You have so many helpful ideas! You should have ten times the views! I plan to watch this multiple times as someone who got bad habits in the left hand and am now starting again fresh after a 20 year break. I really appreciate what you have worked out and presented in such a simple way.

Thank you for the very helpful exercises. I found it quite difficult in the second tapping exercise to turn the forearm from the elbow. It seems to be coming from the wrist. I must be doing something wrong…

Very help tutorial, so the sound quality will be different if thumb squeeze the neck?

    • @cellotutorials3347

The pain might appear and speed of the fingers will be reduced. Fingers must run when playing fast and it’s hard to achieve if something is holding them. Therefore first - standing and falling freely on the fingerboard (almost like slapping) then they’re ready for run. 🏃

what is to be acheived by putting the thumb under the second finger?

Actually different people , different position. You can check it by - quickly clench and unclench your fists few times and watch where the thumb stays (above middle finger, in between of index and middle, or above index - that’s natural position of your thumb. And keep same position under fingerboard , depending where it stoped - 1, 1and2 or 2nd 👌
