By moving slightly to the left I don't believe Sainz knew Perez was next to him.
And if your race line is block by another driver you should not follow your race line Carlos

I think it will come down to Carlos not having any room, and Perez forcing Carlos into the wall, thus the gap closed, wheels touched and the accident happened. "Racing Incident"

Watching it in slow motion, Sainz moves left thinking maybe no one was there?

It was Checo who needed to move. This exact thing happened in Monaco where he was in front and Kevin was behind. He blamed Kevin for the incident while he didn't give any space. Now if he thinks that he wasn't at fault at all in Monaco, then he can't blame Carlos even 1 bit for this one in Baku. He saw Carlos slosing in slowly as it was the racing line. He screwed it up more because he, 1st of all was behind, 2nd of all he saw what was happening in front of him while Carlos had only the mirrors, while also needing to focus on the track in front. But again. Same thing happened in Monaco and Checo blamed Kevin. Meaning, he is at fault in Baku.

Sainz moved left to keep Checo in the non-preferred line. You need to be on the right side to enter #3. He was attempting to make Checo back out and he didnt. Sainz caused it.

Sainz was on the outside lane and was being pushed out going to turn 3. He knew that Perez will take inside lane in turn 3. Sainz initiated contact by refusing to acknowledge that hes on the outside lane going to turn 3.

I can not side with a driver who did not take a straight line.
1 car drove straight. The other eased center and he was not clear.
Both driver's stubborn-ness cost a massive blow to constructors.

Monaco earlier this year. Checo in front of Kevin, doesn't move a bit to give Kevin space, causing a crash and blaming Keving solely on it.
Today in Baku, Checo is in the position of Kevin but with a lot more space to move, doesn't move a bit, causing a crash, blaming Carlos... 😂
      Year right mate. Pick one...

1 car width is entitled from the solid line. Carlos made one steering input to bring his car into that space and avoid the closing wall on drivers right. At the point he gets 4 wheels left of the he is ahead and allowed to maintain that line and made no further inputs to steering. Checo made multiple slight inputs in both directions, as the two cars were already overlapped and Carlos was more than half a car ahead Perez made one final input to the right and the contact happened as carlos was carrying slightly more speed due to the big snap Perez had on exit. Not quite causing a collision but surely Perez failed to avoid contact. If this was earlier in the race its likely stewards would have ruled differently. Watch both onboards in slow mo and make an informed decision. Don’t be influenced by content creators and don’t be a fanboy. This could’ve been a great last lap battle but Perez was watching a podium slip away and the red mist took over.

lol Perez....chill. That was part of your fault too. You also took space just as Carlos. In my opinion, was an accident. Not much worse than many others that RB intentionaly caused. So, just chill now and accept the consequences.

Remember Monaco, but heco was just the one in front of Magnussen. He blamed Kevin who was behind for it while not moving even a bit to give him some space. Now he was the one behind again not moving even a bit, but wants to blame Carlos? Nah mate, that's not how it goes. Same incident but he wants to be in the right both times...

Checko not moving at all like he did in Monaco. The only difference was is that in Monaco he was in front, and in Baku he was behind. Now Checo, if you want to claim that the incident in Monaco was not your fault, you can't blame Carlos, not even 1%.

Saint is at fault and should be penalized for the insinuation. Ferrari should also be penalized for it.

It's hard for the stewards in F1 racing. However, Wheel to Wheel is "beside" in an open wheel car. If you are behind, you should move or backout. Checo was still behind i.e., his front wheel was behind Sainz rear wheel, so they obviously hooked up together. Even in Sim racing, ppl thinks this is ok, when they hit you in the side or rear.

  • @frankdelrincon6065

How can Carlos say this when he almost lost the car in the preview curve, Of course, he knew Checo was going to recuperate the place he lost. Or what did he think? I think he was helping Leclerc. He just didn't think it was going to be that bad. He spun over out of the track so he was not in his line; he was recovering back in the line, and that is how he hit Checo.

Sainz‘ car moving suddenly to the left looks like something broke in his car. It was not his driving mistake.

    • @Irevoltnow
      @Irevoltnow 3 дня назад

His car moving to the left suddenly was because tyres of Ferrari and Red bull touched each other. Before that he was only slightly going to the left.

No, Sainz was moving left, knowing its not the preferred line into #3. Perez never moved. You need to have another look maybe at a replay from above. Its pretty clear what Sainz was doing.

Actually both moved sainz to left and Perez to right but Perez has better view than sainz as his car is behind Carlos and Carlos had better track position than Perez as sainz was hit at rear left. It’s all a micro second decision but if i want to blame Perez may did little better to avoid it

@@alanserjeant4947 actually looking v carefully at both on boards show that yes sainz moved slightly to left to maintain line but Perez did have slight input to the right despite being behind and needing to leave that space and allow sainz to follow the line to turn 3. As the onboard and overhead shows if sainz had gone straight and not slightly left to follow the line the corner would not be made.
As others have said sainz was less than Perez in Monaco and Perez did as he complained about in Monaco so...... Yeah
