Wow it is so simple it is almost ridiculous. I remember this from 5th or 6th grade haha! I thought it would be much more complicated but when a good teacher understands the topic well they can usually explain it in a comprehendible fashion. Good job on a great video!

because B brackets I indices D division M multiplication. A addition S subtraction

What I don’t get is u don’t subtract from both sides. Eg 2y = 6 + 3x if you were to subtract 6 from both sides wouldn’t the equation be -4y = 3x?
you can’t solve 2y-6 because the like terms aren’t the same so you leave the equation as 2y-6

there is one more method that u can just collect the different variables at one side and keep the variable( that is to be made the subject) kept constant . that is much easier than this one i think.

From my understanding,the rule is you do the inverse: if it's + you would subtract
If the value is dividing you will times it
Etc.
your trying to cancel out the value, so you do the inverse
As a German I don´t know why I understand these English videos better than my math lessons
