This was an awesome video. Please make more about your jinma.

To all Jinma owners, and Siromer owners in the UK, this is the ONLY You tube video anywhere on maintenance.I am asking why really, as I seem to have a fair amount of work on my 304 Siromer, which is essentially a rebadged Jinma for UK market, let's get some more info out here on YT, and no, they're not crap, you get what you pay for and have to get dirty hands occasionally, A bit like having a Landrover really....the parts prices over here is crazy, really encourages some old fashioned fixing and repairing....

@@G1yndyfrdwy Really? Maybe I should monetize this video.

Guess I will have to go back under again to see if the cable has come loose. Cheers

I have a Nortrac 25XT and I'm experiencing similar issues... guess I'm going to hop under the tractor and see what I can find! Thanks.

Has it lasted? I want a sub compact/compact with gear drive and for cheap. Is it any good?

@@Farmtractor yeah it works - my problem was corrosion in the negative battery cable, specificially there was a join with a fancy gel protected fitting thing that was introducing a lot of resistance. It's kind of odd that they came with 2 shorter cables joined rather than 1 longer cable. Anyway it just took some cleanup of the metal to get it running again. I don't think my FEL is as strong as it should be - not sure why.

@@Farmtractor no worries. I haven't tried the brush hug yet and I let a few acres grow this year... I'll know more in a month or two

@@Farmtractor If you're handy and can do your own wrenching, it's not a bad little tractor. I wouldn't call it tough by any means, but it gets the mowing and bucket work done that I need. I did have to rebuild the hydraulic cylinder in the power steering and weld the cylinder mount back on after it sheered the bolts off. Just a crappy design if you ask me. Some day I'll upgrade and buy a good tractor, but this gets the job done as long as I do my part.

I just bought a jimna 2420 tractor and I wanted to see if you might know what shredder I could run on it ? 4’ or 5’ ??

I'm running a5 foot wide on mine, just fine. A four would be too small, and a six might be a bit too cumbersome.

My instrument panel is not working either have you had any issues with wiring? Fuses all appear to be fine

@@richardabila4906 No wiring issues (yet). My instrument panel started working again, so I suspect user error was the cause.

Thanks for your time I really appreciate you. I wanted to see what filters you were able to find to fit the farm pro 2420? Oil, fuel, air?? Napa, wix, etc?

Sorry to hear that. I've had mine for 10 years and it's always been rock solid when starting, as long as I remember to let the glow plugs warm up on cold days (and I don't pull the clutch interconnect loose like I did here).
