Thanks! Chenier is. Good idea. Love that. I’m finishing up La Traviata currently.
@@mocmus Great, looking forward to that. May I suggest other wishes? Puccini: Manon Lescaut, Tabarro, La Fanciulla del West. Wagner: Tannhäuser, Tristan
Thank you!
19:10 noted for later for Qual occhio Al Mondo
Can you buy this? I love Tosca, but just want a copy of the music without the words. Is it available?
Gav, do you have software by which you can download RUclips videos for free? That’s how you do it.
@@mocmus I worked it out. Thank you! Watched it in Covent Garden on Monday with Russell Thomas and Angel Blue.

29:03 fu usata come sigla del Gazzettino Toscano

Please do Turandot!
It’s on my to do list. I’m working on La Boheme right now.
It reminds of Richard Strauss. It is a big step from rustic Verdi towards postromanticism.
Absolutely, I think Puccini is peak romanticism tbh. You could almost say Rachmaninoff is his successor, same sort of musical trajectory
