*Some thoughts:* after a few more days of reflection I realise that I’m not that disappointed. Yes, I could’ve made more of the roll but this is what film photography is. You’re not going to get 36 perfect exposures every time, at least not the way I make images! There has to be room for error so that we can learn from our mistakes. Nothing to be disappointed about as you mention below! I love most of the images and would be happy to have taken some of them :) Sometimes you don't need a plan.

trial and error is the most fun way to learn! not every image (or roll) has to be amazing, I just enjoy the process. loving the videos and especially your honest reflections :))
Totally agree. There are some simple things I can do to make sure each frame is the best it can possibly be, however sometimes its just impractical. Thanks for the kind words, glad you're enjoying the videos!
Completely new to film photography and photography in general, but want to get into it. These AE1 program shots look great. Should I get an AE1 program for a $100 w/accessories or a Nikon F2 for $200?
Hey there! You’ve made a good choice getting into film photography. I can’t really say anything about the Nikon F2, it’s a camera I haven’t got my hands on just yet. I have heard very good things about it though. On the other hand I can recommend the AE-1! It’s a brilliant camera and is suitable for beginners if you get the AE-1 Program, which has automatic modes. To be honest, I think spending less in the first instance would be the best option to see if you like the medium. Whatever you choose good luck and have fun!
i think you did an amazing job to be quiet frank. I really like all of them, the sunlight adds more detail and i think it was beautiful. overall, great job and please don't be hard on yourself.
I just bought a Canon ae1 (used obviously) and I'm starting to learn how to use it, I still need to buy film. In Puerto Rico there isn't a lot of film bc people don't actually buy it anymore so the only ones that I can find is kodak 400
Canon AE1 is a great camera, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. I would say don’t worry about the film too much in the beginning and just shoot as much as possible to gain an understanding of the camera. Maybe it’s a possibility for you to buy film online?
