@luisa3804 I just watched that. And no, it's not even close. LOL. She's got the typical overly dramatic wimper. Harvey's in the scene was obviously short lived, but was some of the most truest (in the moment) emotions I've ever seen.
This gets me every time! The way his voice wavers, the way they look at each other, everything about this scene is perfection. It’s been 13 years, and they still look at each other full of love and adoration.
This scene just shows how much he cares about mike. The way his voice quivers is great. Really shows how emotional he is about this. This is also like the first time he isn’t confident in himself and mike “We might not win” “ it’s my goddamn fault” “ why should I be the one to throw him under the bus”
When Donna says “don’t fall on your sword again” it’s so desperate and emotional and she’s practically begging him and then he tells her “ I have too” and it really puts into perspective how much shit Harvey takes the fall for and how hard it must be for Donna to just watch while she’s safe because all he’s ever wanted was for her to be safe. It just makes me criiii
wow all this time later. coming back to this scene because i remember how his voice changes while saying “it’s my fault”. Truly amazing acting and emotions. Harvey is a great actor. Would’ve loved to see him in movies with a similar type of character. 😕😕
This is makes me cry every time I see it. It so emotional and powerful and I can feel his pain and agony and guilt in that split second...he is an amazing actor! I love him 8n the suits specially in this scene ❤️❤️❤️
also it’s crazy to see that this was the first and last time where harvey was the one in doubt when usually it’s always donna/the firm. Such a powerful scene
I know the writing could have been tighter in certain areas, but this is one of those scenes that highlights Donna's arena of strength. Donna has emotional sway over a great deal of individual firm members: she is constantly maneuvering the minefield of the Suits relationships behind the scenes, and did everything she could to keep everyone from collapsing/tearing each other apart, and nobody credits her for it because she's not in court wearing a fancy suit. This is Harvey facing one of his own biggest mistakes, and it's Donna who stops him from destroying himself, and it isn't the first time she's come through for him. She loved him, and many of her other colleagues. And God, did they need it.
Donnas been his secretary for 12 years and Mike drops into his life and actually changed him for the better and motivated him on day 1. The real love story here is Mike/Harvey (to kind of borrow from Maleficent break the curse/ “no truer love” theme)
I could watch this scene a million times and over again ! one can feel Harvey’s desperation to save Milke !! for someone like him, man of few words, this particular scene he expressed what is Mike to him & how ! ❤️ only bad about Suits is, I can’t watch it for the first time again ! I wish I had watched it any sooner…
I agree that "It's my God damn fault" steals it but to be fair, he his voice in "we might not win this" was also shakey... Donna accusing him for aiming to be a hero made him defend himself
And this is why she deserves Harvey bec she has always believed that he is worthy. Paula had to have Harvey leave Donna in order to prove that he is worthy.
"Because it's my goddamn fault". "No Harvey, its not." Well actually it is. He could hire Mike as a Paralegal which would be fine and then help him get into Harvard to become a legit lawyer. There would be no drama, no secret and Mike could have the same outcome without the Prison part.
This is what I've always said about the show, even though I *absolutely* love it. It's on my short list of favorite shows of all time. But I will easily say that the premise is problematic, and exactly what you said is the numver #1 reason why IMO.
He's been marked by Harvard as a cheater after that test taking incident. And Ivy schools talk to each other. Such is the way of long standing universities. No chance he woulda got in.
Donna's words felt useless "Show that you have faith in him" I mean Mike and Harvey are bros and things like these are understood without making a gesture
Under normal circumstances yes. However during this trial Harvey has made it clear that his faith in Mike is not as rock solid as it normally is. That's what Donna picked up on, it's the classic tale of logic (Harvey) vs emotion (Mike). Harvey needs to show Mike that he believes in him as a person; meaning he has to show emotion and not just be logical
@@sanyaneeraj1678that’s not love, that’s being selfish. More of her ridiculous manipulative behaviour writers always ruin female characters with because they think it makes them relevant and cool. She doesn’t want to sacrifice her own feelings, much like Rachel. What Harvey is feeling/doing (trying to help Mike- the willingness to sacrifice with no personal gain) is love.
Sorry Every scène switches from two people to two different people having short conversations. The place changes, the clothes change and the time moves on ... up to the end of Every episode. I watch this because everyone is fascinated by this soap series and I want to understand Why ?
The same reason people like any other series, they find the plot and the characters interesting. It’s just personal preference really. I feel the same way about game of thrones for example, I just don’t find it interesting enough even though most people who watch it go crazy about it.
"Because it's my goddamn fault". In all of suits, you never see Harvey this emotional and broken down. Very powerful scene.
Except his mother's funeral of course....
Yes.
The most underrated scene by Harvey ❤️
This is so emotional... seeing a tough guy like Harvey almost in tears
Abid Sayyed yea 😭
Aziz A Harvey is Not acting but gabriel.
You should learn the different 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Aziz A yes, you did the same
Facts!
@Aziz A ادعسهم ياعمري
Donna is the only one Harvey can be this vulnerable around. If this isn't love, then I don't know what is..
Aziz A it’s the characters lol
Dana Scott 💗🙄
And mike too
but the problem is still you realise you don't know and lots of things happen
It doesn't necessarily have to be love
You can be vulnerable in front your friend who cares about you and vice versa
The way their voices quiver, oh my God 💜
because they're very good actors!
That really was amazing acting
OMG, his voice while saying "It's my goddamn fault"
I've never seen an actor being so emotional in a scene like this, simply amazing.
Rami Haddad Yeah, the way he said that line is the whole reason I wanted to upload this!
Rami Haddad same ❤️😍😢
True, but watch Nina Dobrev crying over SPOILER Jeremys death in Vampire Diaries. That’s amazing acting 🥺
The hair on my face stands.

Hol' up? Yeah cool evrything cool, but 13 years?
Donna and Harvey worked together 13 years before they got together in season 9.
@@isabelle-vv5ns The op didn't said anything about them getting together but thanks for the spoiler.
That voice quiver when he says it’s his fault....spectacular job acting by Gabriel in this scene. One of the best in the show hands down..
This scene just shows how much he cares about mike. The way his voice quivers is great. Really shows how emotional he is about this. This is also like the first time he isn’t confident in himself and mike
“We might not win”
“ it’s my goddamn fault”
“ why should I be the one to throw him under the bus”
HARVEY. DUDE. You gotta stop LEAVING.
He finally did 😍😍😍🤘🏻
Hi Music lover, how are you doing?
this is one of the best scenes in the whole series !!! we rarely see harvey being so emotional.
I hope you saw Season 8 when Harvey visits Dr. lipschitz
@@singhashwi27 that wasnt nearly as emotional as this scene... Or the scene where he speaks in his mother's funeral🥺
The way he says fault, in particular. The inflection, the body language, his eyes. A fucking +
I love the fact you said fucking most people won't but fuck it when ot warrants it ... its fucking worth it

In my opinion this is the best scene in the whole series.
What acting ...What emotions ...
It's really hard to find the right words to describe this.
Such powerful acting from both here but especially Gabriel killed it with this one voice crack.
Powerful acting by Gabriel Macht.
Nice wordplay if you consider that "Macht" is german for "might/power". ^^
The moment we realize Harvey has a huge heart.
wow all this time later. coming back to this scene because i remember how his voice changes while saying “it’s my fault”. Truly amazing acting and emotions. Harvey is a great actor. Would’ve loved to see him in movies with a similar type of character. 😕😕
This perfectly shows that Harvey specter is not the kind of man who only cares about himself
He thinks caring looks weak. So he doesn’t want to appear to be a caring person. But deep down, Harvey specter is a very caring person.
Thanks to Mike, Harvey learned what caring is.
Mike always was first for Harvey.
Everyone who loves suits definitely they almost cry in this scene..
Absolutely top notch acting
I love scenes like this, especially as we hardly even heard Donna raise her voice
This is makes me cry every time I see it. It so emotional and powerful and I can feel his pain and agony and guilt in that split second...he is an amazing actor! I love him 8n the suits specially in this scene ❤️❤️❤️
Hi Anna, how are you doing?
I agree with you 💯
my all time favorite scene.
which épisode
m i Love the scene when he and mike are high❤️😂
Donna is just so wonderful..
Superb acting. Superb Gabriel ♥️🏆
A legendary scene, holy hell..
For me, it's one of the most emotional moment in TV series ever.
Love it. This is real world class acting
I have tears every time i see this 🥺
Gabriel macht is An incredible actor and he’s done an amazing job with his character
Very powerful scene, Harvey’s so vulnerable, his voice and the way he broke down is truly great acting, on both he and Donna ❤
Here is my exam tomorrow morning and i just clicked and now i can't stop , because it is my goddamn fault 😭😭
My exam is in 2 hours. I got it better. Hala.
Arsh Parnami mine too😅
Its 6 am here and I have exams at 9. Basically doomed
@@imsungjaesmelody.thesnorte5623 how did it go

Breaks my heart 💔

Your head canon doesn’t line up with show canon, but okay.
@@maralonent6257 yes it does, moron. Not my fault you weren't paying attention.
Such a fucking powerful scene. God damn.
Real emotions, so strong when he said this.
This is next level acting
This scene has so much power damnnnn
I'm a grow man. But this scene was a heartstab... harvey did a lot for Mike and seen him broken for first time... s4it...
Acting🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

I had to rewind this scene to believe that was Harvey. Gabriel was just amazing.
I agree that "It's my God damn fault" steals it but to be fair, he his voice in "we might not win this" was also shakey... Donna accusing him for aiming to be a hero made him defend himself
Just more proof Donna doesn’t really understand him or others, she just makes people think she does.
And this is why she deserves Harvey bec she has always believed that he is worthy. Paula had to have Harvey leave Donna in order to prove that he is worthy.
Gabriel Macht was amazing in this scene.
How Gabriel didn’t get any nomination or awards for this is beyond me!
This scene is by far the greatest in show of emotions.. I wonder if it's real or acting, seems real to me
“You don’t have to be the hero”
“I’m not doing it to be the hero”
“ then why the hell are you doing it”
“Because… it’s my goddamn fault”
Amazing acting
He’s not being honest with Donna here. He knows it Mikes fault, too. He just doesn’t want to blame Mike because love is blind.
Harvey Spectre It’s my Goddamn Fault
Most powerful scene in the entire show??
Seeing Harvey about to CRY is a punch to the gut
only 2 times we see harvey cry and both of them are with donna
He only cries in front of donna
u never throw a friend under bus--- he didnt
thats worthy
That's acting guys 👏
It was my fault..he said that word as if it's real .. awesome acting
Given how close the two actors are in real life this was probably easier to make believeable
Subscribers don't matter content matters 😎
Probably Gabriel Macht's finest moment as an actor
Fucking amazing acting right there
Harvey cares about Mike, it's so obvious.
💗
"Because it's my goddamn fault".
"No Harvey, its not."

its funny how he was so easy going with hiring a fraud in season 1, and now in season 5 hes losing his shit over it
To come think about it
I can say the same 🫡🫡
show me better acting from harvey, you cant!
damn onions
This is justice. Love is justice.

darvey forever
Does no one else think he sounds Scottish at 0:30?
And it’s right after she talks about falling on his sword
Donna being selfish again. Using Harvey's emotions against him to convince him to let Mike take the fall for him because she doesn't wanna lose him
She loves harvey way too much to see him fall for anyone
