash plays rhythm for me."
Slash with his trademark hair and top hat, Angus with his trademark schoolboy outfit. Must've been surreal to see them together live on stage.
The respect for Angus is unbelievable!
I love the respect that slash shows the man who takes every other rock guitarist to school

That may have been a Guns Nʻ Roses concert, but for those 2 songs G Nʻ R were Angus Youngʻs backing band! Lol 😂
Awesome!
This was before Axl was brought in to finish the tour with AC/DC. Angus was checking to see what kind of chemistry he would have with Axl onstage.
Duffs face at 5:25 😂 thinking to himself “holy fuck I can’t actually believe Angus is standing next to me” 😂😂😂😂 love duff ❤
Excellent comment and I endorse it.

When Slash is just a backing guitarist!
Respect
Angus young was like a visitor, do you really think they'd let him play the rhythm guitar?
That's his song and Slash is respecting that. I'm pretty sure Angus would let Slash play lead if they covered Sweet Child O' Mine.
Not many people can even play the rhythm part correctly like Malcom
Os 2 melhores guitarristas do mundo
Axl .. the best voice in the universe..he can sing like these even he's sit down .. Angus Is a God .. but Axl Is The Father of the Gods ..
