It never got any better than this.
Gobbi's performance here is unsurpassable. I can't get enough of him.
Still you can clearly hear that he could really sing just one octave (d2 to d3).

I plan to do some operas from other composers first, but Fanciulla will be my next Puccini :)

@@RyanPower Le coq d'or (The golden cockerel) or maybe the Tale of Tsar Saltan (which contains the famous flight of the bumblebee)
