I bought your Conscious Style Guide and just got the custom guide today. OMG! Can’t wait to shop those pieces and start putting more looks together that feel like “me”. I’ve been wearing black and athleisure way too long 🤣 (not my vibe)
'aesthetic' and 'core' culture over the past few years has made me feel like style is one little bubble i'm meant to constantly fit myself into. I get that it can make researching and curating a specific style more easy, but i also feel like it puts so much pressure to have everything perfect and curated in your wardrobe to one specific part of your personality, which just isn't the case. I've learned I like different styles and that they all belong under my personal style, which makes me far less anxious when I'm out shopping, knowing i don't only have to be looking for items that fit under some imaginary rulebook i've made for the clothes i wear. amazing video by the way!
I really struggle with accepting somebody else's style as my own. But there's one creator whose style I just crave so badly, the few pieces that I have that match her style are my absolute favorites and the ones I use the most. I should just accept that I want "her" style and can't be 100% original.
i struggled for the longest time with baggy pieces as i always thought, i had to look feminine. now i love wearing baggy pieces, because i feel so free and comfortable.
i just hit 40 and ive basically had the same style my whole life but i feel like its a bit too "teenager' so i'm trying to find my new style as im getting tired of my current look. i'm redoing my entire wardrobe. i tend to wear the same few outfits until the end of my clothes life. So fast fashion is a problem for me. And i didn't understand well made clothes for the longest time. I'm happy to spend money on investment pieces but finding them is the problem.
What was that on 3:12??? On topic, I can describe my style almost like you - simple/casual, effortless, but with some touch of unexpected (like, some detail in bold color, shape or something like that.)

I don't think there's anything wrong with that! If it works, it works :)

I'm not sure what you mean at 3:12, can you tell me what you saw? Not sure if there's a glitch in the video
