Only Aisin transmission equipped trucks are High Output and any trucks with 68rfe are standard output

Aisin dip stick is on the right side.
68rfe dip stick is on the left side.

Easiest way to tell is look under drivers side just above drive shaft. Blue tag on side of transmission will say Aisin. For 2019/2020 years they are only available in 3500hd trucks according to Chrysler
Another great job by Mat. I'm loving' my 2019 done by him. Pulled the horse trailer for the first time today, 3 horse Bison with full living quarters 13,000lbs empty, had 2 horses in there so 16,000lbs or there abouts. Lots of power to haul it around.

The only mod a Dodge w/ Cummins ever needs is a driver mod. Keep it stock (with no emissions), Straight pipe to keep those egt's down when hauling heavy. Lift pump that filters down to 2 micron. And most importantly, change ALL the fluids when it says to with what it says to. A mil is right around the corner if you can do that.
I have OCD; what do you do with the unplugged wires under the truck when you’re done?
I'd assume zip tie them outa the way and neatly hidden, that's what I do atleast.
You can trace them back and there is connectors you can completely disconnect all wires. I just did my 19 last night🤙🏻

Well I've got an 03' tuned by Mat that runs like a rocket, got a 4th gen, now I gotta get a 5th gen to delete and tune and I'll be set!!!

Thinking about purchasing a tune for my 18 G56 truck. Does your tunes get rid of the annoy torque management that makes the truck fall flat on its face on a fast 3-4 shift or 4-5 shift? Also can you enable PTO mode for high idle like the cab and chassis trucks? Or all the autos for that matter.
What's the tune you are jamming in the background? It seems familiar.

Its been the same procedure for years. Same trick works in all cummins 03-19
@@Cumminslife It is unclear to me if you latched the seat belt or just opened the rear window to make the chime go away.

Pros... truck will have more power... Cons... truck will be more likely to eat its transmission early... will be harder on already sketchy emissions components... I would not own a new diesel that wasn't deleted

Are all the plugs the same on a 2021 on the exhaust? How about the def tank plugs? I’m thinking of doing the same thing and leave it all on just unplug items. Thanks
I have a 19 needing tuning. What do you recommend? I’m in AZ but last week went to Mexico and some exhaust parts rattled loose and prob gonna fall soon.
If you see this today 12/4/22 I need assistance ASAP please. I purchased a tune but was never given an extra slot/license for vin. Autocal is only limited to 1 and can’t make another purchase even if I wanted to. Need this taken care ASAP because it’s my only source of transport and my work horse. Thank you!

Older video I know. Why did they put that offset in? Was an odd place and look like it served no purpose.
Usually you can tell by the diff cover if its finned it's a H.O. motor if it's not finned from factory it's not H.O. motor
This truck is a ho truck but the diff covers are not finned.
@@Cumminslife oil dip stick, or trans dip stick, is located on the driver side of the engine vs the passenger side on H.O.s. Forget which one it is.
Did the seatbelt trick on both my trucks..... Had I known, would have saved years of aggravation...... Lol

Yeah HO only comes with the aisin but not all aisin trucks are ho.
@@Cumminslife from what I've seen if it has an Aisin it is a H.O. Even Cummins website says so. Not arguing but pertaining to 2018 like I have, I have not found a truck with an Aisin and not have the HO. www.cummins.com/engines/67l-cummins-turbo-diesel-2018?v=3721&application=Pickup%20Truck
I think the chassis cabs and 4500 and up can come with a detuned engine and an aisin. 370 or 385 horse. So I’m pretty sure you can get an aisin without HO.
James Endicott that’s because they’re meant to be for a company, so they do that. Bust regular personal consumer trucks are high output.
@@jamesendicott4938 agreed, cab & chassis trucks (like most manufacturers) are detuned since they mostly see a commercial use. My other comments on the subject are referring to pickups, 2500 & 3500 pickup trucks like Cummins specified on their website link I provided in the other comment.
what type of software/ computer are you using reverse engineer the code?
Has one smoke very heavy and lagged after start up? Then cleared out after revs?
Does that tune allow you to pass inspection?
They are now side lining/ red flagging any diesel with out factory emissions in our state
You need to invest in some lights for your shop
Does unplugging but leaving everything up front effect how it runs? If the EGR and cooler and all that were removed would it run better?
It’s best to pull it, but you don’t have to at first, if you don’t want any egr coolant problems later then definitely remove it at some point.
It’s so sad to see all the massive canisters and electronics on that exhaust. What’s wrong with a pipe.
I miss when you bought a Cummins and there wasn't a bunch of BS under the hood.
How come you didn’t delete this truck like the other 2019 earlier? I think you used block off plates?
It is deleted. Only difference is the under hood equipment was not removed. Only unplugged.
Removing everything under hood is not required but it does make it much cleaner and easier to work on.
Optimal Welding this is a "stealth" delete. Can't tell from just looking under the hood that it's modded.

That exhaust brake sounds crazy. Its awesome that you know these trucks so well. I have a 19 cummins and want to delete it soon, i would definitely go with your tuning.

3rd gen 6.7 trucks are the only cummins I dont have tuning for. Just simply have not got my hands on one to develop it yet...

hey Jay, tell me more about it.. pls my tranny shifts crazy too and it's all stock! plan to put PPEI tune on and see how that works. I still have all the exhaust crap on as I'm worry about the warranty.. which is done in a year.. but putting a tune on, the dealer has to proof that the damage was caused by the tune to void warranty, so I can take that risk, but not the delete. I also heard a story from XDP (Extreme Diesel Performance) that even crossing the border now a days can be a problem with the delete as EPA goes nuts on this now!!! So I'm really not sure what to do at this point with the delete, specially when I'm out of warranty anyway. But my concern now is, when I put the tune on, how will the tranny deal with it, specially shifting.. oh and I pull regularly 20K toy hauler...

Optimal Welding at the time I was talking with the VP of FP and he was telling me all that ... I have the stainless 5" turbo back for my c&c ... I'm good ... you're right tho ... let folks get it installed up there ... don't try crossing the border with the box lol

I have an appointment to do the same thing next week except I also added the ram air cold intake as well as the Ram Air pipes. Additionally which I can't wait for 3 weeks from now my American 4th 22-in rims will come in I got 37 inch tires and amp steps I'm using the three and a half inch leveling kit in the front in 2-inch leveling kit in the rear she's going to be sitting pretty soon

A shame we have to pay for all that technology to then just unplug it all to get the truck to do what we want. Probably Save 10k at least off msrp if it could be spec’d without all the BS DPF emissions junk.
You can NOT get an HO in the 2500. If its a 3500 with an Aisin Trans its is a HO. Now wait!!!! You are flashing the truck and have no idea how to tell if its an HO? SCARY!!!
I love what you are doing with the trucks but the EPA pretty much made it a chrime to make any kind of emissions mods. Do you have a primer on what are the liabilities (fines, criminal charges etc) and work arounds if any. I live in Ontario Canada and seem to be close to the border so I'm guessing you could help me out.

So I have a question on my 04 5.9 Cummins
I've got the NV5600 6 speed and when I'm shifting I'll go from say 3rd to 4th, when I throttle up in 4th the truck will hesitate as though it's not getting enough fuel or not feeling properly
I changed the fuel filter got brand new air dog filters for the air dog system I've got and that was before the hesitation started
I've for 224k on what I think are stock injectors too. Along with it cranks fast but 7-8 seconds
Do you have any ideas?
