mica is a mineral that naturally is a beautiful golden metallic. As an archaeologist we find it in pottery all the time and call it past peoples glitter. Its imo the best "glitter" and beautiful. It shouldn't fade because its the mineral. But idk about the "colors".
Sitting here jealous over your huge Sennelier palette. These are pretty. I think they missed the mark on naming these 'metallic'. The true shine of metallic isn't there. In my experience, micas have a softer reflective quality. I was expecting more of the iuile effect.
Agreed all the way around. These had like big, shiny chunks and almost seemed a bit glittery? I don't know, they just weren't my cup of tea considering how much I love my Sennelier paints! A few years back I got this prime day palette for around $50 maybe? It was quite a good deal and then I've been slowly adding to it ever since! amzn.to/44y2P14 They are definitely my favorite artist quality paints, but because some of them never get completely dry I often use my Daniel Smith paints in my travel palettes!
This looks so good, love it ☺☺
Thank you so much!!!

Oooo very nice and thanks for the info! Yeah, I'd be more interested to know the other pigments they are using in conjunction with the mica!
