Bill. I own a BR 03-02. Much like the first you showed but a stainless steel case. Acquired pre owned at about the price you found. It is a chunk of a watch. It’s a great weekend do anything watch. Very legible and keeps great time. Thanks for the video.

Hey Paul, thanks for that personal experience with the Bell & Ross. It's always helpful to hear from those who own and wear a watch of a specific make and model. Take care, Bill

Not a big fan of the size of B&R but they are pretty cool for people that like aviation style watches.

They are big-it's always good to check the time at a glance when you're flying and big watches are good for that. Take care, Bill

A very interesting take on a short attention span production Bill. When you flew what watches did you wear then?

Chris, I had gold-plated titanium quartz Rado--but I pined for a Breitling or TAG Heuer-but I was blowing all my money on avionics and flying. (If ever asked about the theory of aerodynamics and what keeps an airplane in flight-the correct answer is $money! Take care, Bill

Bell & Ross always reminds me of Revue Thommen. Revue thommen sadly quit making watches and now solely focusses on avaition instruments.

Thanks HRM. I did not know RT was involved in avionics...but I do remember they made watches at one time. I still may get one of those 8-day JLC instrument panel clocks. Take care, Bill

Hey Bill, I’ve always liked the style of B&R (time only, the GMT and Chrono don’t suit the case). I’m not a pilot and appreciate this doesn’t preclude me but I believe a watch is an extension of your ‘self’ so not for me. All the best, Ed

      agreed. Three-Handers only.

Funny, Ed, I don't have one and have no plans to get one. $4k for a Sellita movement-a tad high. Maybe I can find the parts on AliExpress and make one myself with a Vaucher movement. Take care, Bill

The irony Bell & Ross initially had their chronographs case made by Sinn for their version of the ETA 7750, if I’m not mistaking (before the instrument looking cases). They’ve come a long way from their humble beginning!

You know you have arrived when you drop a 170k on a b&r watch.
When you walk into a room sporting that close to a quarter million $ b&r watch Paul Newman Daytonas will bow FPJ owners will be thrown asunder. Patek patrons will hide behind their service animals.
