- This is the Porsche Macan Turbo Performance, my daily driver and family car! Power is up by 40bhp (to 434bhp) and there’s 34lb ft extra in the torque department (now at 443lb ft). That makes for a 0.2-second quicker 0-62mph launch time, down to 4.4sec.
Other tweaks to the Porsche Macan Turbo include larger diameter steel brake discs with grooves on both sides as standard and the suspension has been lowered by 15mm, while the Sport Chrono pack and sports exhaust system are standard.

Man, I'm aware of an owner who put you 1,000 hp at a specialist in Portugal at "vcpower". On the outside there is no difference, but when you turn the key, magic happens. Congratulations on the adjustment you made to yours. It's wonderful.

It really has transformed the look of the car. The satin finish accentuates the shape of all body panel lines, which looks fabulous

Cayenne if you need to haul
Glc 63 is also great. I would only get one of these two and in the worst case if i need a larger one the gle63. But macan and glc really are the sweet spot. Only reason why i prefer the Benz obviously is the v8 and its meaner looks but tje macan is also awesome

I recently got my hands on a Macan GTS, it absolutely blew my mind away. Never knew an suv could offer such sporty handling and yet be comfortable and usable.
I have a PTS Miami Blue Macan GTS that I simply adore. It I makes the right noises, is practical, comfortable, and fun to drive. Loved this review of the Turbo Performance. Thanks for sharing!

Curious to see a before and after of the wrap. What sort of cost. This is simply a paint protection application? I have a Q5 to trade up for Macan Turbo soon, and just purchased my baby 718 GTS in graphite blue with 1k miles and no wrap or protection or flaws on the paint currently. Any recommendation? As always, no one does a classier review than Mr. JWW. I'm usually not a fan of matte wraps or paint in general but combined with the shiny accents and the car itself….it works well. bravo. I appreciated the review of how the (gorgeous) interior was holding up under the stresses of family life, but would expect nothing less than a spotless interior from you ;) However, I wish that in addition to the driving characteristics, you had gone over the functional quirks a bit more, like how well does the tailgate work in daily life; getting the car seat in and out; how well the doors operate in tight spots moving the kid/supplies in and out, responsiveness of HVAC etc. Maybe in another 6-8 months you can fill us in on those aspects as the little guy expands his boundaries! Cheers!
You were the inspiration to wrap my 911 in satin safari yellow. I was quite impressed when you wrapped your gt-3 in blue. Satin is a great finish because it shows off the lines of the car very well.

The wrap is stunning. I own a 997 Turbo in Meteor Gray which is very close to your Macan. I never considered a transparent wrap in satin. Gorgeous!

This is a great car, one that I'm looking at now in 2023 as a trade-in for my 2019 E-Pace. Sadly, the 2 that I am considering do not have this beautiful light interior.

Agreed, Macans are everywhere. A neighbor drives a stunning blue version with contrasting black wheels. It is jaw-dropping beautiful. Unlike those hideous Panameras that are also everywhere.

Gorgeous, I love matte, especially on Porsche's.... Cant wait until my 2020 C4 GTS comes in. If you Google "Marco van Overbeeke Bugatti livery, it's the blue with red stripe, red calipers and some interior accents.

I’m not a fan of flat finish paints in general but in a wrap but more importantly a SATIN flat finish is interesting, it does indeed help highlight body features but it’s also helped by the colour too I believe, colour is just as important in this respect as it the features themselves.

Totally agree with you, we have a Macan and three year old twins!! It’s perfect!! We also have a 991.2 GTS that the family also rides a lot in!! And I do track days with the GTS so this family really enjoy our Porsches!! I can’t really think of a brand that could replace our fleet!! Porsche for the win!! Keep up the good work James!!! Big fan!!

That Finish accentuates elegance and you could tow a caravan; dress the caravan up and have more fun then expected.. But the DBX would not just be a shooting brake.. either interesting with a pair of Slingshots on a trailer..
Great vehicle with one massive flaw. It has a colour similar to 90% of other vehicles. Stand out and Differentiate with a different brighter colour.
Had a diesel S for the day as a loaner and it was a hoot to drive. The transmission in the Cayenne is better for towing though.

The performance is incredible. Next to other SUVs this is comparable "supercar" performance, so they could've called it a Super Sports Utility Vehicle, but then the acronym would be SSUV, and I'm not sure that's something Porsche would really want

May I ask you, did you have the bottom trim glossy black coated or it come like that, I really want that on my Macan Turbo but I want something durable.
Nice video. If I were in the market for an SUV, the Macan would be my first (and probably only) choice.
You asked for opinions on the PPF, sorry but I am not a fan of the matt or satin finish at all. It might differentiate the car but I think it leaves it looking dull and unfinished. Like someone forgot to put the top coat on it. It also makes it appear grubby even if it is clean. However, if you and yours like it, that's all that matters.
It looks fantastic! My Macan is currently dark blue, does anyone have any idea what the closest wrap colour would be to this? Satin grey looks a bit shinier!

That's the shiniest garage floor I've ever seen.
Consumer advice! We have 2 boys under 5 and have a series 1 Q3 for family duty. It’s a fwd trip and on Michelin cross climates, for the tyre fetishists. It swallows all we need for a family holiday away and there has been enough room in the back for one rear and one forward facing seat. However, I can’t sit in front of the rear facer, as I’m 6’4’’. I think the Macan is on a similar platform, or does it share with the Q5?
Macan might be a goer when we swap the family motor.
