“Killing your mother… it’s a fixed point” - 9x10 And the fact that killing Nora Allen herself didn’t make “original timeline” RF vanish from existence, even when he’s from a timeline where the Flash gets his powers in 2020 and his existence wasn’t bound to the NSF Tells you EVERYTHING you need to know.😂 If the Flash who got his powers in 2020 vanished, since he was the one who “bedazzled the crowd” and not the one who got his powers in 2016, an entirely different Flash, then the “original timeline” Reverse Flash should’ve vanished along with him. The only way for the Reverse Flash to still be alive is the fact that our Flash in this timeline was indeed the one that stole Thawne’s glory in the future. Because as the theory proved, his existence was entirely time-bound (before someone comes and says “the NSF prevented him from fading out of existence”… 1. he showed to have problems with his speed throughout season 1 2. Rewatch Armageddon. That precious NSF didn’t save him there, did it?) Oh, and for those who are gonna say “S9 Barry’s only job was to warn his past self not to save Nora since OG Flash was still fighting Thawne”… when OG Flash knocked Thawne out, there was still lightning heard. If OG Flash was truly there… why wasn’t past Barry warned twice? One warning from “S9 Barry” and another warning from “OG Barry”. Except, we never see both versions of the Flash warn his past self. Further proof that it was our Barry all along. 😂there was never an original timeline.
If Future Flash truly disappeared, then that “original timeline” Reverse Flash should’ve joined him in disappearing. If that timeline didn’t come to exist anymore, neither would that version of RF exist anymore. Instead, the “original timeline” RF stays in 2000 and plays out the events of the show to create the Flash, not at an earlier time, JUST HOW IT WAS MEANT TO HAPPEN. If an “OG RF” sits and creates the Flash earlier, and if “OG RF” can exist in an entirely new timeline where “OG Flash” vanishes?? If that doesn’t tell you there isn’t an original timeline idk what will💀💀💀
This theory was proven from the very first episode imo, it’s only that this great man took 5 seasons to piece it together and fully prove it, only for it to be confirmed in 9x10

First off, Thawne still existed in the timeline at this point...as in, he would still be born in the future, irrespective of whether Barry became Flash or not. That's pretty significant in terms of preserving the existence of the time-traveling version of himself. Usually when we see a character get erased, its not because their traveling back becomes impossible, but because their very birth becomes impossible. That's the case with Thawne himself (once Eddie commits suicide), with OG Nora West-Allen (since COIE is preponed to 2019 and Barry dies before she's conceived), and with Savitar (since once Iris doesn't die in 2017, Barry won't create the time remnant in 2021). Now its possible that had Thawne taken no action to ensure the Flash's existence, this version of him might have been erased eventually, and the only Thawne would be living in the future with no memories of ever knowing about the Flash or becoming a speedster. But, almost immediately after killing Nora, Thawne starts taking steps to ensure that Barry becomes the Flash. So he has some leeway. Its a game of probability. As long as it's theoretically possible that in the future Barry could become the Flash (and thus Eobard would become the Reverse-Flash), time-traveling Thawne continues to exist.

But the RF we saw in all the seasons are not the RF from this 2014 timeline . 2020 timeline's Barry somehow learn about the Crisis of Infinite Earth event which was set to happen in 2024 so he should have searched a way to remain alive ( or to make sure one of his timeline remnant lives) and as RF told Barry in season 3 2nd episode "The you that I know , he's not this stupid" so 2020 timeline Barry is smarter than the other Barry ( maybe he was smarter than all other versions of him ) and he has got Gideon ( which the 2020 timeline Barry created) . So Gideon most probably found a way for him to be alive and to have a family ( we have Gideon calculating complex time traveling stuffs for the LOT) . Season 9 episode 10, 2020 timeline RF told 2014 timeline Barry that he ( referring the version of the Flash he knew) actually created a timeline so that he/ or his timeline remnant could live . From all of this I have understood one thing , these two timelines merged together at the time when 2014 Barry faced 2020 timeline RF in 2000 and by doing so he ensured he remains alive. But there is another thing which I noticed and it can easily prove that 2020 timeline existed . The Thawne which arrived in season 9 episode 10 to kill Barry as a child was not enraged and he came in 2000 in daytime while in season 1 we see Thawne coming out from a portal and Barry's running after him. These can suggest that the Thawne we saw in season 9 episode 10 was indeed from 2014 timeline and there was a timeline in which Barry became the Flash in 2020 and created timeline by letting Thawne kill his mother in the past . And just like Harry Wells said in season 2 episode 11 "Barry's mother's death is fixed point in this timeline and nothing can change that from happening".

Thawne telling Barry to change time and save his mom he knew one day that Barry would do it and create savitar but as long as it doesn't affect him and the timeline negatively it doesn't matter he is still the only speedster that knows how to correctly manipulate the timeline too get what he wants
This !!! i have been thinking of this so much recently since i’ve been rewatching. he knew savitar would be created. that’s the plot twist in my mind, i swear. it still shocks me how amazing thawne is with his knowledge as a speedster. he wanted to be like the flash, better and wow his ability to manipulate the speed force, well his negative speed force .. it’s so intriguing in a way.

This would also mean savitar was always there, and wasn’t a product of flashpoint like some people believe. In season 3 episode 15, savitar did say “when you created flashpoint, you unwittingly provided me with the means for my return”... I do think things happened differently and made a new outcome with savitar, because of flashpoint being being created. Although it is kinda weird, and it would mean there is a timeline somewhere out there where his mother never died, because then there wouldn’t be a reason to make flashpoint to begin with. Do we know if flashpoint was a destined thing? If flashpoint was a destined thing in the first place it would’ve made savitar escaping from the speedforce much quicker, but for some reason savitar had to wait for it to happen.
Being it as a fixated loop there is no telling. Classic case of the chicken and the egg. However if the timeline is malleable then there could be something that started that loop but there has to be something else to fixate that loop and eventually something that ends it. A dying speedforce could do tough.

I agree with everything except Eobard always being responsible for creating the Flash. He said ‘create’ instead of ‘recreate’ because that timeline would not have a Flash if it wasn’t for him. We also now from season 2 that the real Wells successfully makes the particle accelerator explosion because Thawne mentions it after spying on Harrison and Tess (saying sorry, his accelerator has to be built earlier so he can go home before it’s original completion date) Overall, great video!!
You forgot about Gideon and the time(line) Eobard originates from. Remember that in s2 he had problems finding out the Flash's time period - which shows Thawne isn't personally knowledgeable as everyone makes him seem to be. Plus, you forgot about Gideon. She is made by Barry and listens to him, yet she helps Thawne? That means Gideon lied to Eobard about Harrison Wells being the original creator of The Flash. Remember that s2 Team Flash was all about keeping the timeline intact. It took Eobard 15 years to realize that. But he did it. You have no confirmation of the original timeline except some lies(fed to Team Flash) from Thawne and his misinformation he shows to the audience(the 2020 Wells&Tess stuff said to him by Gideon) Plus, according to Eobard, in that flashback scene where he kills Wells and assumes his likeness, Wells and Tess didn't even create The Flash in the year 2020 - given it was a successful launch. Also, season 2 says nothing about Tess and Wells being successful. S2, on contrary, says that The Arrowverse is a complicated time loop. And that Eobard always made The Flash.
He said 'create' because he is the one who used the p.a to give Barry his powers. If you believe in the og timeline, then the p.a never exploded because it was successfully launched in 2020.
Reverse Fuhrer in the o.g. timeline, I always assumed the p.a. exploded; Thawne just needed to do it himself sooner. He even explains this in Legends of Tomorrow how he copied the p.a. design to receive to become a speedster. (I’m just hoping not to get this confused with the comics) Again, great video.
So, very interesting video, I really liked the approach. But we need NOT to forget that the reverse flash of s2 is a younger version of him, he doesn’t even know the name of the Flash and he hasn’t kill his mother yet. In the beginning of the episode, asking Gideon “where the hell am I “, that means that he time travel randomly in the past trying to find out time is flash coming from. That means that or they have met somehow in a random time in a fight, or is their very first meeting. The paradox is: 1) that Thawne already know that the origin of the flash is because of a reaction, which he dublicated and he obtained his own powers (his own speed force maybe), but he doesn’t know his name yet, 2) if is the first time they meet, doesn’t make sense because in that version of reverse flash , the flash stroke by lightning was in a different year (2020 if I remember correctly), so the story Eobard know about the Flash is different than the timeline they meet. That’s a paradox. 3) how is possible to be able to travel back in time, but not be able to travel without the help of the tachyon device? 4) how is possible to have Gideon, which was created by Barry Allen, and doesn’t have revealed the time is from or the name of The Flash? 5) Probably, when reverse flash returns to the future, he goes to a different future than he was before or at least with different events happened in the past for him, than he used to know. Anyway, these are my thoughts. Is very confusing the whole time travel store and very interesting.
The Reaper thawne creating that time loop so his past was Barry’s future and he seemed to know what was going to happen that’s why he creates a time remnant every time he gets wiped from the existence of time that’s why when Barry says In crisis on earth x, “I thought you where dead” he just simply created a time loop so if he did die he can create another time remnant

@@abdulbutt1162 the Negative Speed Force contradicts all the previous seasons. Besides, the normal Speed Force can do that too. That is how Barry and others were able to make Time Remnants. Because the SF preserves them in itself.
You know speaking of time loops i read a theory where Nora did die in the original timeline where she was killed by an unnamed burglar, so right there is where when Thawne went back in time and he became Nora's killer and created the time loop where he must kill Nora because like Thawne said it was Nora's destiny to die, it's like that episode in Family Guy where Stewie is in a time loop where he created the universe and therefore created him.

Notice in the scene where Barry was fighting Reverse Flash in the football field, there were lights in the stadium that looked like two lightning chasing each other 5:10, but it stopped as soon as Eobard put Barry to the ground

If there was no original timeline, then how come Thawne tells the real Harrison Wells that he along with Tess successfully launched the particle accelerator in 2020 instead of 2014? Flash created Gideon , Gideon takes any and every one of Barry’s commands. Barry told Gideon to give Thawne fake dates but enough for him to get Barry’s name travel back to that night and kill Nora so he has to create Flash
11:28 and when the wormhole opens we see Jay's helmet (zooms) fly through and eobard says "that's my cue to leave" this implies he knows earth 2 has just been accessed and zooms story shall begin.
I thought the reverse flash gets his speed from the negative speed force from which he created himself... it doesn't make sense why he would lose his speed even if Barry doesn't become the flash because the speed force has always existed and his negative speed force should still work as long as the real speed force is still alive... but yeah this is a major plot hole along with many other

He even explains to Nora how to access it. The negative speed force is fueled by negative energy(meaning hate and anger) Thats how he gained access to it, his hate for barry fueled HIS connection to the speed force and made it negative, but its still part of the actual SPEED FORCE

I believe that there is no og timeline. The future flash made sure that these events countinue to happen by programing Gideon to help eobard. It's all a setup. Eobard is used as pawn to set these things into motion. Hence it's like the Terminator movie, John sends Kyle to the past so that he could be born.
3:40 Actually he asked Ronnie to check the parameters, not to go into the particle accelerator. Ronnie goes into the particle accelerator after it starts malfunctioning, in order to isolate it and redirect the blow so not to kill everyone in the building. The rest of the theory is nice and quite intriguing. And I forgot to mention but also, when you say he said that he created the flash, and not recreated him (8:27), the other proof of that is that if there was a timeline where Nora was alive and Barry became the flash thanks to Harrison and Tess's particle accelerator, then why isn't he the flash in flashpoint, since flashpoint would be the recreation of this so called original timeline? This prooves Nora was always supposed to die
I think the one piece of evidence here that is compelling is that Future Flash doesn't save Henry and Nora along with his younger self. I still believe there's an original timeline, but Future Flash's actions that night are very peculiar.

To me, OG timeline does exists yet it was only present in one instances of our Barry : when he was 11 years old. The Flash from S1 was never in the house in the first timeline, the second timeline however S1 Flash was there. Another proof of OG timeline is that Barry and RF were fighting off and came out of a portal to 2000. However, compared to S9, both of them didn’t come out of a portal but were teleported by a mysterious force (Cobalt Blue’s stone) and had a chat.
I have a theory that acually orginal Barry was Savitar who was thrown away by Team Flash( after he had returned to 2024 from 2000) and by Barry 's actions from season 2 (Flashpoint) he was able to live in his time, his timeline. He was trying fix what Reverse Flash 's done .However being thrown away and losing his mother caused him became evil version of the Flash.
Another thing is, if in flashpoint if Barry's mother didn't die, and it was Thawne that changed the timeline to kill her, wouldn't that mean that in flashpoint Barry should have still been the flash, and that the particle accelerator should've been launched successfully by Harrison Wells and Tess Morgan.

Can you please explain to me the events of season three of The Flash when Barry created the Flashpoint, he created two timelines and when he tried to go back to the original timeline, Jay Garrick stopped him from changing the timeline again, so what happened and it stands out that speedsters within the multiverse can feel changes of other speedsters since they are connected by the speed force, so can you make a video explaining this two concepts.

**warning the following text is very long** Technically for universe 1, there was an original timeline. Because think about it this way. Who was the first person to alternate the timeline? It was eobard thawn. This happened because, well he wanted to make sure that barry could not become the flash. In doing this he didn't have enough speed in order to get back to his original time period. In doing so he was left stuck waiting for barry to grow older. So he became Harrison wells. In doing this he was able to make the particular accelerator occur much faster than in the original timeline. He made the particle accelerator happen and everything goes like in the show. The second time someone alters the timeline is the one and only Barry Allen himself. He goes back in time and takes down reverse flash. In doing this he was sent into an alternate reality. Were his parents never die. He was losing his memories of his previous life and decided that it would be best if he went to talk to eobard. He did so and in return, he was sent back into the alternate timeline Harrison created, but different. Barry was in the closest version to the original timeline once he took down the reverse flash. So in theory, if he were to stay in this timeline until 2020 then he would gain his speed force abilities again because the original Harrison wells would have made the particle accelerator. That's when it would implode and strike barry. Becoming the semi-original flash. But with this theory comes flaws. Because zoom will never happen because eobard isn't allowed to accomplish anything and won't be able to complete his mission of getting home. So that means that barries parents would have to die in some other form causing barry to go under self-doubt through a couple of episodes. Or maybe just one. If this were to happen it would take much longer for barry to meet supergirl. But also he and the green arrow meeting each other would not happen unless barry goes out there to take a breather. Because if you remember correctly. Barry went to starling city to find out more about the yellow streak, that he saw that night. But if the yellow streak never appeared then that wouldn't happen. Frost would most likely happen because remember this is still the alternate reality that barry created. He would still meet the legends and everything because there is nothing in the timeline that prevents that. Ronny will still be thought to be dead. But as in the story, he was alive so that means he still is alive and the firestorm. So yeah Ronnie would stay with the flash and not go to legends of tomorrow because of catlin they are still married and everything.
I figured out thawnes plan, you see: thawne didn’t want to kill Barry’s mother but wanted to erase future Barry by killing past Barry, however thawne is not stupid and he knew he couldn’t return home, so he killed Nora, not out of frustration but to erase original timeline Barry. OG timeline Barry’s timeline could’ve survived noras death, but it probably could not survive a few billion new changes in the flash timeline he created. Thawne couldn’t have been trapped in the past, he has his negative speed force which is immune to timeline changes thus, no matter how he wrecked the timeline, He couldn’t have lost his speed no matter how much he wrecked the timeline so we can only assume that thawnes plan is to erase the flash from existence and become the new flash. The time sphere cannot access different timelines and I’m pretty sure thawne new that so thawnes plan is to wreck the original timeline and make a new original timeline where he was the flash to begin with. There used to be an original timeline but thawne erased it.

There is an original timeline, however the reason original timeline Barry was wearing Chin strap in the battle in the Allen house was because he got his speed in 2020, thus if original timeline Barry were to have a show, 2024 would be OG timeline Barry’s season 4. That is probably why he is wearing the season 4 suit

OG Barry saved himself to let Thawne kill his mother if OG Barry didn't he wouldn't just die as a child he would also have a deadly timeline for everyone in that timeline 7.Thawne says "create" because if he said "recreate" it would mean that OG Flash is in that new timeline. 8.He didn't abandon the scene he went into the speedforce and either stayed there or became the lightning bolt that hit our Barry. 9.Thawne knows about Savitar because before Barry saved that crowd there was supposed to be a savitar in the OG timeline. 10.If OG Barry didn't warn our Barry, The timeline would get a crisis caused by Reverse-Flash and Flash fighting. 11.Thawne thought that a confession would get them nowhere because he wanted barry to reset the timeline and both of his parents would be there.
Awesome theory, but I think there was an original timeline and Eobard's time travelling is what split the time line. Of Barry was probably telling sn1 Barry to stay out of it because he was much slower and would be a liability if Eobard saw him.

Maybe the original timeline doesn't exist but maybe when the event of season 1 takes place the original timeline was rewritten completely thawne created his own Flashpoint in a sense that when he murdered Nora he changed the timeline in such a way that he couldn't return home the only way it could be fixed is that Barry becomes the flash and everything happens once more but sped up like savitar, crisis on infinite earth and other events. But thawne is the one manipulating things in such a way that it doesn't negatively impact him unlike younger inexperienced barry who is more impulsive when he caused Flashpoint in his grief.
when thawne shows up in season 2 and finds out the time period the flash is from it completely breaks the idea of an original timeline, because if that was original thawne, which it would have to be because there is no new thawne after season 1, only the remnant of thawne interacting with the timeline before he was erased and the one that hid in the negative speedforce to avoid the timeline change of eddies death, the original thawne wouldn't have found out the flash existed at that point in time in season 2 because original flash was supposed to be created in 2020 and theres no possible way original thawne could have interacted with new timeline flash unless there was never a timeline with the flash being created in 2020. Going down this road, i would have to assume that to tie the timeline together that in the final season we need see that original altercation between the flash and reverse flash where he kills Nora, because that is always meant to happen in order to create both the flash and reverse flash and keep the cycle going, if we never get that original altercation then Nora is never killed and neither the flash nor the reverse flash will ever have existed. This would explain why flashpoint was so drastically different, without Nora's death to create the flash we know, Wally becomes the only flash and everything in the real timeline becomes irrelevant. This is extremely confusing though because there is no possible way that thawne can exist since the timeline with Nora's death leads to him being erased, unless somewhere in season 1 a variable changed that led to thawne being erased, so maybe there had to have been an original timeline, just not as drastic a change as we thought it was. But maybe with crisis eddie is actually alive in this new world and this was always meant to happen, this crisis leading to eddie being alive and eventually the reverse flash is created, the reverse flash that goes back, kills Nora, and kickstarts the whole cycle again, thats of course depending on if time travel would travel him back to when there was infinite universes or if it would travel to some new past with only the one earth. Maybe that could be the reason his speed was so off in season 1, because of him being in a time with infinite universes it could have thrown off his negative speedforce. So then there would actually be no original timeline, just the one the show is on.

I know im late on this but there are a bunch of key words you missed in this video that throws your theory away. Gideon never said he LOST his speed she said it was DEPLETED meaning it was drained very very low. His connection to the speed force was gone. So why didnt he lose his speed overall then? Remember the chair, he used the chair to charge his speed, because his connection to the speed force was gone he needed a way to keep his speed so he charged it. As far as getting his speed back the moment barry became the flash, also remember the og flash was a veteran his connection to the speed force was strong he had already been the flash for a while now. When barry was hit by the lighting the reason thawne didnt regain his natural speed was because barry connection to the speed force was weak which was why he said he needed barry to run faster. The faster barry ran the better his connection to the speed force. I dont believe they created gideon to follow thawne, I think gideon is basically human like google, she does what anyone tells her, which is why she showed cisco her core so easily. I think barry is like her master if barry told her not to listen to wells she would do as he says. My thought is he stole her some way. another question ppl need to ask is, if the comic book timeline existed in this show.. then why when season 2 Barry went back and saved his mother he ended up creating a NEW reality (Flashpoint) instead of time correcting itself back to how things were before? Reverse Flash even tells him this..

So if there's no original timeline then why Thawne said while he was taking Harison wells identity, he said the particle accelerator was supposed to happen in 2020 creating the flash, and also in season 5, when Barry went back to 2015 with Nora, Thawne accidently called nora dawn revealing in the original timeline when barry got his speed in 2020 he had a daughter named Dawn not Nora, and Thawne made it clear he needed the particle accelerator to happen sooner, but it was supposed to happen in the year 2020 making the flash. The first timeline would have to be one with no altercations to time because a new timeline is only created when someone goes back and changes the original one. There is no way to make another timeline. The word "timeline" here is referred to as the chain of events that happens in everyone's lives. However, this would mean that there would never be time travel in the first timeline. So, someone in another alternate timeline would have to have impacted the original timeline in a way that time travel would be created. However, you can't make time travel with an original timeline because there is no time travel in the original timeline Holy crap. Reading this back made me think that I just disproved the entire concept of time travel. My original point was that the theory that there was no timeline in the flash was correct, but only because it is not a timeline to begin with. What it really is? I have no clue. Savitar is a great example of this, as the original timeline (or whatever it really is; I'm just gonna call it a timeline for ease of understanding) was one where Savitar was guaranteed to win as his existence was a closed loop, but when Barry time-traveled to 2024 I believe it was, he branched out a new timeline where Savitar hadn't won before because he got the information to build the speed force cannon which was eventually Savitar's fall. My point now is that he literally molded time to make an opening to be able to defeat Savitar, which is proof that he can mold time to his benefit, much like Eobard.
Great video but just one question. When Barry goes back in 9x10 they don’t time travel through a portal like they did in s1 when at the opening scene thawne comes running through the portal and Barry chasing after him. Also after thawne kills Nora and runs out of the house and starts having problems with his speed gidion doesn’t have the same message as in s1 but if it’s the same timeline shouldn’t the original events repeat?

What timeline and season is the flash that tells season 1 flash to not save his mom. The suit looks like the season 6 suit so does that mean that season 6 Barry fights thawne and tells season 1 flash not to save his mom. Imo I think that the OG Timeline Flash and the Flash are not from the same timeline. Thawne says that "Him and OG Flash weren't strong enough or fast enough to stop the other" while in 9x10 Flash was easily faster than Thawne as he was able to catch up with Thawne when Thawne ran to Barry's house 3 seconds earlier. Thats just my opinion.
When future barry knocks out Thawne he warns his younger self to not save Nora. Even though Nora dying was not meant to happen, the timeline already settled in so changing it wouldn’t give us the OG timeline. That was my first theory, my second theory connects with my first, my second theory is maybe future barry is not OG Barry maybe he is the same but from the future and when he fights Thawne he vanishes, creating the newspaper and then our Barry now will end up going to the house and saving his younger self but ends up vanishing
In the comics there is a story line where Barry travels back in time to save his mother and splits into two versions of himself one that fights Thorne on the eve of his mother’s death and one that becomes the lightning bolt that strikes him in his lab the night the particle accelerator explodes and gives him his powers in the first place. What if this is “original timeline Barry” the one who warns season 1 Barry not to save his mother and then disappears. At some future point in his life eg when Barry is old and dying of old age he realises that original Barry who faded at flashpoint needs to be there the first time he ever goes back so he travels back to become him and splits in two in the process, part of him splits off and becomes the lightning bolt and exits the time stream at the right point to hit himself in the lab and give him his powers and the rest de aged by giving up a lot of his years of life to create the lightning bolt appears at his house the night of noras death, fights Thorne, saves his child self and warns season one Barry not to interfere with the events and then either says good bye to Norah taking the end of flash point Barry’s place saying that in this version of the timeline and then fades from reality maybe to the speed force or that conversation simply never happens and he fades straight away (to either outcome).

Dark Web no I'm talking about the timeline for the show. The timeline/first season we are first introduced to is not the original timeline. We know this because the Reverse Flash exists. The true original timeline has no time travel and no Reverse Flash. This is touched on in the comics too but in OG timeline the Reverse Flash doesn't exist. It's through millions of micro changes done by time travel that changes the Reverse Flash from a friend to a foe. This is all one big messed up time loop. Every time back or forward messes everything up slightly or majorly. It's a spiral that intersects a line that keeps shifting over. If I had paper I could draw it out. It's easier to understand when you see it you have a oh shit okay moment.

First off, Thawne still existed in the timeline at this point...as in, he would still be born in the future, irrespective of whether Barry became Flash or not. That's pretty significant in terms of preserving the existence of the time-traveling version of himself. Usually when we see a character get erased, its not because their traveling back becomes impossible, but because their very birth becomes impossible. That's the case with Thawne himself (once Eddie commits suicide), with OG Nora West-Allen (since COIE is preponed to 2019 and Barry dies before she's conceived), and with Savitar (since once Iris doesn't die in 2017, Barry won't create the time remnant in 2021).
Now its possible that had Thawne taken no action to ensure the Flash's existence, this version of him might have been erased eventually, and the only Thawne would be living in the future with no memories of ever knowing about the Flash or becoming a speedster.
But, almost immediately after killing Nora, Thawne starts taking steps to ensure that Barry becomes the Flash. So he has some leeway. Its a game of probability. As long as it's theoretically possible that in the future Barry could become the Flash (and thus Eobard would become the Reverse-Flash), time-traveling Thawne continues to exist.

But the RF we saw in all the seasons are not the RF from this 2014 timeline . 2020 timeline's Barry somehow learn about the Crisis of Infinite Earth event which was set to happen in 2024 so he should have searched a way to remain alive ( or to make sure one of his timeline remnant lives) and as RF told Barry in season 3 2nd episode "The you that I know , he's not this stupid" so 2020 timeline Barry is smarter than the other Barry ( maybe he was smarter than all other versions of him ) and he has got Gideon ( which the 2020 timeline Barry created) . So Gideon most probably found a way for him to be alive and to have a family ( we have Gideon calculating complex time traveling stuffs for the LOT) . Season 9 episode 10, 2020 timeline RF told 2014 timeline Barry that he ( referring the version of the Flash he knew) actually created a timeline so that he/ or his timeline remnant could live .
From all of this I have understood one thing , these two timelines merged together at the time when 2014 Barry faced 2020 timeline RF in 2000 and by doing so he ensured he remains alive.
But there is another thing which I noticed and it can easily prove that 2020 timeline existed .
The Thawne which arrived in season 9 episode 10 to kill Barry as a child was not enraged and he came in 2000 in daytime while in season 1 we see Thawne coming out from a portal and Barry's running after him.
These can suggest that the Thawne we saw in season 9 episode 10 was indeed from 2014 timeline and there was a timeline in which Barry became the Flash in 2020 and created timeline by letting Thawne kill his mother in the past . And just like Harry Wells said in season 2 episode 11 "Barry's mother's death is fixed point in this timeline and nothing can change that from happening".

This would also mean savitar was always there, and wasn’t a product of flashpoint like some people believe. In season 3 episode 15, savitar did say “when you created flashpoint, you unwittingly provided me with the means for my return”... I do think things happened differently and made a new outcome with savitar, because of flashpoint being being created. Although it is kinda weird, and it would mean there is a timeline somewhere out there where his mother never died, because then there wouldn’t be a reason to make flashpoint to begin with. Do we know if flashpoint was a destined thing? If flashpoint was a destined thing in the first place it would’ve made savitar escaping from the speedforce much quicker, but for some reason savitar had to wait for it to happen.

Being it as a fixated loop there is no telling. Classic case of the chicken and the egg. However if the timeline is malleable then there could be something that started that loop but there has to be something else to fixate that loop and eventually something that ends it. A dying speedforce could do tough.

I agree with everything except Eobard always being responsible for creating the Flash. He said ‘create’ instead of ‘recreate’ because that timeline would not have a Flash if it wasn’t for him. We also now from season 2 that the real Wells successfully makes the particle accelerator explosion because Thawne mentions it after spying on Harrison and Tess (saying sorry, his accelerator has to be built earlier so he can go home before it’s original completion date)

You forgot about Gideon and the time(line) Eobard originates from. Remember that in s2 he had problems finding out the Flash's time period - which shows Thawne isn't personally knowledgeable as everyone makes him seem to be.
Plus, you forgot about Gideon. She is made by Barry and listens to him, yet she helps Thawne?
That means Gideon lied to Eobard about Harrison Wells being the original creator of The Flash. Remember that s2 Team Flash was all about keeping the timeline intact.
It took Eobard 15 years to realize that. But he did it.
You have no confirmation of the original timeline except some lies(fed to Team Flash) from Thawne and his misinformation he shows to the audience(the 2020 Wells&Tess stuff said to him by Gideon)
Plus, according to Eobard, in that flashback scene where he kills Wells and assumes his likeness, Wells and Tess didn't even create The Flash in the year 2020 - given it was a successful launch.

Also, season 2 says nothing about Tess and Wells being successful. S2, on contrary, says that The Arrowverse is a complicated time loop. And that Eobard always made The Flash.
He said 'create' because he is the one who used the p.a to give Barry his powers. If you believe in the og timeline, then the p.a never exploded because it was successfully launched in 2020.
Reverse Fuhrer in the o.g. timeline, I always assumed the p.a. exploded; Thawne just needed to do it himself sooner. He even explains this in Legends of Tomorrow how he copied the p.a. design to receive to become a speedster. (I’m just hoping not to get this confused with the comics)

So, very interesting video, I really liked the approach. But we need NOT to forget that the reverse flash of s2 is a younger version of him, he doesn’t even know the name of the Flash and he hasn’t kill his mother yet.
In the beginning of the episode, asking Gideon “where the hell am I “, that means that he time travel randomly in the past trying to find out time is flash coming from.
That means that or they have met somehow in a random time in a fight, or is their very first meeting.
The paradox is:
1) that Thawne already know that the origin of the flash is because of a reaction, which he dublicated and he obtained his own powers (his own speed force maybe), but he doesn’t know his name yet,
2) if is the first time they meet, doesn’t make sense because in that version of reverse flash , the flash stroke by lightning was in a different year (2020 if I remember correctly), so the story Eobard know about the Flash is different than the timeline they meet. That’s a paradox.
3) how is possible to be able to travel back in time, but not be able to travel without the help of the tachyon device?
4) how is possible to have Gideon, which was created by Barry Allen, and doesn’t have revealed the time is from or the name of The Flash?
5) Probably, when reverse flash returns to the future, he goes to a different future than he was before or at least with different events happened in the past for him, than he used to know.

He even explains to Nora how to access it. The negative speed force is fueled by negative energy(meaning hate and anger) Thats how he gained access to it, his hate for barry fueled HIS connection to the speed force and made it negative, but its still part of the actual SPEED FORCE

I believe that there is no og timeline. The future flash made sure that these events countinue to happen by programing Gideon to help eobard. It's all a setup. Eobard is used as pawn to set these things into motion.

To me, OG timeline does exists yet it was only present in one instances of our Barry : when he was 11 years old. The Flash from S1 was never in the house in the first timeline, the second timeline however S1 Flash was there.
Another proof of OG timeline is that Barry and RF were fighting off and came out of a portal to 2000. However, compared to S9, both of them didn’t come out of a portal but were teleported by a mysterious force (Cobalt Blue’s stone) and had a chat.

I have a theory that acually orginal Barry was Savitar who was thrown away by Team Flash( after he had returned to 2024 from 2000) and by Barry 's actions from season 2 (Flashpoint) he was able to live in his time, his timeline. He was trying fix what Reverse Flash 's done .However being thrown away and losing his mother caused him became evil version of the Flash.

Technically for universe 1, there was an original timeline. Because think about it this way. Who was the first person to alternate the timeline? It was eobard thawn. This happened because, well he wanted to make sure that barry could not become the flash. In doing this he didn't have enough speed in order to get back to his original time period. In doing so he was left stuck waiting for barry to grow older. So he became Harrison wells. In doing this he was able to make the particular accelerator occur much faster than in the original timeline. He made the particle accelerator happen and everything goes like in the show. The second time someone alters the timeline is the one and only Barry Allen himself. He goes back in time and takes down reverse flash. In doing this he was sent into an alternate reality. Were his parents never die. He was losing his memories of his previous life and decided that it would be best if he went to talk to eobard. He did so and in return, he was sent back into the alternate timeline Harrison created, but different. Barry was in the closest version to the original timeline once he took down the reverse flash. So in theory, if he were to stay in this timeline until 2020 then he would gain his speed force abilities again because the original Harrison wells would have made the particle accelerator. That's when it would implode and strike barry. Becoming the semi-original flash. But with this theory comes flaws. Because zoom will never happen because eobard isn't allowed to accomplish anything and won't be able to complete his mission of getting home. So that means that barries parents would have to die in some other form causing barry to go under self-doubt through a couple of episodes. Or maybe just one. If this were to happen it would take much longer for barry to meet supergirl. But also he and the green arrow meeting each other would not happen unless barry goes out there to take a breather. Because if you remember correctly. Barry went to starling city to find out more about the yellow streak, that he saw that night. But if the yellow streak never appeared then that wouldn't happen. Frost would most likely happen because remember this is still the alternate reality that barry created. He would still meet the legends and everything because there is nothing in the timeline that prevents that. Ronny will still be thought to be dead. But as in the story, he was alive so that means he still is alive and the firestorm. So yeah Ronnie would stay with the flash and not go to legends of tomorrow because of catlin they are still married and everything.

I figured out thawnes plan, you see: thawne didn’t want to kill Barry’s mother but wanted to erase future Barry by killing past Barry, however thawne is not stupid and he knew he couldn’t return home, so he killed Nora, not out of frustration but to erase original timeline Barry. OG timeline Barry’s timeline could’ve survived noras death, but it probably could not survive a few billion new changes in the flash timeline he created. Thawne couldn’t have been trapped in the past, he has his negative speed force which is immune to timeline changes thus, no matter how he wrecked the timeline, He couldn’t have lost his speed no matter how much he wrecked the timeline so we can only assume that thawnes plan is to erase the flash from existence and become the new flash. The time sphere cannot access different timelines and I’m pretty sure thawne new that so thawnes plan is to wreck the original timeline and make a new original timeline where he was the flash to begin with. There used to be an original timeline but thawne erased it.

Because by that point it became a set point in time and even more after Barry didn't do it the first time he went back in time and made sure his mom died so thawne will lose. But when he went back in time and stopped him he knew savitar will come out of it as time has passed and that was a set point in time a moment that seemed so small caused massive ripple affects because it became a set point in time for someone's life and the timeline had to correct itself. Eobard needing to create the flash to keep his speed or how savitar needs to break barry to be "born"

5.The script that the actor said wasn't wrote properly, Barry will lose his memories and forget he's the flash, has speed and will forget how to time travel
6. OG Barry saved himself to let Thawne kill his mother if OG Barry didn't he wouldn't just die as a child he would also have a deadly timeline for everyone in that timeline
7.Thawne says "create" because if he said "recreate" it would mean that OG Flash is in that new timeline.
8.He didn't abandon the scene he went into the speedforce and either stayed there or became the lightning bolt that hit our Barry.
9.Thawne knows about Savitar because before Barry saved that crowd there was supposed to be a savitar in the OG timeline.

Maybe the original timeline doesn't exist but maybe when the event of season 1 takes place the original timeline was rewritten completely thawne created his own Flashpoint in a sense that when he murdered Nora he changed the timeline in such a way that he couldn't return home the only way it could be fixed is that Barry becomes the flash and everything happens once more but sped up like savitar, crisis on infinite earth and other events. But thawne is the one manipulating things in such a way that it doesn't negatively impact him unlike younger inexperienced barry who is more impulsive when he caused Flashpoint in his grief.
Timelines are never rewritten on The Flash. They are newly created.

when thawne shows up in season 2 and finds out the time period the flash is from it completely breaks the idea of an original timeline, because if that was original thawne, which it would have to be because there is no new thawne after season 1, only the remnant of thawne interacting with the timeline before he was erased and the one that hid in the negative speedforce to avoid the timeline change of eddies death, the original thawne wouldn't have found out the flash existed at that point in time in season 2 because original flash was supposed to be created in 2020 and theres no possible way original thawne could have interacted with new timeline flash unless there was never a timeline with the flash being created in 2020. Going down this road, i would have to assume that to tie the timeline together that in the final season we need see that original altercation between the flash and reverse flash where he kills Nora, because that is always meant to happen in order to create both the flash and reverse flash and keep the cycle going, if we never get that original altercation then Nora is never killed and neither the flash nor the reverse flash will ever have existed. This would explain why flashpoint was so drastically different, without Nora's death to create the flash we know, Wally becomes the only flash and everything in the real timeline becomes irrelevant. This is extremely confusing though because there is no possible way that thawne can exist since the timeline with Nora's death leads to him being erased, unless somewhere in season 1 a variable changed that led to thawne being erased, so maybe there had to have been an original timeline, just not as drastic a change as we thought it was. But maybe with crisis eddie is actually alive in this new world and this was always meant to happen, this crisis leading to eddie being alive and eventually the reverse flash is created, the reverse flash that goes back, kills Nora, and kickstarts the whole cycle again, thats of course depending on if time travel would travel him back to when there was infinite universes or if it would travel to some new past with only the one earth. Maybe that could be the reason his speed was so off in season 1, because of him being in a time with infinite universes it could have thrown off his negative speedforce. So then there would actually be no original timeline, just the one the show is on.

I know im late on this but there are a bunch of key words you missed in this video that throws your theory away. Gideon never said he LOST his speed she said it was DEPLETED meaning it was drained very very low. His connection to the speed force was gone. So why didnt he lose his speed overall then? Remember the chair, he used the chair to charge his speed, because his connection to the speed force was gone he needed a way to keep his speed so he charged it. As far as getting his speed back the moment barry became the flash, also remember the og flash was a veteran his connection to the speed force was strong he had already been the flash for a while now. When barry was hit by the lighting the reason thawne didnt regain his natural speed was because barry connection to the speed force was weak which was why he said he needed barry to run faster. The faster barry ran the better his connection to the speed force. I dont believe they created gideon to follow thawne, I think gideon is basically human like google, she does what anyone tells her, which is why she showed cisco her core so easily. I think barry is like her master if barry told her not to listen to wells she would do as he says. My thought is he stole her some way. The first timeline would have to be one with no altercations to time because a new timeline is only created when someone goes back and changes the original one. There is no way to make another timeline. The word "timeline" here is referred to as the chain of events that happens in everyone's lives. However, this would mean that there would never be time travel in the first timeline. So, someone in another alternate timeline would have to have impacted the original timeline in a way that time travel would be created. However, you can't make time travel with an original timeline because there is no time travel in the original timeline

My original point was that the theory that there was no timeline in the flash was correct, but only because it is not a timeline to begin with. What it really is? I have no clue. Savitar is a great example of this, as the original timeline (or whatever it really is; I'm just gonna call it a timeline for ease of understanding) was one where Savitar was guaranteed to win as his existence was a closed loop, but when Barry time-traveled to 2024 I believe it was, he branched out a new timeline where Savitar hadn't won before because he got the information to build the speed force cannon which was eventually Savitar's fall. My point now is that he literally molded time to make an opening to be able to defeat Savitar, which is proof that he can mold time to his benefit, much like Eobard.

When Barry goes back in 9x10 they don’t time travel through a portal like they did in s1 when at the opening scene thawne comes running through the portal and Barry chasing after him. Also after thawne kills Nora and runs out of the house and starts having problems with his speed gidion doesn’t have the same message as in s1 but if it’s the same timeline shouldn’t the original events repeat?

the timeline before and after Nora was killed is still the same timeline. events are fixed into the past and present but in season 4 when barry time travels to the night that iris is killed by Savitar jay Garick stated that the future isn't fixed and that there are thousands of different outcomes of what the future can become when an event happens it might alter the future and its events. but like harry wells stated in season 2 is that Barry's mother's death is a fixed point in the timeline and if barry were to change that he would create a new alternate timeline completely different to the one they were in. when barry accidentally time travelled in season 1 to stop weather wizard barry created the second timeline and the new timeline was different to the "original timeline", when barry was a week in the past he stopped the death of cisco and Caitlyn because when Wellsobard killed cisco and was about to go kill Catelyn because she saw his wheelchair in jitters without him sitting in it.

The suit looks like the season 6 suit so does that mean that season 6 Barry fights thawne and tells season 1 flash not to save his mom. And does season 6 flash go back in time to do that because he is almost out of speed and that’s why in Barry’s point of view he vanishes bec he dies he “vanishes? And how and when does the Barry die that Nora his daughter knows of?

Because if he didn’t let Nora die, he would never be the flash... at least that’s just the theory. Which I happen to disagree with tbh. Because the reverse flash traveling back in time makes a timeline change either way, and now it’s just a closed loop, I believe there was at one point a timeline where his mother lived. The particle acceleration explosion would’ve happened a few years later and would’ve created the flash either way.
Theory what if original Barry also lost his speed and was stuck in that timeline but then after he got his speed he went back to the future to see that there is another version of Barry the Barry that’s in the show so original Barry is like a time remnant and then he is full of rage that’s when savitar attacks and then original Barry becomes savitar because he so angry

Imo I think that the OG Timeline Flash and the Flash are not from the same timeline. Thawne says that "Him and OG Flash weren't strong enough or fast enough to stop the other" while in 9x10 Flash was easily faster than Thawne as he was able to catch up with Thawne when Thawne ran to Barry's house 3 seconds earlier.

When future barry knocks out Thawne he warns his younger self to not save Nora. Even though Nora dying was not meant to happen, the timeline already settled in so changing it wouldn’t give us the OG timeline. That was my first theory, my second theory connects with my first, my second theory is maybe future barry is not OG Barry maybe he is the same but from the future and when he fights Thawne he vanishes, creating the newspaper and then our Barry now will end up going to the house and saving his younger self but ends up vanishing
In the comics there is a story line where Barry travels back in time to save his mother and splits into two versions of himself one that fights Thorne on the eve of his mother’s death and one that becomes the lightning bolt that strikes him in his lab the night the particle accelerator explodes and gives him his powers in the first place. What if this is “original timeline Barry” the one who warns season 1 Barry not to save his mother and then disappears. At some future point in his life eg when Barry is old and dying of old age he realises that original Barry who faded at flashpoint needs to be there the first time he ever goes back so he travels back to become him and splits in two in the process, part of him splits off and becomes the lightning bolt and exits the time stream at the right point to hit himself in the lab and give him his powers and the rest de aged by giving up a lot of his years of life to create the lightning bolt appears at his house the night of noras death, fights Thorne, saves his child self and warns season one Barry not to interfere with the events and then either says good bye to Norah taking the end of flash point Barry’s place saying that in this version of the timeline and then fades from reality maybe to the speed force or that conversation simply never happens and he fades straight away (to either outcome).

No there is an original timeline. Then who ever messed with time first changed it. Think of it as a spiral each change messing with things more and intersecting. Basically this show takes place long after the first change. There may have been trillions of changes before we got to the show. The OG timeline has been long lost

Dark Web no I'm talking about the timeline for the show. The timeline/first season we are first introduced to is not the original timeline. We know this because the Reverse Flash exists. The true original timeline has no time travel and no Reverse Flash. This is touched on in the comics too but in OG timeline the Reverse Flash doesn't exist. It's through millions of micro changes done by time travel that changes the Reverse Flash from a friend to a foe. This is all one big messed up time loop. Every time back or forward messes everything up slightly or majorly. It's a spiral that intersects a line that keeps shifting over. If I had paper I could draw it out. It's easier to understand when you see it you have a oh shit okay moment.
