I use the Himi solid watercolor as dried gouache because they tend to be more opaque and chalky but are great as gouache .

Thanks for the test! I would say their biggest advantage is the fineliner tip and that the pens themselves are so thin. So far the only other brand I know of that has fineliner tips as well is graph'it (French). I actually never find myself using the copics chisel tip but i extensively use the fineliner tip of the graph'its (besides the brush tip of course). The Faber castel also seem to be really thin, that might make them great for pen rolls and taking them with you when you travel compared to other markers

Where did you get the magnetic pallet? Love it. I have many dot card sets and a couple button sets but would maybe like to go bigger & would love a pallet like the one you have. Thanks Jone

At the shop in Sketchbox, the basic box price dropped to $ 10, so that is half the price of the subscription.

My 2024 summer box cost me $102 with shipping and I could have purchased all the items from Blick or Amazon for Jess than $65 with free shipping. It’s a huge rip off and I’m so disappointed.

Not sure if ur still testing T-mu stuff. If so, I think you should give the Giorgione watercolors in tubes a try. Im using the 24 set (put them in pans) and I think they are really nice for that price (~€11 where I live). The STA pigment liners are also nice.

I do not know what the “regular price” is for the Van Gogh Metallic half pan set is on Amazon, but I bought them last November for $21.95, and have never regretted it, plus I like Van Gogh’s palettes.
