I just want to thank you. I couldn't figure out why my gaming mouse stopped working upon restart and no matter what I tried from other people's advice, nothing was working. Then, I saw your video and you had the solution (it was the USB root hub! One of them had a caution sign with an exclamation point). I figured out to just disable and then enable it, and it started working again.

It's so weird, USB ports work for everything else fine.
The mouse also is working fine with other computers.
I can use other mice with this PC, with no issues at all.
But when I connect the mouse to my PC, it usually disconnects and shows an error. I also tried to reinstall the PC, clean the USB ports, and update the mouse driver. Nothing really works.

When opening the device manager, the only thing which isn't there is the mice and pointing devices. Anyone else have this problem and know a solution?

What you could do is go to the other devices section. there it will show unknown devices. You press on on and update it’s driver. And it will be back

Not even my keyboard works i tried everything i tried several mouses they light up on the bottom and thats it the issue is its not connecting to the system but electricity is running through the plug holes.

None of these worked for me, I have error 39 in the device manager for all mice (they work on other machines). That being said this is a great vid and I appreciate you explaining the fixes with the mouseless method. I got sick of reading articles that were explaining fixes while assuming one would be using a mouse to perform said fixes lol

I found the issue with mine. For some reason the computer was installing the same mouse multiple times. I deleted all copies and now it works (mostly, my mouse still keeps cutting out for a second before coming back)

Thanks bro. Something on my PC automatically stopped working bc of some kind of error. My track pad didn't work either bc my laptop thought I still had a USB mouse connected. So I disabled and reenabled something that had an exclamation label (⚠) and it works now.

I've tried everything except the last but I'm not sure If i should do the last because, my mouse works but like barely. When it's plugged only sometimes I can get it to work for 5 minutes and it stops working. I don't know if that counts or not.
my computer has some problems by stopping every port (monitor,usb devices) and the pc is still on, an easy fix is just to power off the pc and reboot it, that fixes the problem, this time my mouse stopped working and i had another mouse that worked, somehow, that part with the usb in device manager saved me from losing 300$ on a new mouse
