This was the most mature conversation I’ve heard about Scientology and cult like behavior since I started watching u-tube creators protesting this cult.

Jus wanted to say that I was sorry for the way Mango attacked you in his post. It was not warranted. I think he took things too deep. I didn’t see anything you did that was malicious. I still believe 90% of the ex Sciento’s are so badly broken, I hope they can get the therapy needed & find peace.
Yeah agree. I'm not understanding why he's so against the protestors at all. I saw him praise them when he came by a few times but now he's all against them. 🤔 Unsubbed and I was just learning about his plight.

@@JodieQ85Because screaming at people & buildings, getting arrested, and destructive type behavior does not inform people on the real harms and abuses within Scientology. Tuning in to people walking around a building in LA or camping outside having a BBQ doesn’t help people learn what Scientology even is. Having a “disconnection” protest with signs saying “Scientology rips apart families through their toxic policy of disconnection” absolutely helps while peacefully standing ground & not breaking laws. Otherwise, if you scream saying “GET BACK IN YOUR CULT YOU COFFIN DODGER!” only reinforces to the Scientologists it’s being screamed to that we are all raging lunatics verbally attacking them. We aren’t any longer safe for them to want to maybe learn the truth of why we protest as Scientologists. They will only say “yup, that’s an SP.” It goes so much deeper than this, but 15+ years being here on the scene, I don’t expect a “never in” to understand when I’ve spent all that time in & out of Scientology & have researched and studied all the policies etc of Scientology. I’m an expert on the subject & have been used to share my knowledge in documentaries, in the news internationally, etc. I was making videos here when maybe 3-4 others were. I informed millions of the harm of Scientology. If you think taunting Scientologists on the sidewalk is more effective at educating versus a 2.5 hour documentary seen by millions, I don’t know what to tell you. Also, who did I praise exactly? I don’t watch RUclips anymore. I was driving home from Starbucks and in the video “look up DOA Steven Mango” for the 5 minute video where I asked what his name & channel was. He was a random guy to me filming & I even asked if he was for or against Scientology. I literally didn’t even know! I never “praised” anyone. Watch the protests on my other channel I did 7+ years ago compared to the modern day ones to see the difference in what a real protest looks like.
I did not attack him. The difference is being asked firmly to be left alone & do not bother me while I’m at the end of my rope, physically and mentally. All of us who are victims are not looking for help by DOA to fight or battles or share our stories. I just want to be left alone. See my comment to the other commenter below on this thread too.

I do think you were very hard on D.O.A. you can’t just accuse people of doing meth. Him & Lara are good people. They don’t deserve that. It’s bad enough that Aaron & Jay accused that. Unfair. Even though your suffering, don’t be ugly to others. D.O.A. was not trying to hurt you in anyway. He’s actually just trying to research COS, the abuses etc. I hold my opinion that you were out of line. Don’t throw people away so easily. Take care of yourself.
DOA I thoroughly enjoy you protesting scientology. You are an amazingly creative and effective protester, and I admire your dedication.
I am finding some of the recent streams questioning other anti-scientologists a little uncomfortable though. I appreciate your openness and willingness to ask tough questions. But, I'm worried you're focussed on personal differences with other creators above the cause. I don't want to see you unwelcome or chased off from this 'community'. I don't want to see you lose support.

@@ArleneK101Sometimes it’s good to get away from the insanity of crazy environments after awhile. All the groups that need and get protesting consist of very dysfunctional environments and people. I know I couldn’t protest against these cults daily for six months without losing my s-t. Scientology is an especially dangerous cult both physically and emotionally. Never judge someone’s choices if you haven’t walked in their shoes. And even then don’t judge. Everybody has difference tolerance levels.
