Hi lovelies, Hi lovelies, where you live can significantly impact your personal growth by giving different opportunities. Early last year, I realized I needed a change, so I decided to relocate. In this video, I'm talking about all things going through my mind as I'm starting life from scratch all over again in my late 30s.
Love, Poppy xx

I tuned 39 last month. I'm unmarried with no children
I'm going to start a Masters full-time in a whole new country within the next few months. I'm pivoting in my career to do what I want to do and not what I can bend myself into. You're going to be fine. We're going to be fine because we're living our own lives and not what is deemed as " settling down " by society. Continue to walk bravely!
Congratulations!! I am in a similar situation as you BUT really scared to make this step. Wishing you well
She got a fiancé visa stop playing and then show running fast on the treadmill for 2 seconds for the clip then stops.
Hi, my name is Hannah. I am turning 33 in the end of this year. unmarried with no children just like you. I feel anxious and I want to know if you feel anxious somtimes and how you handle a situation like this.
I am in a same situation moved to pursue Masters at 38 and now started to work again from scratch in a new country after quitting job of 17 years. Not that easy but at the same time not impossible.
Let me guess, are you planning to go for masters in data science/ML and AI?
I am 44 single and planning to move to other country and start my career from scratch. Its difficult but when I saw your video and comments, I realize there are so many like me.
Im 39, and moved from chile to france, to explore life, with a new job, language, and now im quit my job, and continue to explore what are my passions, and what i want to do on life ! It takes courage to do this! Congratulations!
Yes exactly!!! Same and we are doing as single Woman. It’s nice to have a partner too! Great to see both angles
how do you do it? I lost my job since aug 23 and I have been in shambles since. Everyone told me to enjoy the time, and it's true that many months have passed. But even though its been months since my layoff, I've been worried and dreading every single day - not knowing when I'll finally get a job. I can 100% say that I did not rest at all during this time. I'd love to hear your perspectives on taking this leap, as I have not found the strength to give myself this grace to enjoy life as it is
the sad thing is that you chose France..
I don't want to "settle" either. Even when my husband and I finally buy a house and put down roots, I don't want us to "settle" in the way a lot of people do...shutting themselves off to change and growth and new experiences for the sake of maintaining routine appearances.
Girl, Amen!
I’m with you, settling in not in our vocabulary either. Expat lifestyle has been the best decision we’ve ever made.
If you have children they will require some stability moving around a lot is hard on them and their development. Traveling of course but constantly moving around living in new places is hard for them.. if you don’t want kids I would say go for it but if you do want a family it’s just something to consider
@@jesussaves89 I didn’t say we’d move constantly, but that we would always be open to change, new experiences, and growth. You can have a home base and still explore the world and all of its opportunities. I understand what you’re saying, though. I do think stability is good for kids. We don’t have them and we don’t plan to, though.
I'm much younger, currently 26. At 25 I decided to move across the world and start from scratch. No friends, no connections, just a job I had applied for before moving over.
It's been a little under a year now and my life is completely different. I've accomplished so many goals, overcome so many challenges, and have even found love. I feel like moving was what propelled me into this future I have today -- and I am extremely thankful I made that leap of faith.
Best of luck in America!
I hear you, We thrive when we’re out of our comfort zone. Moving and residing in 4 different countries these past 10 years, the personal growth is worth all the hardship.
I’m 25 and wish to move abroad. Any tips on job searching?
How did you find a job abroad? PS Flyff brings back memories
Wow,
What job did you take?
On my 40th birthday in a month, I am moving my whole family to another country to start a new career and a new life! Talk about anxiety! Good luck with your reinvention 😊
Good to hear. I am 44 and have a 4-year-old. I feel like I am stuck but I need to do a reinvention of my entire life.
Could u pls tell me which country do u move? Nd from Where?
Watching this at 24 and feeling like my life is over because I have not figured out yet what I truly want to do in life, this gave me hope and comfort. Thank you.
I feel the same way, it's always nice to see that I'm not alone.
Oh dear.. I am 38 and start over my life again with new job and more experiences on my back. Until you reach 40 you only learn! Life starts after 40 because you have the mind and experiences. Enjoy your youth and stop worry everything will fall into place at the right time 😊
I am 36, and I felt lost and stuck too, that scares me. Your channel is a beacon of hope, reminding me that there's so much to look forward to. I have faith in what's next! Good luck with your move, and can't wait for your updates Poppy ❤!
I 💯 feel this 💖
@nylejnyla I can 100% understand… I am feeling so incredibly lost at the moment, I am learning to ice skate but as a 36 yr old even though this is the only thing that brings me “hope” when everything else in my life is stagnant and ai times I feel so judged… prob my own insecurities but I feel that people must think I am childish for getting excited to skate while they are buying houses and starting businesses
@@dearcelenesame here
Genuinely in the same space after having a cry at work 😂 something needs to change
Same. Almost 38 and feel lost stuck like my entire life has just been passing time
Magical year for me 38. Settled and also baby arrived ❤ Life since then turned 180 degrees but I am for sure more happy and fulfilled and finally I have a clear purpose, my own family 🍀🥰🥳
Aww that's beautiful, congratulations! Parenthood is such an important job and I honestly admire everyone that gets to do it! 😍❤👶
I’m 37 too and relate so much to your message. My biggest concern is financial and career related. My career is going nowhere and I need to make more money. I feel so stuck in my current situation, and having no money doesn’t help. I would love if you could touch on your career change and how to start.
Good luck on your next chapter. I teared up when you cried. It is exciting to start something new, but so very emotional to leave a big part of your life behind. You’ve got this!!
you are not alon. I feel the same, stuck in like but for moving on I need more money but it is soo hard. Stuck on there also, how to make more money.
I am also 37 and have zero income 😢😢😢
Same 😢
Yeah, the money will solve 99% of my problems. Trying to find non conventional ways to make money because a regular 9-5 job here in our country just isn't enough for the future that I want.
Same boat
I am a bit older than you, I moved a few times (last one is from Italy to America), had some amazing careers from Public Safety to Artist, and I am about to pivot once more. This is what I have learned:
•live a 1000 lives
•people who think it’s “irresponsible” is because they are uncomfortable with themselves (you can’t change them)
•it’s never too late to reinvent yourself and start over
•age is a state of mind not the number of years on your ID
•you will find likeminded people and it’s fantastic when you do ❤️
I wish you the world!
Older and so true.
Currently 32, moving out to a new apartment, finally living alone and getting a dog! I sometimes feel stuck, seeing all my friends have kids and get married. In the Philippines there is also a pressure of being able to settle at this age, this still affects me at times. Thank you for sharing your video!
You’ll be fine. Mel Robert’s started her life over in her forties. Vera Wang started her amazing dress line at 40. Morgan Freeman started his acting career as an older man over forty as well. The guys who made the hit song The Macarena were older men. lol. You can do it. We can all do it. ❤
You are talking about the top 2%. Most if not the majority don’t accomplish anything.
Been moving between countries most of my life and to be honest I've never really wanted to ""settle down", it always felt like I would "limit" myself and my opportunities. I love the freedom and being able to travel and work at the same time (so grateful for this opportunity), yet I have a country I can call home, even though I wasn't born there. Wishing you all the best in US - starting a new chapter in life is always exciting. Love your videos 🤍
Totally Agree, when a door opens go for it! Living in Asia, Europe and the Middle East has opened my eyes to the greater world.
I just turned 30 and have been having a hard time accepting it and feeling like it is my too late but when I see you able to live your life the way you want makes me think you are so cool! keep following your dreams girl 💗 you are definitely making me see things differently
I just turned 30 too and I feel the same way!
Girl , give ur self a year and that feeling will go away, and will start to accept a new chapter of ur life,I I just turn 32 and i feel much better now
I think it's really amazing that you are able to start over, I was 27 when I moved to another state from everything I have ever known and am still "establishing" I suppose. In this time since I have started over and moved and changed jobs and everything, so much has come from it - I met my person, I am working to build a life I have always wanted and its like I am rediscovering myself for the first time here again. Never stop starting over from scratch, like code or even art there are many iterations of the best version of you! Which I am still trying to give grace to. Love your content, thank you for motivating me as well. It's easy to become complacent.
Thank you for this video! I am 37 and I wanna start a new life from scratch too💯💛
Do it!!! Everything will fall into place.
I find your progress so relatable and satisfying. Your editing also makes me feel peaceful and reflective. There are so many wonderful changes happening in my life and your videos are reminding me to slow down and handle these shifts with maturity and consistency.
Im turning 30 later this year and it's incredibly daunting and scary because I still dont have a clue what i want to do in life in terms of my career. I'm also single and can't see that changing any time soon because of my lack of social life.
I think it's comforting to know that others are experiencing the same problems.
I don't think I've seen the best version of myself since i was in university. I've wanted to live in another country to push myself out of my comfort zone, but I've been too lazy and procrastinate too much, so it never happened.
I hope we can all find that drive and ambition that we need in life
I completely understand how you feel-I’m in a similar situation myself. Turning 30 can be intimidating, especially when career and personal life goals feel uncertain. It’s comforting to know we’re not alone in this. Just remember, it’s never too late to push yourself out of your comfort zone and take small steps towards your dreams. We’ll find that drive and ambition together. You’ve got this!
@@SynapseSecretz thank you so much for this ❤️ We've got this 💪
Me too 30 now, long term relationship ended, was just removed from my job 😭 I'm thinking of going abroad now .. We can do this!!
@@justrandom01049 I'm really sorry to hear about your relationship and job-both of those are incredibly tough to go through. It sounds like a challenging time, but thinking about going abroad could be a fantastic way to start fresh and find new opportunities. It's great to see your determination and optimism. We absolutely can do this! Sometimes these big changes can lead to the most rewarding experiences. Stay strong, and know that you're not alone. We're in this together!
@@justrandom01049 travelling is a great way to just escape and take some time for ourselves. I'd suggest doing it sooner rather than later though because the longer you leave it, the more you'll try and convince yourself that you don't need to go..
thank you so much for this video. I don't know you but your video came up randomly. I will be 36 in July and I have struggled to change my career for years. I finally went back to uni a year ago to pursue my passion but I have been totally depressed because I have had no lack in finding any job at all. I left a career were I was stable and had good income(but was so stressed I could not sleep at night) but now am back living with my parents cause I can't find a job. I keep trying but nothing seem to work. For society and many people around me, I am crazy cause I refuse to go back to my previous job and often I question myself too. I hope something will change soon. Changing successfully career at our age is not that easy and what is worse is the way all this is making me feel ashamed and like a big failure. Thanks for your words. They made me feel a bit better.
This resonated with me so deeply! I have done the same, moved from Australia to Europe at 36 this year. Moving out of Australia was my dream for years and I was feeling so stuck and lost. This year I finally took the plunge and left everything I knew. Now thinking of an entirely new career and life here in Europe. I am both scared and optimistic for the future. Thank you so much for sharing. Good luck!
Am so grateful that I found your channel, I am currently going throught the transition form my 20s to 30s its hard but am realising and learning at this point is that you can build yourself up in a soft way. I think that everyone is just on the hurry up and make it happen and forgetting to take care of themselves!
Girl as a 37 year old - I deeply relate. Our lives are our own to design. I agree that settling in something just bc other people said so isn't a good enough reason for me.
Thank you for making this video, it came up as a suggestion in my notifications, I’m not even subscribed to your channel. I’m sure that this is some kind of message to change my perspective, I’m living in my father's house with comforts and I am afraid to leave because I don't have a job, and what is limiting me right now are material things. When you mentioned that the environment doesn’t allow you to develop as a person, something woke up in me since I don’t have the freedom to do what I’d like. You made me understand that it’s not about material things and comprehend the true importance of changing people and places. Thank you for making this video, it helped me more than you imagine.
Im 29 and feeling unsure or what’s next decade going to be. Happy to stumble upon ur channel!
I am turning 38 this year and really admire and commend you. I really hope to have your peaceful confidence and courage. I also am a married, dog mom without the ‘conventional’ nuclear family but am so at peace being with my little family. I look at you and I know that it’s possible to be happy. You’re amazing. Hope your fur baby is ok and settled in usa❤
This video resonates with me in so many ways. I love how you reflect on the path of life. I recently turned 30 and life has been really scary since because of all the expectations that people throw at me. I am far away from being settled but I am glad that I have the chance to pursue my dreams now. I am still on the way to build up my career towards that goal and I think that it is really important to be kind to yourself while consistently trying your best.
it takes alot of courage to change careers and to move, you are living your life so well done to you for making changes as you see fit to do. good luck with all your set out to do, you are amazing
I just turned 36 this year, married, got one child and got another one on the way this year. We can all start over at anytime when it feels right to do so - that is something I can relate and agree. However, it is scary and not beneficial for both men and women remaining single and not having children long term wise. Having a soul mate and rearing a family is an essential honor and duty to our ancestor's wishes to continue the bloodline. I acknowledge there's a pool of childless singletons and couples but I wouldn't be influenced by their reality. It is important to take control, its like ignoring the nail sticking out that needs to be hammered. For me, its an achievement and a relief.
We are of the same age and the same feeling in life. I cannot thank you enough for posting this because most of the time, I feel alone in this journey, I feel like no one is like me, and then u post this and I feel less alone. ❤ Sending my love from the Philippines.
This is inspiring. I’m 29 relocating from the US to a Caribbean island all by myself while also making my next career move. I have had to navigate a lot of challenges in the past year and it’s just so overwhelming but this video gave me some reassurance. All the best on your journey!
I completely agree with you❤️I’m 39 and now moving to New Zealand with my husband and dog:) All the best💕
Who cares about others' expectations about where you should be at this point in your life. It takes guts to make a change at any point in your life, so good for you. I hope things work out for you in your new career.
I love your reasoning in this video. And for those that think that changing career or place is failure, well it's their problem. You are being brave, and I wish you all the best!
I am in same situation as you are right now. End of month, we are moving to different city, we will rent a house for a first time in my life. New job, new position that I never had before. The mix of feelings and emotions is so real. When we got this opportunity, I said no. Then I sat on the thought and I think the same. Not always but often is good and better to just do things against the fear we feel. And same as you, I just hope that this is going to work out as it did in a past. Good Luck! 🍀
thank you for making this video. as someone going through something similar watching this has been super validating and comforting. ❤
I just came across your channel and I would like to wish you safe travels to the US and best wishes and congratulation on your new journey. You said something that really stuck with me, which was fighting in my fears. I love that and thank you for sharing.
so excited about seeing whats next for you! thanks for taking us with you on that journey. love from germany
Wish you well with your new chapter in life Poppy. So grateful that shared about the initial struggling days. When you said what happened in 2009 it literally felt like god talked to me through you. That's where I am at right now.. 💓
Good luck with all of your endeavors Poppy! Wishing you all the best!
Hi Poppy! My journey feels so similar to you. I moved on from my job and have been reinventing myself and understanding myself better over the past months. Nothing is as beautiful as defining happiness for oneself rather than running behind the society’s notions of it. I’m
Living that happiness now. ❤
Yas girl, I'm so happy you've managed to do that for you!
@@reinventingpoppy Thank you..💖💖
Ah so excited to follow along this part of your journey! I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to either settle or explore/go on an adventure. I think it's just a matter of your personality, values, and desires in life. 💛
Beautiful video my friend. I must have said thank you quite a few times on your previous videos, but I won't stop saying thank you for the insight you continue to provide. Might have mentioned I'm 36 myself, trying my best to change my destiny. And your encouraging words have been on my mind for many days since I stumbled upon your channel. Enjoy yourself in the USA Poppy. I wish you all the best, and hope you continue to share the chapters of your life with the universe. I'm sure I speak for a lot of people when I say that you truly are helping people with what you have to say. And the quote you have for a tattoo is just a remarkable statement I'm glad I heard today of all the days. Best regards from Macau, and thank you again :)
It's so sad that we have boxed ourselves in a perceived category as per society..... go to school-get a degree-get a job-get married-have kids-retire-die. If you are a certain age and don't reach certain goals , then people start badgering you.
I wish people practiced the adage - live and let live !!!!
No1 ... I repeat , no1 should be made to feel guilty of where they are in life... as long as you are happy and hustling and working hard for your happiness , you do you.
27 I feel so lost, work in the NHS its on my heart to move from the UK. Congratulations and blessing for your new journey!
Thanks for this video. It's true what you said about failure. Sometimes things don't work out how we want, but that doesn't mean they are failures. They are great opportunities to learn. And even if it doesn't look like we are making any progress, we are. The process is different for everyone, and we shouldn't judge others or ourselves at any time.
Congratulations! You inspire me! Good luck with your new life and goals!
I can relate to all you have been going thru and I cried too when you were sitting down on the floor in your bare house. Currently, I am in the UK but I was previously working in Abudhabi. I went to the same thing and you inspired me. I wish you all the best!
I’m 39 and I am starting over again and I am so looking forward to it. I absolutely love your thoughts ❤❤
Just found your channel, thanks for the relatable and empowering message and life experiences on failure, goals, and starting over! This video had such inspirational and insightful words! Morgan Harper Nichols has a quote that says " be kind to yourself on this journey, you have already come so far." Thanks for reminding us of this! Great idea about learning new skills, I have been watching Diane in Denmark Friday videos on her RUclips channel, where she gives four self-care assignments for the week and she mentioned creativity one week. Thank you again, your video along with a video by Cam Does It called finding peace and happiness amongst the mundanity has been really motivational this week!
That's a great quote, thanks for sharing!
This video came at a great time for me. You are a very motivational person and a strong woman. Much love and peace to you ❤❤
I am so glad I found your channel. Your videos are so calming.
I applaud you for having the courage to start over despite uncertainty! 👏🏾 I'll be going on my 1st solo trip overseas to Japan later this fall after years of wishing and talking about it. I'm terrified of all the what ifs, but I'm going to accept the fear and move forward instead of allowing it to keep me from doing what I've wanted to do for so long.
I've had the same dream of doing this myself! Good luck to you - hope it goes well :)
Hi your video came in a time that I feel devastated rejected and hopeless and not knowing what is going to happen to me your voice is soothing and what you are saying is powerful thank you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I really need to hear this I appreciate it so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’m happy for you; and ppl no matter what age should go after their dreams, change their lives at any given moment without judgement; because we all have free will to change our minds; and choose differently in peace; it’s beautiful what you’re doing ❤
Wanted to give you a hug when you cried. Good luck to you in your new chapter in life.
Congratulations on the leap. I am 40 and will be moving continent myself. Alone! You're brave. I too will share my journey soon.
First time watcher and I’ve come at the right time! Look forward to seeing the future ❤
I am 39 and moved to UK from France 3 years back. My first 25 years in India, 10 years in France, now been 3 years in UK. I am enjoying my stay in UK with my son and husband. We did plan to settle here before we moved. But life has plans , In 3 years time we are planning to move to Asia, either Thailand, India or Indonesia. I am equally excited and worried. Its a blessing and a curse to have plan B.
All the best . When you have the confidence, it becomes like a obvious reason to move. Go with the flow, life is going to be beautiful.😊
Hi Poppy! I am turning 38 as of tomorrow (in a few hours)! And your video popped up and I believe the universe is also sending me a message with this! Your video really resonated with me. Similar to you, I am Australian born Vietnamese lived in London, Paris, and Dubai, pivoted my career just shy of 2 years and been feel some friction the past month. I know I need to take action. That fear you mention... so REAL and I know it to well! I just have to remind myself to trust the path. Thank you for sharing this and showing your vulnerability. Best wishes and congratulations with your next journey of life! You are deserving! P.S This is my first comment ever on RUclips, I went against my grain X
Happy Birthday :)
You’re really brave - what a huge adventure! I can’t wait to see how it unfolds for you 😍
Your story resonates with me. I oddly uprooted myself at the same age as you just a few years ago to pursue my dream to go back to graduate school. It may have seemed irresponsible to others, but despite the challenge of quitting my job and leaving my home, I’ve received so many blessings and met people that have changed my life forever. Thank you for your video and courage to inspire others. 🙏🙏
At the same stage thinking to go back to graduate school start a new life. But not sure of how it will be to study in your late 30s. I guess it will be all okay :)
I'm so happy that worked out well for you and cheers to following our own path and dreams! 🍾

Congratulations. I’m 38 and migrating from my home country of Jamaica in the next few months. All the best on your new chapter. As my fellow Jamaicans would say….. ‘Jus dweet an done’
This could not have come at a better time for me. I’m preparing to move across the country, pivot in my career, and start completely over in all aspects of my life in my 30s. I’m equally excited and also so nervous and scared.
At 35, i moved on my own from South Africa to Ireland to better my career opportunities. Almost hitting the 2 year mark now...still single and trying to make new friends. It's definitely not easy, and I've had ups and downs. In the long run, I know it was best for me.
Thank you for sharing this, it is helping me a lot in my current situation. I hope everything goes well for you
Excited for you! My dream is to move to the north of Thailand and live in the countryside not too far from Chiang Mai. Keep us updated on the career change! Best wishes!!!!
Yesss! Sending positive vibes your way.☺️
Awesome attitude you have, in reality that is all we need in life. Blessings friend. Great video!
It’s all well and good to say it’s best to make those decisions early, and it’s just not how life often plays out. Or you do make the decisions early but later need to pivot. We are all on our own path.
Cheers and good luck
It’s funny. I’m 42, grew up in Thailand (though in American), came back to the states for college and business, and now looking to sell my business and relocate to Thailand with wife (Vietnamese but spent her whole life here in the states) and kid.
Life is a strange journey, and sometimes things happen in life which can be the spark which send you on a completely different trajectory.
Enjoy the ride, and without challenges there are no victories.
Best of luck!
We are just beginning our journey of wanting to move overseas with the family (maybe 4 or 5 years out). So we have a long road and patience and planning ahead
Hi Poppy! Congratulations on your new decision and career! I'm a RUclips creator from the US. I welcome you! Thank you for putting out great content that I can listen to while I do my costume making business. I consider you one of my go-to podcast type channels. It's nice seeing your views and similar eating style. Keep up the great work!
It's so timely. Thank you and appreciate you sharing this video.❤❤❤
Beginnings are difficult, unknown life journeys are scary but at least you are not doing it all by yourself… I did that alone and yours to me looks like a piece of cake. Good luck !
Oh my god this made me so happy !! I wait for your videos ❤ Please make a video on your career journey as a finance professional.
I'm also in the transition aspect of my life and have been thinking about career change and country. It's a hard decision for sure but sometimes we have to do it. I don't want to continue repeating the same thing all over again this year on holidays.
Thank you for doing this. Congrats for getting your work visa and the new job. You will succeed.
Society has created so much of an unconditional way of living and thinking. They’ve successfully brain washed lots of if not all humans to live up to that manuscript. Everyone curate a life accordingly , taking a leap or following your inner voice that echos fear, well it’s because the society made sure you developed an emotion when time like this present itself in your life. You may not believe into that fear that trying hard to talk you down but your conscious doesn’t unsee it. That’s why we cry and express sadness and fear. I applaud you for your courage. Freedom comes with courage and you my friend have that. I’m 44 and I’m still figuring it out. I’m excited to venture and create new opportunities and dive deep in things that appeal to me. Work towards my own guidance and set of rules, I’ll let them talk and form their opinions while I enjoy my venture. Best wishes on your new exciting journey, brave people make changes and brave people live with courage❤️
The absolute best of luck to you!!! 🥰💛 I hope all your dreams come true!
I 100% agree with you... it just wasn't the right time when you applied for the US last time (when things come together it's life telling you it's the right time 💛😊👍🏻 it's certainly NOT on any level a failure as you were trying 🥰💛 I hope you are super happy and everything goes beautifully in your lovely new life in the US 🥰💛
It takes a lot of courage to start over. It’s a risk many are afraid to make. Most would rather be miserable in a job they hate because of the “security” it offers. Having faith is risking it all with no guarantees!
Your video is so inspiring. I'm not moving country, but am seriously considering changing career and setting up my own business. At my age, the prospect of not having a steady income as an employee is a bit unnerving, but at the same time, I'm asking myself, if I don't do it now, when would I? Thank you, Poppy. I hope all goes well for you and yours in America. It all sounds so exciting!
Best of luck with your new journey 💫 can’t wait to know what is your new career is about and how managed to switch. We’ve also been thinking of moving to US because of job opportunities, it would be great if you could share how you both come this decision.
I’m wishing you nothing but the best for your move
Thanks so much!
I disagree with the earlier in life you make those three choices, the better. Doesn't really matter when you make those choices because your preference for those three things will change all throughout your life.
You know that's true, we change as we grow don't we
At 38, I just moved to the UK, after living in SG for a couple of years. Goodluck to us!
I'm 37. I'm financially broke. I don't really have a career. I'm taking care of an aging parent. But I will try my best every day. Currently learning a new skillset to do freelance online. You're not alone in this.
All the best in the US !!! Not sure why but I'm excited for you
I’m 8 yrs older than you. Last 10 yrs I transformed myself - from living in a temple as a nun to the worldly world. I’ve been struggling in life for a big while after that since living so long in the temples. But last 3 yrs I got a new job and I love doing it very much. I can also have time to meditate as I like and freedom as I want. I don’t know what the future lies ahead but I do love what I have today even no husband and no kids. Have a fun journey in the US 😊
Just found your channel and I find it extremely inspiring. It’s funny because I want leave the U.S. and go to Europe. I ha e always wanted to and now at 42 I will hopefully do it this year. Good luck on your journey!
Me too. I want to leave the US 😢

yiou inspire me! you willbe alright, dont even think about it.
Good luck on your new journey😊
I'm 41, feeling young, and no need to settle! 😄 Wishing you a great move to the US! (You'll probably get more sunshine there, depending on where you move)
I'm surprised you didn't move to Dubai, the lifestyle appears so much nicer (new subscriber)-than London, I wanted to say thank you for being so vulnerable and sharing your life, it makes me feel less alone!
Well now that you mentioned, we were weighting between either Dubai or Florida and ended up choosing the latter! :)
@@reinventingpoppy Florida sounds amazing too!, I would be worried about the crocodiles! haha,
@@reinventingpoppyGlad you chose Florida and not California. My family immigrated from Thailand to America in the early 90s to Cali, USA. California has changed so much since then. ❤
I like your channel, looking forward to seeing where your journey takes you.
Just stumbled across your video. No way! I’m also around the same age as you and have moved from UK to US for work. You’ll be fine, good luck 😊
I am 30 plus, lived in 4 contires.
I could see myself move to Italy.
GO GO GO!! TRY IT!!
Really enjoy your videos! Looking forward to more ❤
I resonate to everything you said and going through. I am also moving to another country soon. Thank you for this.
That's exciting, where are you moving to?
