XPPen was super kind and sent me their Artist 24FHD Tablet to try out! I wanted to show you guys the tablet and a bit of drawing on it as well! I definitely think that this is a big upgrade for a drawing tablet! But I love the size for the amount of work space but also as a 2nd monitor whenever I am not drawing! Go check out XPPen out!!

I love XP products; I have 2 of their tablets....screenless and one with. I was thinking about getting a bigger one, but had to ask myself why....just wanted it though 😁 Don't have room for it, but it's nice looking.

Our art styles are different from each other, but hearing you chatting away about anything and there being someone by me doing art is so helpful and encouraging to get my own done! Hello! Thank you for reviewing this wonderful product, I'm currently about to purchase my 1st ever drawing tablet and saw many reviewing XP-Pen. This is my also my 1st time seeing your channel & love your perspective of showcasing your art & the product itself. Your video by far was appealing and gave an honest review, which many briefed the product but yours felt genuine. Your video also convinced me to purchase this tablet itself!! During the video you mentioned using a "monitor stand", and knowing my posture will be bent like a shrimp lol, you opted for a great alternative. Although it has been some time, if you read this comment, what kind of monitor arm did you use and if there's a possible link to it?

I feel like a big clunky screen. Could be usefulfor someone who has ADHD Like me , Because sometimes I forget that I could just draw right now, Like oh I forgot that was an option lol , and that kind of hard to forget when you have a big O screen in the corner of your room.😂

I don't think that a tablets size should ever be used as a negative unless we're talking about fitting Photoshops entire UI on a 12 or 13 inch tablet.
People, who buy a 24 inch tablet buy it for a reason and they plan the required space out in advance.
10:40 how do you open a flipped view window while drawing 😮 that would help me so much
When you make a new canvas window of your drawing (Window > Canvas > New Window) you can pop out the new window and just flip horizontally! (View > Rotate/Flip > Flip Horizontal) This is flipping your view and not the actual drawing so it shouldnt affect the main canvas!
Would you say this is a good upgrade from an iPad?
I would personally love to draw on a bigger screen and I love the amount of specs the tablet has to offer but ofc I’m still very indecisive 😅
hmm i wouldn't necessary compare the two? I think it also depends on your copmputer/laptop that you are connected to and the programs that you want to use! Also considering the size, portability is not an option but if you are okay with that and just want more space to draw on, it is a good option! :) Hope you can find the tablet upgrade that will work with you though!

Does the tablet already has a drawing software? Or do you install a specific software? If so, which one you use?
this is just a tablet, the softwares are things you install on your own.
The stickers they provide annoy me, cause for some reason it doesn't have a paint bucket tool icon!! XD I know it's silly but WHY??? That's a very common button to press dangit lol. Otherwise the remote looks neat, usually companies just make the remote literally a blank numpad hehe Wish more companies would maybe make them in the style of a half keyboard option too. As a gamer it's more natural for my hand to rest with those key layouts. The tablet itself looks really nice though, i kinda like their version of the quick release stand more than say Huion, since the release lever is much easier to activate from the front. Wonder if the screws line up with huions display? XD Might be a nice replacement for my setup hehe
You can definitely measure out the screw holes if you need to! The one on XPPen match up with VESA mounts which are very common! A half keyboard option would be very lovely haha I would also opt for that if that was an option!
@@Rinspiritart Yeah after seeing you mount to a monitor arm, that means it's Vesa compliant and therefore standard, woooo! Also i might just do THAT as well since i have a spare arm laying around. What i ended up using is actually a half keyboard designed for Gamers. So it gives you keys all the way over to the T, G, and B keys. To hep with wrist straight i crafted a little angled stand to place it on out of like, perforated board hehe.

Do you d color/shade and add outline on 1 layer? Oh also what was the software you mentioned to have a floating overview window of your artwork?
EDIT : I actually found the software, PureRef. But I don't know how to load in the CSP file so I can see my progress in real time, it only lets me load images but not the files.
hello! PureRef is good for multiple references but because its a separate program it will not load in your CSP files. For another view of your current canvas. Go to Window> Canvas>New Window> Then click and drag out the new window from the top bar to wherever you want. That should allow you to have a 2nd view or multiple views when working!
