But I know what you mean, Axl's heyday is the late 80s - early 90s and his voice is not the same.
Back in Black has shorter phrases which means more frequent breathing and more air to shout out the high notes thus supporting his benchmark falsetto. He's doing a brilliant job here but his GN'R songs from 30 years ago were much more demanding than this. He's still a legend and an amazing singer.
Different vocal tricks. He's trying to imitate not be himself. As a copy singer, each voice I try to replicate by power placement in different areas depending on the artist.

And if axl hits them they will die
He ate all the pies🍰🥧🥧🥧🥧
Axel's fat and he sounds like shit
Also he's one of the biggest bullies of all time...facts
It's not just that, my friends and I met him at the Rainbow in the early 90's and he was a flaming asshole.
He KILLED it. Wow
Is he Bon? No.
Is he Brian? No.
Is he Axl? Oh yeah.
The guy has a range that can cover both Bon and Brian's work with the band, and his rough tone works for them too. It's better to have this, than a Bon-or-Brian sound-a-like.
While I'm glad that Brian is back with AC/DC, I would've loved to hear what Axl and Angus could've done in a studio. It'd be lethal.

Damn Axl did an amazing job. A touch of his younger self here. Rock on brothers🤘🎼🎶🎵
I LOve You Axl!!!
Cacaubeleira CF he is just a piece of drunk shitttt. he is just a pig
I think you said that out of pity
Only Axl can pull this off pitch wise AND sounding good
It's amazing ACDC managed to find 3 people who sound like that...
@John Smith NOOO HE HAS LOST SO MUCH WEIGHT HE IS A FUCKING GOOD SINGER AGAIN
@John Smith I mean I am still listing to Lep zeplling and Foo fighters Ozzy Osbourne and them But gnr just has that sprak but fair its time for Axl to pass the torch
@John Smith And rock is still going many new albums coming out soon
@John Smith Same mate I cant do that stuff I am only 16 but I really enjoy the 1970 till 1990 rock music makes me feel better than BTS Butter song 🤣
@John Smith Shou wow weldone thats very impressive
Better than I expected.
Holy shit, absolutely unexpected! He sang his heart out at this age. This was a once in a lifetime performance! Bravo Axl Bravo👏 🙌 👍
PS: we all know that Brian Johnson is perfect for this song, but its so difficult to imitate and pull it off.
No esperaba nada de Axl en ac/DC pero vaya sorpresa el hombre tiene un rango vocal increíble con ac/DC va super bien, como me hubiese gustado verlos en vivo
I want this axl back
One of my favorite all eras
Exactly
Back in Black is a very hard Rocksongs to sing. Axl nailed this song.
Fuck, as usual, people didn't always appreciate the historical nature of Axl Rose and ACDC performing together. No he isn't Bon or Brian but I sure would have gone to see these guys together!
I’d say it was actually given more credit than it deserved

Possibly, I mean it in the context of, for example, David Coverdale singing for Deep Purple. Not the best fit but still historical due to the Whitesnake aspect. The Axl/DC thing - if I already had tickets then I definitely would have gone anyway even though I could have gotten a refund. But I know what you mean, Axl's heyday is the late 80s - early 90s and his voice is not the same.
@@anonanon526 I’m with you, just being a cynical old purist. ✌️
axl is the only singer to fill in for brian.. no one else can do it!!!! he is great THANK YOU AXL !!!
True.
I like the Axl version! Yes!
Best living substitute I can think of and the man nailed it !
It was Axl Rose back in the day,
But now it’s Xxl Rose
hahaaa
I don’t understand why axl can sing this but not welcome to the jungle
Back in Black has shorter phrases which means more frequent breathing and more air to shout out the high notes thus supporting his benchmark falsetto. He's doing a brilliant job here but his GN'R songs from 30 years ago were much more demanding than this. He's still a legend and an amazing singer.
El culero si la puede cantar pero ya le es más difícil y se cansa mas por la edad, además si es buena la paga del concierto mínimo canta una bien
Cause here he was doing it for the big fat check
Different vocal tricks. He's trying to imitate not be himself. As a copy singer, each voice I try to replicate by power placement in different areas depending on the artist.
I think he’s trying to impress angus
Me encanta que en el pasado eran medio una competencia, y ahora se unen para seguir tocando a pesar de su edad. Las 2 mejores bandas de todos los tiempos sin duda
Mano, é a voz do auge da carreira, chocado!
