I've always wanted the T1 camper van and it's also my favorite out of the bunch. It literally changed my perspective of how lego cars could be THAT good.
My favorite Easter egg in all of these is that one of the Beetle's license plates is P51 AK1, in reference to the designer, Mike Psiaki. The Mustang, which he also designed, has the optional license plate P51 AK2, and the Porsche, another one of his, has P51 AK3.
It's hard to pick a favourite, and I haven't built them all (yet). But the London Bus is such a great set, had a lot of fun putting that one together.
This is an amazing collection of cars Bricksie!!! You have done such an amazing job of collecting all of these amazing sets!!!
You've made me want to buy some of these. I wish LEGO still made this MINI, that's my favourite one. But the new ones look cool too.
The F40 is the best for sure. The whole build is amazing and every piece is another surpise when you build it. The headlights.... not sure why those are so important to the viewer, for me the way the shapes of this car were created are the best feature!
True, but for me the mustang. It looks fantasic and you got the steering
I love my F40 but after getting the mustang the F40 looks a little stunted and small
A few more quirks not shown:
Adjustable rear suspension on the Mustang
Revolving license plates in the Bond DB5
Pop up headlights on the F40
Gum under one of the seats on the London Bus
And the adjustable beds in the campervans
the kickstand on the harley
Also, the contents of the cooler on the Beetle.
Great review. I have all of these minus the new truck which is due to be released on 01/10 and is a must have purchase too. I also have the Lego Ideas Caterham 7, the Ghostbusters Ecto 1 and the Batmobile. Addictive stuff if you are a petrol head. Like you, I’d struggle to pick my favourite; all have appeal, clever building techniques and really do look the part. Thanks again.

I love watching this as I have all of them except for the T2 Campervan. I also have the baby blue Fiat 500! They all look so cool together. Great video mate!
There is also a feature on the Ford GT that raises and lowers the backend to give it a meaner look.

i got the VW camper set when i was 11 and was somehow smart enough to swap the entire set (except the engine etc) to make it right hand drive and so the side doors were on the left, i don’t think i would be smart enough to do that now.

I love how it all started with the vw t1 and it ends with the largest brick set in the collection being the t2

the London bus also has a pink stud under one of the seats to represent gum

Great video! I have all of these too. I found the T2 camper van so tricky to make, it keep falling apart on me! Very frustrating build

I had planned to do my 2nd Porsche 911 in the Targa trim Until I was told about a brilliant idea available to turn the Porsche 911 into a Lamborghini Countach!
Being a vw fan every time you say engine in the back it makes me like seurously
I found that building the Targa Porsche first and then converting it to the Turbo was easier than the reverse, but out of the box it was made as Turbo.

My friend has the beetle. I remember when the JB DB5 came out I wanted to get it so bad, but I didn't have the time or the disposable income to get it. I'm considering getting either the 911 or mustang now. The farm truck is pretty cool too.

I only have the Mustang and VW Beetle but favourite is definitely the Mustang. I love how detailed it is. Certainly the newer techniques used make a difference over the old vehicles.

I have the mini but don’t love it - too flat/chunky. I realise thats a limitation of the format but still. Same reason I’m not in love with the beetle (looks more like a 2CV) and the Fiat 500 (rear is nice and the accessories are great but the front is a bit poor). Have the Mini, T1, F40 and just bought two porsches to MOC one. The T1 and F40 are just *perfect*. Also have my eye on the Mustang as its very neat and tidy

I own the mustang and personally I keep it looking classic without the big splitter, side exhaust and spoiler. Occasionally I put the blower on it tho

you didnt lock in the front windshield correctly on the porsche, the two 2x2 beige bricks in the middle gotta tilt and connect to the windshield, also why your roof has a noticeable gap.
We need more super and hyper cars

My favorites are the f40, mustang, and Porsche 911
I'm sorry, but on the Mustang that accessory is called a blower, not an engine, it allows more airflow into the engine, I made the same mistake before getting into cars, so I understand. Loved your video and I am considering picking up the Mustang for my Birthday.

I do have the Ecto-1 but just chose to leave it out. It just doesn't really fit in my opinion.

That Ferrari F40 is absolutely a beautiful car, that monster V12, just pure power no added electronics, it is one of the last drivers cars made as so many have power steering or other aids but you work to drive it or it will bite you
Mike, just for your info... A F40 had/has a twin turbo V8 😉
@@robertvanerkel5711 wow and I call myself a Tifosi, kinda feel stupid, lol...I have never seen a F40 in person but I did actually get to see a F50 at Indianapolis in 2000 the first year of the F1 race at Indianapolis. Fun event and glad I actually got to take the family to a F1 event..

As a massive Lego fan and a huge Mini fan that's the one model that's always bugged me, especially the engine detail, the twin SU carbs are accurate BUT the exhaust manifold is on the front of the engine in the model which is disappointing also they only had 3 ports coming out of the engine on the real car, also they seem to have taken bits of various minis e.g a MK3 mini front grille but MK1 mini external door hinges.....probably not a big deal for people but as a mini enthusiast its just a little disappointing
