As a Korean heritage, my humble suggestion is to add pear or apple puree and plum extract when you cook the meat. Fruit puree has alkalinity which tenders the meat and plum extract enrich the deep flavour for the meat that sugar cannot achieve. Meat sliced into strips will be my personal preference but not necessary. Love your cooking !!
when I'm too lazy, tired, or under time constraints, I use ground beef or even shaved ribeye (to kind used for steak subs) so it saves time on slicing. and if I'm feeling extra lazy, I'll just use an egg yolk instead of frying up a sunny side up egg. stir frying the kimchee is also another yummy option.
@@Marionskitchen thank you Chef! Love your channel. subscribed recently and DYING to try your bacon/kimchee udon with deep fried poached egg recipe! I will very soon.
Bibimbap is just like pantry pasta in Korea! Put what ever sidedish or veggi left in your fridge in a bowl w rice, toss a egg on top, spoon of gochujang&sesame oil and mix it all up🔥 If you can't handle spice, soysause+sesame oil+some sugar+minced garlic is a ligit and delish option
I love adding a dash of ACV and sesame oil to my bibimbap sauce. I freeze the beef for about twenty minutes then slice it very thinly. I marinate the beef in plum extract, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, onion and nashi fruit. This marinade also works beautifully with mushrooms! I then throw it all on my crunchy rice sizzling in my dolsot.
I just made this for lunch and just had my very first home-made bibimbap. Delicious! I didn't realise how easy it is. Love your bibimbap recipe Marion. You're my 'go to' for my Asian meals. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I love bibimbap, so I make dolsat (stone pot) bibimbap bc I love the golden rice crust. The veggies are same, except instead of used mung bean sprouts or soy bean sprouts. This is such an easy meal especially if veggies are cooked together. Are used to separate it individually like the restaurant, but at home it doesn’t matter because it gets all mixed in anyway, these are one of my favorite. Quick meal especially if you have leftover rice and veggies that need to be cooked ASAP..
Thank you, Marion! I love bibimbap but never make it at home as it’s so cumbersome. But your easy version I can totally do. Thanks for all the great recipes!!!
I love that I have the notification bell on! It makes it that much easier for me to see you first!! Another great recipe that I will be trying out! Thanks
Though I don’t eat beef, I have to try out this recipe using chicken. It looks so delicious that it will be a shame not to try it. Thanks a lot for sharing this recipe.
The vegetable, meat and sauce portion of bibimbap is so versatile that we can even add it to whatever long noodles we have in the pantry (soba is my all time favorite) and create bibimmyeon. Definitely obsessed with this dish
Wow! This will be the answer of my cravings on Korean food since we don’t have a resto here in Norway I am going to make this yummy looking bibimbap😊😊😊😊😊 thanks for the easy recipe 😘😘😘
Marion you rock my world in cooking here!!! You’re the BEST... you make cooking sooooo fun yet so irresistible!!! I’m your next crew on your ship to some more ‘FLAVOURS TO SAVOUR’... 🤩🤪🚣♂️🥇🚢⛴🛳🛥
Please deliver this to me right away, my mouth is watering! There's something about your videos, so full of texture, and shine, you can almost taste it, and the food always looks amazing! That slow motion sizzzzle effect makes me sooooooo hungry for whatever you cook, but it's too late to cook now, so please FedEx this to me now, so I can have it for breakfast, ok? 🤣
You have been my crush since i saw you on Masterchef Australia....everytime i see you smile i just forget all my worries and go to my happy place....🥰🥰🥰

I recently started using Textured Vegetable Protein as a meat alternative, this would be perfect for this as it soaks up other flavours very well.
