    Hi Happyberry Crochet.
Have you noticed that once you straighten out your stitches after your "weird chain 1 thing", you effectively have done a simple stitch followed by a "yarn over" which is much easier to work? If you want the stitches crossed, then you need to do your "weired chain1 thing".
Thank you for sharing videos and to all (mostly) ladies who share. It is a great way to learn new stitches and even new crafts.

I'm experienced in a number of artforms but new to Tunisian crochet and I really appreciate your patient running commentary as you demo. You never tire of repetition, which is exactly what your learners need. You don't speed up to your own, probably lightning speed, as some RUclipsrs tend to. Really good teaching. Thank you.

I've been Tunisian crocheting for about a year now, & was getting a bit bored off the simple stitch. This is pretty. Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year to you & yours. 🎉🎄🎅⛄

This is a lovely stitch. How would you end off your project? I'm assuming the same way for any Tunisian project. I will look for one of your other projects to see what you did. Thx.

How do you think this stitch would work for a Spring or Summer blanket ?
Would it hold up to being so long? I tried with your other lace pattern it was too stretchy it didn’t maintain it’s shape. Although my hook might have been too big. What is your opinion on it working for a lightweight blanket?

What size Tunisian crochet hook are you thinking of? I found one for under $5 with free shipping on eBay that is a 48 inch flexible crochet hook (meaning it has a cord and cable stopper) that is made from bamboo. I have to wait until the 9th or 10th for it to arrive. I also found a 14 inch aluminum double ended crochet hook through Walmart that will arrive around the same time as the one I got on Ebay and it also is a 5mm in size but doesn't have a cord or stopper attached (due to it's being double ended, which is handy if you want to crochet in the round either Tunisian or regular crochet) and I paid nearly $8 for that one.

This is beautiful! Thank you for all the wonderful tutorials! I wonder,
Is there a name for crochet items that you know of? Like, knitted things are called “knits” is there a term for crochet pieces?

It's a good question, I think most people use the term knits still but it should have its own shouldn't it!

Quick question...or two - is this stitch a yarn hog!? I'm assuming it would be great for a light weight yarn as well?

Most crochet is a yarn hog compared to knitting but it should fair better than most normal crochet stitches, you'd have to test it! 😀
