This arc has showed this crews loyalty to their captain in glorious ways. The fact Nami couldn’t even bring herself to lie while at deaths door says a lot.

Ever since I saw her reaction of Ace's death, the way she was eager to get back to Luffy surprised me a bit. Besides Eries Lobby, even with Arlong's defeat, deep down I figured she joined him because she owed him a solid, but from her resolved to train for two years ,all the way to this moment, I know without question, this is truly a navigatior worthy of the future king.
That scene for all the crew was great. They all know that luffy will always be there for them, but at that time they knew luffy needed them.
I looove her reaction of Ace's death too🥺! She broke! I have always liked her, but her character development is truly amazing!
And I think the way how she saw how Luffy was determined to get back Sanji in the big mom arc also showed her Luffy would fight to his last dying breathe for anyone on his crew

@@coolio7796 More like she has been loyal to Luffy immediately after that arc and then she has stayed the same for 1000 episodes. Which is pretty much equally true for the entire cast. None of the cast really has any character development. They've been the same as they were when they joined Luffy's crew.
Amazing Scene. Nami crying not just because shes about to die, but also because Ulti making fun of the dream of Luffy her Captain, the Man who saved her so many times. Nami and Usopp our weakling duo are so emotionaly strong bounded to Luffy. Love it.

This is hands down Nami's best moment in One Piece. She doesn't need to have the best fights or be a powerhouse, her character development outshines that stuff.

I was honestly surprised at this moment. Saying things they don’t mean to survive is kind of her thing. This time, she couldn’t bring herself to disrespect her captain's dream out loud no matter if it was a lie. Nami at her core is loyal to the end.
Yeah, we've seen the weakling trio lie before to get out of trouble, but it seems like the one lie they can't tell is that they don't believe in their captain.
Even when she was at Death’s door, she didn’t blink at death, she didn’t give up. She kept her head held high and kept loyal to her captain, Luffy. Massive Respect to her and I say this Unironically.

Toei nailed this scene adding the Arlong flashbacks. Nami may not be the strongest but as one of the first crew-members she's the one who has the most trust in Luffy and the most loyal

What I love about this scene is how Luffy was the last and only person on Nami’s mind when she genuinely thought she was about to die. Reminds me of how Toki’s last word before death in the anime was: “Oden-San”

Probably the first time I’ve seen Nani in such state. Sure she was hurt before, but there was blood. Even through that though she stuck to her guns even though it was about to get her killed. Talk about character development.
This is the Nami we know and all. She doesn't abandon Luffy even in a deadly situation like this. But also nice job Tama for the save as well.
Belemere would be proud of Nami at this moment. Choosing loyalty of those she cared for over her own life, just like Belemere did for her daughters.
This scene is why people are hating on usopp again without understanding his character dude told nami to lie not because he doesn't believe in Luffy but because he values the lives of his friends above all else and knows each and every single one of them is important to Luffy and his dream he will lie, play dirty, humiliate himself and even put his life on the line for his friends and the dream of his captain usopp has changed a lot over time he's not the same usopp who would quit the crew due to his pride anymore he values all of them like family

Why is everyone saying that they thought that Nami was that loyal....She has always been loyal exept in the begging but she only knew the crew for a day or two never really had the intention to stay plus if you all woukd have watched jt crefully you would know on her way to arlong park she was really broken because she wanted to stay with them....Then she saved Zoro from drowning then she rather stab her hand than Usopp.. People need to stop underrating Nami.
No Strawhat besides Nami has been put in a situation where it's "Lie or Die". Only her and she chose to die despite Luffy probably never even finding out about this but she couldn't bring herself to disrespect him & his dream.
Ussop & Zoro both said it by choice but they were not sentenced to die by doing so. Nami was sure she was dead after this and this were her last words. That's what separates this moment from the rest and wether you like it or not. It's what makes it more special.
Stop understating her moment by adding the others. It happens with her only. You never hear that when it comes to Zoro for example. It's always about how badass he is for doing stuff. People only try to cheapen Nami's moments.

Nami started off trying to trick and steal from Luffy but now she can't deny his dream even when her life is on the line
Nami is one of my favorite characters, not because she's weak or strong, something about her is fascinating, along with the rest of the crew, and this scene made me love her even more! No wonder Nami's the only person Luffy trusts with his straw hat :)
I don't know what's emotional the usopp being beaten by frankys men or this heartfelt moment this is why nami and usopp may be the weak trio but they still are my faves ❤
Their weakness and humanity adds a lot to the One Piece Universe....we can all relate to them because they don't have any special abilities but keep trying to survive in this world of monsters as best as they can....

Arlong Park is what got me into One Piece so I have a lot of love for Nami.
Luffy gave Nami her life back way back in Arlong Park. It's not often she gets to show how much she appreciates and is loyal to him for that, but there's a reason she's one of the only people he's ever entrusted his straw hat to.
I haven't watched One Piece for nearly 2 years now. But while I'm waiting for this arc to finish, it does put a smile on my face to see that the squad is still ride or die.
