@@Tstreet91 First off I have to say that this dish is really easy to make and it is really quite delicious - i’ve made it probably a dozen times so far in the last six months or so Given I’ve made it a few times now I’ve played around with the quantity of the garlic and plum extract (we use apricot jelly) and our family has found it great just as it is in the video - if you don’t want as much garlic I’m sure you could lighten that up but given the sort of braising that takes place in the cooking, the garlic really mellows out

cheese why would anyone want to butcher a authentic dish like that and why is he even in the video
@@torpedohost Shut up.
Kobe Superfan it’s not authentic to use ground beef in the first place. I know a Korean sandwich shop that makes bulgogi subs with cheese.

She has apricot jam as an alternative if u don't have plum extract. She lists it in her description box with her recipe.
Yes, I do use apricot jam often.
you could substitute cooking sake and sugar for mirin. cooking sake is just the cheap sake in the huge bottles.
Her husband looks very happy. 🤓 Her cooking won his heart for sure💕

I have been waiting for this video!!! Love you!!
I sent an IG message to Jacob about this, but want you to see it, too: Last night my Partner decides he wanted Bulgogi. Bulgogi on Labour Day evening. I remembered this video and tried it - my man was iffy about it, but when he saw how much Jacob enjoyed it he gave it a shot "Jake obviously loves it. THAT is a Bulgogi happy face. If Jake likes it that much, I want some!" An hour later, NO leftovers, and he practically licked the bowl clean LOL Thank you both so much for making these videos! I love Korean food anyhow, but my partner was stationed in South Korea with the Army for MANY years and was married to a Korean lady, so we eat a LOT of Korean dishes - and your videos have REALLY helped me learn. Thank you and Jacob for making our lives better! (have to get some of your shirts now!!!)
Made this twice in a week and my husband loved it! Thanks !
It looks yummy, I will definitely try this in my Eastafrican kitchen.
Anyong-ha-shimni-ka! I must try this. I met my wife in South Korea and we love making various Korean dishes! Just made some yaki-mandu the other day!
I tried this recipe with the Trader Joe’s beefless ground beef and it was SO GOOD!! As a meat eater I literally could not have told you that it wasn’t real ground beef with this recipe! I’m excited to have it as lettuce wraps for lunch! Thank you for another DELICIOUS recipe!!
Verry different nutrutuonal profile and ingredients
New sub here! And I’m soooooooooooo happy I found you! I can’t wait to start making some of these meals.🤗❤️
