if you watch it on a big screen like 65" 4k TV as monitor, you'll notice S21U has lot more details to offer in the shots. at time it may seemed over sharpened, but if you look at shots of the flowers, or the selfie cam, the details are definitely there, way more than what the V60 has captured.

I'm used to be a LG user but after switched to Samsung, I'm 100% not switching back to LG base on day to day living I'm feel convenience with what Samsung provide to me. The S21 Ultra will be my next device.

Samsung did such a good job. Front facing cam video quality looks like the rear cam. Dynamic range and clarity are big hits the for selfie cam on the 21 ultra. I do believe it is the best out there right now. The hm3 sensor in 12 mp mode(21 ultra) is probably in third or fourth place, behind the mate 40 pro and p40 pro and (possibly) behind 12 pro max but it's like, very close with all those 4 main cameras so it's personal preference. I think the ultras main sensor in day light has the best video, even better than the iPhone and definitely beats out the hauwei devices. In low light it's a different story. IPhone might take that one.

Bruh that's nonsense, im a LG can but the s21 ultra photo clarity and detail is much higher, viewing them on a high res screen and the Samsung detail is very rich, doesn't mean the v60 shots are TRASH but expectedly the newer Samsung phone takes better pictures... This is where we need the v70 to take on the s21 ultra but that doesn't look like its gonna happen... Seems im gona have to move to oppo or xiaomi for my next phone now LG are finished

The s21u has amazing detail but got damn I have never seen such natural photos and audio from a device like the v60, that is literally a photographers gem. It's crazy how the grass looks neon"ish" on the s21u yet retains all that detail, why did they do that?
for me it was 1200$ vs 400$. Yes ultra is better with zoom and a bit overall sharpness, but is it worth to pay 3x ? for me -no, chose v60, and i will make better photos then ultra anyway, since i know how to take them and edit them :)
In my mind, if you have an lg v60 it doesn't worth upgrading to Samsung's but i do have to admit even as an Lg's fan: in many situations the s21 ultra is on top of v60 when it comes to clarity and the dinamic range of the front facing camera is way better then the Lg. In order for Lg not to disappear i will also buy the next versions of mobiles if they will produce any, hopping that all Lg fans will do the same!
Hey preach, very good review. At this point in time, I can't see buying any LG phone? Their future is in Limbo? Always enjoyed their phones but losing 4billion over the yrs is a very 😥 sad story. But I guess they can't blame anybody but themselves? Updates & marketing has taken its toll!

@@trinikenshin yeah I believe gcam is not that great. It's buggy, it crashes, ois don't work, all the camera features don't work. And more I can't recommend anyone to go to xda and waste time trying to figure out and find the 100s of flawed gcam software that's on there to try and get one that works. My total recommendation is to buy a pixel if you want a google camera. All the gcam videos I have made was a total disaster and I'm sorry I made them. I'm committed to never put my community through that. Many people complained about how gcam sucked. Lol I hope you understand my stand point about gcam.
