One thing to note is even though it’s class D my class D still requires mode C transponder since we are in the mode C vail of Miami. Love the videos. Preparing for flight review.

Hellll yeah you passed brother! Congratulations on it. I'm so stoked to hear. 7 hours is pretty brutal! Do you live in SoCal or something? haha

The ACS Library I’m in Houston. 7 hours was tough but I’m so thankful for my DPE taking that time. He was very through and we had some very good high level discussions on technique and such. With all the rules and such most peeps think there’s only one way to do a maneuver. There’s actually multiple ways and some are better than others. My training CFI is a 30 year master CFI so when the DPE tells me there’s a better way to do it I’m all ears.
This stuff is life and death... you want to take this seriously and learn as much as you can. I’m learning from the best. There’s going to be circumstances out side of my control trying to kill me. I don’t want something I do to add to the issue. It’s not just one thing that’s going to get you. It’s the collective that puts you in a situation where your last words will be “oh Sh@t”, and if you have time pray for your family.
Go watch how others have made bad decisions which cost them their life and everyone on board. Listen to ATC tell them things they should not do. As PIC if I’m in IMC and not rated IFR but I’m surrounded by clouds all the sudden, I’m declaring an emergency and landing IFR.

Great job again Kyle... thank you for not stating your altitude when calling the tower, I hear that all the time and see books as well. There is no need to tell the tower your altitude. Would be good to say where you are in relation to the airspace.
